WELCOME TO MY HOME
Create a memorable music city experience from the privacy of my home. It is a modern, conveniently located base for enjoying all that Nashville has to offer from downtown's music and entertainment venues, West End's Centennial park/Vanderbilt restaurants, and shopping in the Green Hill's area. You are close to it all while remaining secluded in this eclectic Sylvan park neighborhood.
Let your autos rest in a large two car garage and enter through a tile foyer with large window showcasing the picturesque city skyline...noteworthy both day and night. The remainder of the home is constructed with Russian Birch floor planks, aircraft steel, and concrete (siding and counter tops).
Enter the main living portion through a professional quality kitchen with five burner gas stove, double refridgerator, and five seat glass breakfast bar. Continue through the dining area that seats six. The open architecture flows into the living area where the view opens to include West End's Centennial park. The home was designed to highlight unobstructed views of the city regardless of where you choose to sit and visit.
The living room/den is equipped with high definition television, premium cable,WiFi, DVD, and a Bose stereo system. Video gaming capability is available upon request. It is tastefully appointed with work from regional artists and includes modest memorabilia from musicians who have performed here for private parties and recording sessions. A collection of professional quality instruments for those who enjoy entertaining themselves, and are available upon request (partially shown in photos).
A modern style half bath, barbeque balcony, and sitting balcony round out the living portion of the home. Our guests who smoke enjoy the views while relaxing in these outdoor areas.
The sleeping quarters are located below and feature a sunken master suite with king size memory foam bed in which to unwind at the end of of memorable day. The master bath is equipped with a glass enclosed shower and whirlpool tub (all with city and park views), and walkin closet. The master bedroom includes a private balcony with two seat antique style glider. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with premium cable television..
The guest bedrooms, full guest bath, laundry room, and guest balcony are located down a hallway off the master suite. The balcony includes seating and chimnea which adds a cozy touch for sharing the details of a day well spent in Nashville.
This home has a special ambiance. You will feel its smile and yours will add to its character while awaiting your return.

My family just stayed in this house this past weekend and were totally pleased. You definitely have to see it in person to appreciate all it has to offer. We had a great time and just thoroughly enjoyed the house and Rick was a super guy to rent from. I hope we can plan another trip to Nashville soon and would definitely love to stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Once again we have been blessed with the perfect guests. The home is very inviting and allows you to kind of sink into it upon arrival....ya'll did and made it your own. That is exactly what we want and are so pleased that it worked well for the things you had planned. We look forward to seeing you again...with the return guest discounting it will be that much more pleasant for you. Yay! Thanks again. Angy&Rick

My husband and I, along with my mother, father and brother stayed here over the weekend to attend a wedding. The house was just perfect for a family getaway! The decor was modern and inviting and the space was perfect for grilling and spending time sipping wine on the patio overlooking the gorgeous Nashville Skyline. Rick and Angy were so nice and went out of their way to make us feel right at home. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy a great space OR to go out - It's very conveniently located to downtown Nashville. It would also be great house for those in town for business or with families needing a little more room. All around A+++ stay! We will definitely be back. Thanks again!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: As usual, and forgive me for bragging, I have the best guests....ever. Your family enjoying the space added to the smile that the home already sports. Thanks for leaving your mark. Angy and I look forward to your treks back to Nashville and welcome you with open arms. Our best to the bride and groom....warm sunshine and cool breezes for you all.

The pictures of this house does not do it justice.. The house was amazing! The view of downtown, the setup of the house, and all the awesome architecture was absolutly perfect. I cant say enough about how much I enjoyed my trip down to Nashville for my friends bachelor party. We made great use of the sound system in the living room, as well as the awesome kitchen. Rick was the best guy I could ask for to make the trip even better. He was really great with arranging check in and out times and making sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. If you're looking for a great house for entertaining a few people, or just an awesome place to hang out for the weekend, then this is the place you should reserve!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Once again we have been blessed with marvelous guests. They treated my home with great respect while still enjoying the event. We are pleased to have had a small part in these wedding preparations....congratulations to the bride and groom. I am very appreciative of the host accolades; however, in all honesty it is Angy who usually thinks of the small things that make a difference in our guests experience while visiting our home. We look forward to your return.

What an amazing place! The pictures do not do it justice! Rick and his wife were so welcoming and wanted us to feel at home. We rented the house for one night for a Bachelorette party. We had drinks and party games plus gift opening at the house, then took a quick cab ride downtown for dinner and drinks!! The next morning we made breakfast before we left. While there were more for the gift opening, 9 of us stayed overnight and there was more than enough room. We all loved the modern funishings and fun atmosphere. I will definitely try to figure out ways to stay here in the future!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of the celebration. What a nice part to play in the upcoming nuptuals. Our warmest regards and best wishes for the new family being formed. We are also very grateful for having been blessed with great guests, thanks for your part in that.

Myself and some friends stayed at the house over the weekend for the U2 concert. It was the perfect place to hang out before the show and unwind after. This house is great for any business or pleasure in downtown Nashville. You have all the amenities without the stuffiness of the hotel and without the hassle of parking. Pull in to your own garage and shut the door behind you. It is convenient to everything downtown. You won't be disappointed. Look forward to coming back. Thanks Rick for the hospitality. - Steve (VRBO regular)Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: It was great to have such good guests for this show at the Vanderbilt stadium. Convenience to that and the venues downtown was a main reason for buying the home in the first place. I appreciate the effort they put into leaving the home in the same condition they found it and look forward to them visiting again. Based on their first visit and the referrals they give to friends, I will be happy to credit their rental fee the next time around....Yay.

My sister and I sing in a band that was booked for CMA Fest. This house was perfect for the both of us to be convieniently located to Downtown Nashville but also a nice touch away for some seclusion of the busyness of the week. We enjoyed the nightlife of Downtown with only a 5-10 taxi cab ride away and yet cooked dinner in the gorgeous kitchen of the house some evenings and enjoyed the wonderful views and the fireworks from the balcony were amazing. My son and friends enjoyed a brief stay with us and they had a great time dabbling with the enormous amount of musical instruments. We jammed a few nights and had a wonderful time! Can't wait to go back!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: We thoroughly enjoyed these guests. It was nice to have their son make use of the instruments and for them to use the equipment to leave us some nice tracks for our enjoyment. Glad it is close enough for them to be downtown when needed, but far enough away to be relaxing when that was needed too. The additions to the memorabilia are also greatly appreciated....it is even more fun to look at now. You have made some new fans in the Music City, we are anxious for your return and a chance to catch your show live. Thanks also for the referrals to others at your label....it was a very generous touch.

My last visit to this home revolved around doing nothing at all. In previous stays I have focussed on writing, practicing, and jamming with my friends and band mates. The views are quite inspiring and condusive to these activities. It is nice to not have to lug all the equipment as Rick has a pretty decent collection of instruments and equipment available on sight. This time we sat, read from a diverse collection of literature in the bookshelves, took time to look at the art and memorabilia, and went out to watch others perform for a change. It was a nice break from it all. Being a repeat visitor, Rick and Angy are flexible in the rates which is a nice touch as well. As usual, I am looking forward to staying again next time in town.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: It is wonderful to have guests who return to enjoy Nashville from my home. They begin to feel like family. We are pleased you were able to enjoy the nightlife a bit this time, it is located conveniently for eating out, going to the local venues, and shopping as well. How nice that you were able to enjoy some of the other amenities instead of focusing on performing this time. The memorabilia and art have been selected to feature local talent, of which there is plenty. Glad you enjoyed your stay, looking forward to seeing you again next time you are in town to gig.

WOW!!! What an awesome place! My girlfriend & I stayed here for a week and loved every second of it. We only had to pay for one room since it was just the two of us! The views are amazing…especially the Nashville skyline at night! And even though we’re not musicians it was fun to mess around with all of the different instruments…my favorites were the congas. This would be such a great place to have a party or family gathering. The kitchen is a chef’s dream too. Next time we come back we’re bringing a group of friends to share this incredible house with!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.
Owner response: How nice for the home to be useful to a smaller group who did not require full run of the house. The use of the musical equipment by non professionals was nice as well, a welcome touch. Can't wait for the whole family to stay and see what they can do ... perhaps a new band will emerge.

Well, I have to say that when it comes to hospitality in the South, you will love this gorgeous eclectic house and the owners, they are the best!! Beautiful house, beautiful views. We came to town to do a show in Nashville. Played music till late in the evening. What a time... A smaller version of MTV's Cribs!!! Fun times to be had by all!! We will be back...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: We always welcome thoughtful and responsible musicians and their friends, particularly true of these guests. Although flattered by the reference to cribs, I especially like it when good music is written and performed even when I am not there. I look forward to their return, and hope to be able to catch their club show next time around.
