  Stayed there for 3 weeks with 2 teenage boys. We all loved the house, quiet, comfy beds, great view and excellent location. Clean and tidy and a very helpful 'user's manual', thoughtful touches like the giant map of LA or the 'charging station'. Boys loved the DISH TV selection when relaxing. WiFi worked great. Highly recommend!

  This was the perfect spot for our family visit to our adult son and girlfriend who live in Santa Monica. It felt like home so that our son enjoyed hanging out with us while we were here. It was close to Santa Monica but more central when trying to visit touristy stuff. Not fancy inside but thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. Everything was in good condition, bedrooms were fine, family room/kitchen area were excellent. Deceptively this place is perched on top a hill with an amazing view toward West LA, Beverly HIlls (maybe LA on a clear day). Owner responsive, well-organized (lots of instructions etc. in house so didn't really need to call her), plenty of outlets for charging stuff, good wi-fi.

  We spent 5 nights with our 4 young childrens and had a wonderful time. The house is very quiet, well appointed and managed. There is plenty of space for the kids to entertain themselves including a lovelly garden.

  We stayed at Casa Girla with some friends of ours from Chicago (4 adults/3 children) and had a wonderful weeklong stay. The owners really know what they're doing. Barbara was very responsive throughout the rental process, and she quickly answered any questions we had. The house is exactly as pictured -- I would say it feels bigger than pictured, actually -- and everything is in working order. It is spacious, clean, bright, and uncluttered, and has everything you need (plenty of towels, dishes, good appliances, excellent instructions). If you do need something, they’ll help out – they brought us a screwdriver on the first night so we could put together a toddler toy. There are sweeping views of the city, including downtown and the Hollywood sign. The backyard was great -- the kids enjoyed the chalkboard and the hopscotch. We would definitely recommend this property!

  This place was awesome! We had an amazing experience, the photos represented the house perfectly and the garage was a plus. We stayed there for a work trip and this house made everything easy and fun. Barbara was so on it and everything went according to plan. Thanks Casa Girla!

  • Spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet and sunny home with astonishing views and nice yard. • Comfortable furniture and very well appointed. • Great location with many stores nearby and easy access to all major freeways and roads. • Lots of thoughtful touches (e.g. books, maps, games, shampoo, hair dryer, night lights, etc.) • The owner is very responsive and made the rental process very easy. • We will stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this home.

  We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone who wants to visit Los Angeles. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The house is centrally located & really is as colorful and charming as the photographs. The room setup is great for a family with teens or younger children too. And, there was everything one could imagine needing, plus a beautiful view to enjoy as well.

  Barbara was a nice and helpful hostess, she gave us a lot of advices and was very available! The house is really charming: big rooms, little details, a lot of convenient items, a nice and hype atmosphere; we enjoyed the space, the calm, the garden, the kitchen and we were like real "Angelinos"living on the hill;-) Our three children (21, 18, 12) were amazed too. The pictures and the description reflected the reality and we weren't surprised, all was clean and well-maintained. We only have a little advice: at the beginning we always need time to find the house, especially the second night;-), a navigation system is a must! We could recommend this property to our friends and our family. Thanks, Barbara!

  Back home after one week stay in California where we received the warmest of welcomes; I strongly recommend Casa Girla to anyone wishing to spend a magnificent break in the United States. Charming house with all mod. cons. and terrific view of L.A. What more could wish for?

  We gathered our adult children from different areas to stay with us at Casa Girla for a family wedding. The home is beautiful and very artfully and comfortably furnished. We immediately felt completely at home and everything was provided to cook meals, relax and enjoy our family. The beds are wonderful and the home is beautifully maintained. The lovely landscaping and fabulous view added to our pleasure. We have travelled extensively, and this was our best experience for accomodations ever!
