  Wonderful home with everything you could even imagine wanting or needing. Golf carts and bikes meant anyone could go wherever they wanted at any time - or just sit on one of the porches enjoying the view. Robert was very helpful in getting blankets when it got cold and recovering articles for those of us who felt the need to leave something behind in hopes of a return trip. Will see you again next fall!

• Beautiful House!

  The descriptions and pictures of the house do not do it justice and the home was beyond our expectations. We were a party of seven and the home was a perfect fit for us. The home sits next to the marsh and there was very easy access to the boardwalk (where my 16 year-old went crabbing every day). The beach and Shoals Club are both a very short drive away. While there, the kitchen sink faucet broke. Our call to the property manager was returned immediately and the issue was handled promptly. In addition, the property manager could not have been nice to deal with! We recommend this home to all!

  Excellent location and spacious, well furnished home. We (2 families with 4 kids total) rented for a week. Kitchen contained everything we needed to help us cook- from the red fish we caught on the island to the pecan pie we baked. And no need to bring any beach towels, because the house is well stocked. Outdoor shower was nice to hose the kids off, and the boardwalk to the dock that goes out over the marsh was so very convenient, for the kids to go explore and for the adults to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Not to mention the crabs we caught off the dock over the marsh- yum. The netflix account that is included on the TV was utilized almost every night to watch a movie, and the upstairs porch overlooking the marsh was perfect for breakfast and coffee drinking, and also great for art projects for the kids. Thanks! We loved our stay!

  The House was exactly as described, if not even better. The house was absolutely beautiful. Everything was brand new and well taken care of. The views of the marsh are breathtaking and we loved taking daily walks out onto the community dock. There were eight adults in our group and there was plenty of space for everyone and we never felt crowded. The living room is spacious with a large comfortable couch, loveseat, and lounge chair with ottoman all surrounding a gas fireplace and a large flatscreen tv. The kitchen table was great, easily seating all 8 of us. The kitchen had all brand new appliances and a breakfast bar with plenty of counter space. The master bedroom, located off the main living area on the second floor, was huge and had a fantastic king bed and a huge master bath. The other three bedrooms were downstairs and were also very roomy. One of the major bonuses to this house is that each bedroom has its own private bath, and there is also a half bath off the main living area. Another nice feature is that this house has a laundry room, so we didn't have to pack as heavy, we could just do a small load of laundry midweek and we were fine (this makes the ferry trip even easier). The location of this house was also amazing. The outside seating off of the main living area provided great views of the marsh and the beaches are only a short golf cart ride away. The maritime market is the main grocery store on the island and is also just a 5 minute cart ride away. (note to renters: we highly suggest shopping at the Walmart in Southport for your major grocery items, the market can be quite expensive). The marina is on the other side of the island, but we always enjoyed taking a ride to see Old Baldy and grab a bite to eat at Eb and Flo's. The house also came with a membership to the Shoals Club, which in itself is worth its weight in gold. That membership gives you access to the private restaurants, pools and the beach. What is even nicer is that the Shaols Club gives you towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas for use at the beach, which makes packing for the beach a breeze. We had a great stay here, and would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to have a relaxing vacation in a beautiful home.

  Just returned from a week at BHI. This is a wonderful home in a great location. Keepers Landing is a great area of the island and the marsh views were incredible. The home was just as advertised, very spacious.
