Stayed at this home over the 4th of July Holiday. It is a spectacular home with ALL the amenities you could want and/or need! Owners wonderful to rent from....extremely responsive to all inquries and absolutely helpful with all the questions we had. Home was clean, well kept, and well stocked with all the basic home needs. Friendly people all around the area. It was, quite simply, a wonderful trip!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our family has been renting houses in the area for several years now. This house was by far the nicest we have stayed in. It was super clean and had plenty of room for our large group. The owners and neighbors were very friendly and made sure we had everthing we needed. The house is perfect for fisherman as it had plenty of parking and is centrally located. In addition to Lake Kerr, within a short drive is Lake George, the St John's River, Lake Rodman, and Salt Springs. All offer excellent fishing and wildlife viewing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

The lake house is beautiful and very nicely maintained with all the comforts and luxuries you could want. The view from the huge front deck is beautiful and the porch rockers are very relaxing to enjoy a sunset or sunrise from. The beds are new and super comfortable and so are the couches. The fireplace was terrific to use on the cold crisp nights. Our 3 boys, ages 8 - 19 enjoyed the stay especially the flat scene tv where hours of sports were watched and the ipod docking station. They also enjoyed the large front lawn area where they played football and soccer. Would love to return in warmer weather to have some fun in the lake! The owners were so pleasant and easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: We purchased this property on the lake in 2007 and built this beautiful lake house in '08 to have a fun get away with family and friends. We live in Jacksonville Beach, FL. We would like to get a return on our investment through vacation rentals. The house is so beautiful, it should be enjoyed by many!
Why the Owner Chose Salt Springs:
We had been visiting this area for over 20 years and renting cabins. We decided we would build something nice for ourselves.
