Finca Del Mar vacation rentals

Lovely small house with pool. Beautiful location. Family friendly.

It is a comfortable place, perfect to relax and have a good time with friends.

Delightful property 150 steps from the ocean. Very reasonable long term rates. The host (Laure) is the best. The only downside for the squeamish, is no A/C. I personally did not find this to be a problem, even though the daily temperatures ranged from ~ 75 degrees to 90+ degrees with high humidity. All in all, highly recommend.

Casa Loca is party for many, dinner for four, sleeps 2. The incredible outdoor lower rancho allowed us to host almost the totality of the Finca, Los Cardones staff. The hammocks provided were the perfect siesta in the breeze spot! Upper rancho seated 6 nicely for dinner without insects. Bed is in a loft and mattress & bedding are high end. Olivia, our assigned housekeeper changed the color scheme of the sheets every week and we played a guessing game of what hue they were going to be. Jader, the gardener watered the lush garden 3 x/week. The plants kept the outdoor living space enclosed and totally private. Our dogs loved to lie on the cool stone patio. As surfers, we were glad for the 10 minute walk to the beach which kept us nice & fit throughout our stay. However bicycles would have been very nice. Staff &, neighbouring home owners made our stay in Nicaragua memorable. Now, we are quarantined with great memories

This was by far the best beach trip we have ever experienced. The house Casa Mana was perfect for our family of 4 and the community was super friendly and accommodating even with our language barrier. Dan and janelle do a great job handling all of our needs and great to et to know. We are not surfers but a great place to learn and just spend time on the beach with no crowds. I can’t say enough about this place and Nicaragua in general. We will be planning our next trip soon.

This was exactly what I needed. Everyone I encountered during my stay had been friendly and helpful. Only issue I can think of is the critters but escaped without a bite. Thank you to Janelle and thr staff at Los Cardones for an amazing trip and I look forward to my return

Myself and a group of seven friends came to Finca del Mar in July. We rented Los Pelicanos and the neighboring house, Casa Tranquila. Both houses were beautiful and very nice, and having the 2 neighboring houses made it feel like we had our own little village, especially since Pelicanos was two separate buildings, with a large outdoor table where we played board games every night. The homes in Finca del Mar would be nice by U.S. standards and they are quite luxurious compared to most of what you find in Nicaragua. These houses are just a 2 minute walk from Los Cardones along a shaded stone path where you might see the occasional passing Iguana. Los Cadones is an Eco Surf Lodge serving amazing food morning, noon, and night. The beach here is very beautiful and there are hardly any people on it. The busiest day at the beach had only about dozen people. But one of the best parts of any stay in Finca del Mar is dealing with Janelle, the property manager. She is incredibly attentive and friendly and always a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend a visit to Finca del Mar and the Los Cardones Surf Lodge.
