I had a very enjoyable stay at the Casita. The owner went out of his way to make me comfortable. The property is first class in every way and I would not hesitate to come back.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The Casita is guest quarters to a "mansion" in a perfect setting. Secure, quiet, CLEAN, and close to northern Phoenix and Scottsdale. I drove to Tempe (very southern Phoenix in under 30 minutes and Taliesin West in about 10-15. This unit has to be the greatest value in AZ. I had the great pleasure of meeting the owner and he is one of the nicest guys I have EVER met. I stay in VRBO rentals several days/weeks a year and this is one of the BEST ---- THANKSRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Me, my Wife and Daughter stayed here in the beginning of July 2011. We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were much nicer then portrayed in the pictures. The beds were really comfortable, and the casita was very tastefully designed, and clean. The property has a stunning pool and putting green. The area is stunning, and there is a beautiful view of black mountain! Kathy and Tim were a real pleasure to deal with. We have stayed in many different properties around the area, and this one is the best so far! I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We stayed in the Casita for over a week and were quite comfortable. The pictures are true to what we experienced. The location is quiet despite being near main roads and it's easy to find and close to some great grocery stores and restaurants. Our experience with the owners was fantastic. They were -very- responsive and made the rental process very fast and convenient for us. They met us at the property and walked through the Casita with us and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully loaded with up to date appliances as described and the bed is comfortable. The bed and bath linens are really nice too. Our stay was not completely vacation since we had to work some days but coming home to your own Lazy-Boy style couch with cable TV and having a glass or two of wine and a little home-made appetizer was great! We highly recommend this Casita for one person or one couple.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The Casita was spacious and spotless. Everything a single or couple would want. Very quiet area. Private back area to enjoy morning coffee.
