Spectacular Sunsets - If you like to hear the sound of waves hitting the shoreline while watching spectacular sunsets & smelling the salt air of the Chesapeake Bay, then you have found your vacation home on Tilghman which you have been looking for.
Located just 55 feet from the Bay with a large deck, 60 foot pier, screened porch, a boat ramp for launching your kayak or small boat, 2 bicycles (upon request) and a regulation horse shoe pit. If you like to fish for blues, rock or croaker, throw some crab pots over the side of the pier, or just catch up on reading a few books, this home has it all !!
And just maybe, you would like to take a walk -- if so, we are within walking distance to Dogwood Harbor to view several of the few remaining skipjacks, perhaps see a waterman bring in his catch of the day, as well as visit some fine restaurants, the new General Store, and an antique nautical book store.
We look forward to having you visit Tilghman, a small but very friendly fishing village, just ten minutes from St. Michaels...

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We had such a wonderful time here! Everything was perfect and so very comfortable. The views (and Sunsets) were amazing! Our girls really enjoyed themselves - and my husband I could finally relax !! Our life at home is pretty stressful - so this was a perfect change of pace. We just love Tilghman Island and all it's natural beauty. We're looking forward to coming back (hopefully here). Thank you again for your hospitality - We had a wonderful week!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
About the owner: My wife and I purchased this land and built a nice comfortable home on the Chesapeake Bay, primarly as an investment for our children's education... As the years went by, we decided we could keep the property and still educate our three children... This, our second home, is used sparingly as we are particular as to who we rent to as we want to keep it in awesome shape.. You will see this house lives up to our hype..
Why the Owner Chose Tilghman Island:
My wife and I enjoy waterfront living, spectacular sunsets and the sound of the waves crushing on the rip rap... I enjoy fishing and crabbing while we both enjoy relaxing and reading a good book.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Suffice to say, at sunset to see the sun and many of the colors of the rainbow as it sinks into the western shore, is a slight that you do not foorget and beg for more... Enjoying a bushel of freshly steamed crabs complete with Old Bay seasoning direct form the watermen, or fileting a fish on the cutting board while watching the sunset, is truly slice of heaven...
