Welcome to Lake Tahoe, your relaxing home away from home at the heart of Lake Tahoe, the Jewel of the Sierra Nevada’s.
Your well appointed accommodations are located in lower Tahoe Donner, just off highway 80 in Truckee, California.
This large, stylish home is the perfect Tahoe mountain retreat with 2,000 sq. feet, two levels, knotty pine ceilings, and two decks overlooking a tranquil forested setting, complete with hot tub. It is perfect for a full range of guests: from small intimate gatherings, to large families or groups of friends.
There's room for everyone in this spacious, comfortable and affordable home. This fully remodeled three bedroom, two and a half bathroom plus bunk/lounge mountain home sleeps as many as fifteen and features two stories, a fully equipped granite kitchen, two flat panel TV's, and all new furniture including custom twin over queen log bunks. Free WiFi is also available for your use to stay connected to the outside world.
The first floor includes a full kitchen and large family/dining room, 42' TV with some movies and family games, as well as a half bath and large outdoor deck. Family room has ample seating and a relaxing and the warm ambiance of a gas burning stove
The second floor has two bedrooms, one with a custom twin over queen log bunk bed and the second with a queen sleigh bed. There is a full bathroom with shower over tub. The laundry area is also on this floor with a full size washer/dryer.
The master bedroom has a king bed, full bath with dual sinks and jetted tubs, kids sleeping bedroom with twin over twin bunk beds and a deck leading to the outside hot tub.
The bunk/lounge area has a two custom log twin over queen bunk beds, sofa and 32' LCD TV/DVD player.
Tahoe Donner is well maintained with golf course, swimming pools, exercise centers, tennis courts, private marina on Donner Lake, hiking/biking trails, equestrian center and restaurants. It's ideally situated in Truckee, near Donner Lake, shopping, fine dining, ski areas and of course, Lake Tahoe. At your doorstep are countless activities including: hiking, golf, kayaking, beach activities and more.
Visit Reno, Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe – all within an easy drive. Wonderful restaurants and cafes are a short drive away, or stay home and grill on the deck and relax in the hot tub.

Rates INCLUDE 10% Nevada County Hotel Tax for easy vacation planning.
Guests can choose to pay a fully refundable (if no damage) $500 security deposit or to pay a $49 non-refundable property damage protection insurance, which would be added to your reservation in lieu of the refundable security deposit.

My wife and I stayed here and really loved it. It's in a great location and the view off the back deck is great with barely any other houses in sight (just the next door one). This house is immaculate and very well furnished. We really enjoyed ourselves.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Brendan has a fantastic home that he was kind enough to rent to my girlfriend and I for her birthday celebration. Its a very nice and cozy place and we loved our stay there. We were 7 of us incl 3 kids and there was enough room for a few more. The home is very tastefully decorated and has all the comforts that one desires. This house is great for a group trip. Tons of beds in four separate rooms, it affords flexibility whether you have four people, or fourteen. It's conveniently located (with a Safeway right down the road) and gets great sunlight during the day. Clean, comfortable, and Owner is super responsive. Great location with things to do. We recommend to anyone without very young kids. We had our grandkids along who are 1 and 3 and the bars on the stairs were gapped to large for safety. We were able to block them for our stay so it is possible to work around this one inconvience. Really enjoyed the visit and the owner was very responsive to questions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had an amazing stay!! Our group included 3 different families with kids ranging from 6 months to 12. Everyone enjoyed themselves....,the games, movies, and toys kept them entertained after long days at the pool & lake. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. I would highly recommend renting it!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This townhouse provided us an excellent experience. The property was beautifully remodeled, very clean and well maintained. Tasteful colors and comfortable beds too. We are gourmet cooks and were delighted to find the quality pans, utensils and provisions of spices, herbs and sugar. The property looks out onto a green area and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. The owners were prompt in their responses (even after we vacated the property and realized we had forgotten something)! We would definitely recommend this property to friends. It is easy to find and convenient for enjoying the Tahoe area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I came to Tahoe with a group of 8 (4 couples) for a long weekend. This place was perfect for what we were looking for. It had enough private and bed space for each couple. This place would also be great for bigger parties, as there are plenty of beds to go around. I would definitely rent from B.L in the future. I would highly recommend renting this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I love being in the mountains to get away from our hectic lifestyles in the SF Bay. We both love to snowboard and decided to purchase in Tahoe to bring that experience to our young daughter as she grows up. Tahoe is our home away from home and we have been owners for a few years in Tahoe after many years of annual visits. During the winter we enjoy sharing our little oasis with like-minded friends in the ski lease and share it with others during the summer months.
