Year Purchased: 2013
About the owner: Having grown up at the Jersey Shore (North Wildwood), I've never quite lost the 'sand in my shoes' so when the opportunity arose to purchase this lovely home just blocks from the beach in such a wonderful, year-round shore town, my family and I couldn't resist. We are a 'beach' family and vacationed in Cape May when our 22 and 18 year-old sons were younger. There was always something about Cape May that drew us there. The great beach, fantastic restaurants, art galleries, antiques and other specialty shops on and around the Washington Street Mall, the people, and I could go on and on. We're looking forward to enjoying and sharing our 'Shore Escape' for many years to come...
Why the Owner Chose Cape May:
Cape May, by far, offers much more than any other Jersey shore town. From the Victorian era homes and WWII history to the scenic coastal beauty and protected wetlands and birding sites, it offers something for everyone! Our beach house is a short 5 blocks from a beautiful and protected beach as well as many of the great town's many attractions!

Swim, surf, fish, and para-sail. Eco-tourism is popular and the Audubon Society has a museum within walking distance of the house. There are museums and world class playhouses. Art galleries and artist s populate the town. There is a large collection of Victorian era homes featuring tours. Take a carriage ride or trolley tour through the historic district. Climb the 199 steps of the CM lighthouse and tour the natural history museum. Visit the WWII bunker and observation tower. Pick up 'Cape May Diamonds' at Cape May point beach in front on the sunken ship 'Atlantis'. The birds love Cape May and attract many people who love to watch and admire them!
