  We had a wonderful time here on a 12 day snowmobiling trip. This was our 19th year for our annual trip and as far as accommodations, snow, and trail riding, we couldn't have asked for anything more! Our hosts, Kristen and Josh were fantastic--very friendly and helpful. The home is very nice and more than we needed or expected but value for our dollar was top notch! The area is very beautiful and all the people we met, on the trails, in the restaurants and gas stations and stores were all extremely friendly and nice. We cooked almost all our dinners and breakfasts in the home and the kitchen and items available for cooking lacked nothing what so ever. The size of the closets for every bedroom is unbelievable--bigger than many bedrooms in most houses. I can image this place is really something in the summer for swimming and boating and hiking etc.

  Our crew returned to Peaceful Point for a second successive year and once again had a fantastic time. The house was even better than we remembered from the previous year. Our group of 10 guys had plenty of room to roam, beds, and other accommodations for everyone to relax and forget about the troubles of everyday life. From the gourmet kitchen to the relaxing deck, the Peaceful Point home once again proved to be a remote utopia in the midst of the Chippewa National Forest. We had a large group which required three boats and big trucks, but the grounds have plenty of parking space to accommodate all the vehicles and a few more. Once again, the convenient location to the many area sites and attractions which surround and are found within the great community of Marcell (Timberwolf Inn, many outstanding fishing lakes, Frontier Sports, etc.) reinforced our enchantment with this beautiful Peaceful Point getaway. And of course the wonderful people of Marcell and the entire area made us feel as welcome as ever. Concluding a great day of fishing each evening was a breathtaking view of the sunset over Jack-The-Horse lake and a classic Minnesota northwoods campfire by the rustic fire pit. We will be certain to book far in advance next year to ensure our spot on the calendar of the magical wonder which is Peaceful Point. Thanks for another unforgettable year!

  We had a wonderful time at Peaceful Point! Fire pit, sand pit and sandy beach were a great plus for the grandkids. The jacuzzi tub and fully functional kitchen were a plus for us! The woods are beautiful and the lake house seemed very private and secluded. The staff were so helpful in getting us boats and answering our questions. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental to anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet get away in a lovely setting run by a caring and attentive staff. Well done!

  What an amazing place!! A group of 10 of us went and there was plenty of room for all of us to roam. The place was beautiful and exactly what we wanted privacy with a gorgous view! Thank you so much-we will for sure make this an "every year thing"!!

  The house was phenomenal! The minute you step foot in the grand entry from the gorgeous exterior, you immediately notice the well-maintained, clean home. We had a rather sizeable group and this house accommodated all of us and still provided room to roam. Five bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space, while you could find everyone usually spending time together in the gathering spot of the house--the open-concept living room/gourmet kitchen/deck area. The well-crafted knotty pine interior, beautiful stone fireplace, and soaring vaulted ceilings made you feel like you were a part of the breathtaking Chippewa National Forest which surround you on all sides. Everything you could possibly need (and more) is provided, so all you need to do is bring your food and clothes with you and relax. The outdoor fire pit provides a great place for everyone to hang out on a beautiful crisp Minnesota night for the classic Minnesota campfire experience. Plus throw in the convenient access to all the great fishing throughout the Marcell area and you have a recipe for the vacation you will never forget. The nearby Timberwolf Inn just down the road has everything you need for great food and a night out--make sure you talk to the staff and Marcell residents and you will meet some truly great people while you are there. Thank you to our gracious hosts Erik and Kristen for providing fantasic hospitality and fishing advice during our stay on Peaceful Point. We recommend this house to anyone who truly wants a unique, rustic getaway from the world without sacrificing any conveniences or amenities of modern life. We'll be back next year! The vacation you are looking for is waiting for your group/family on Peaceful Point!

  We spent a wonderful week at this house. We had 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 children, and we were very comfortable. The home is new with many ammenities, like a dishwasher and large kitchen, set on a quiet spot on the lake. We had a great week fishing, swimming, enjoying the wildlife (especially the loon calls nightly), and exploring the area (hitting a couple naturalist programs at the Edge of Wilderness center in Marcell and the Forest History Center in Grand Rapids, which was really cool!) Our family would love to go back.

  I would like to express heart-felt appreciation and satisfaction with our stay at the Peaceful Point Lake home! My family loved the privacy of the location and the home!! The lake shore beach was perfect for the kids, the guys loved the boat & the fishing, and we all were very happy with the perfect summer weather that week. The house was spacious enough that it never felt crowded - and the kitchen was the perfect family gathering space. I don't think any of us (including the kids) were ready to leave on our last day. We loved it so much that we are planning to return next summer and plan on staying for a week this time.

  When we first found this property the pictures looked great and it seemed like a real good value. We had no idea how amazing the place really was until we saw it in person! The build quality was unbelievable and the lake was beautiful. Everything is top grade from the wood floors to the open, high ceilings, it really is stunning. The lake is pristine and with the lake home situated just a few steps from the shore it's ideal for swimming and fishing. We felt like we had our own private lake! There aren't any neighbors nearby and we hardly saw any boats on the lake during our stay. Can't say enough good thing about the owner and the entire experience! Highly recommended!!!

  This is truely a wonderful place to vacation! The cabin we stayed in is brand new and far nicer than any other lakeside resort my family and I have ever stayed in. In previous summers we have rented places on Leech lake in Walker Mn, and Mille Lacs lake in Brainerd Mn, they are far too big and crowded for my taste. Camp Jack the Horse in Marcell Mn was just right. The lake was peaceful and beautiful, the owner was great to work with and the fishing was fantastic!! We are definitely going back.
