  My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this "charming cottage" in Pacific Grove. We were able to enjoy walking to breakfast and dinner as well as to the movie theatre. We also brought our bikes and rode the easy two blocks down to the water front. Riding along the designated bike paths was such a treat for the kids. We were able to ride to Cannery Row and take in the sites as well. The location is great to take advantage of the surrounding areas. We drove down to Big Sur for some hiking and fun exploration. The accommodations are all that we needed. A clean comfortable place to come back to after a fun day out and about. The beds were very comfortable. The kids took turns sleeping on the air mattress. They loved it. Thank you John and Michele for making our stay enjoyable. This was a last minute decision for spring break and it ended up being one of our favorite vacations. We will definitely be back. Cheers!

  We rented this cottage for our few days during the ATT golf tournament. It was very comfortable and the location convenient. You can walk into town for a meal or shopping. We walked to Lovers Point and Cannery Row. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. We would definitely return for our next visit to Pacific Grove.

  My family of 5 loved our stay at the cottage. This beautiful home provided us with everything we wanted and more. The home is spacious and spotless. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, and my teenagers were thrilled with the aquarium passes. Because we were fortunate to have three days of gorgeous weather, we were also able to enjoy the lovely patio as well as the delightful front porch on each sunny day! The location of the cottage is perfect. We walked and rode our bikes everywhere - including a memorable bike ride on the 17 Mile Drive. Thank you for welcoming us into your lovely home!

  Great cottage and amazing location! Walking distance to great restaurants, shops and even a movie theater in Pacific Grove. The cottage is nicely remodeled with lovely decor and nice furnishings. Both bedrooms are good size and is perfect for two couples as you each essentially have your own bathroom. The bedrooms are also separated by the living area for added privacy. The kitchen is compact, but well-equipped. Although we didn't get to use it, the deck and backyard are very nice and would be a great place to BBQ in better weather. The two aquarium passes are also an added bonus!

  My husband, son & daughter-in-law, and me stayed here for 4 nights. We all loved the cottage. It was bright, clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. Having 2 bathrooms is a great asset when you have four adults all trying to get ready for the day. Bedrooms are large and beds are very comfy. Plenty of room in the lounge and dining area, and the kitchen was fully equiped. A cute garden with seating and parking offstreet completed what turned out to be a great vacation home. In fact, as a previous reviewer has written, the pictures do not really do the cottage justice. The cottage was just a stones throw from the ocean, local shops & great places to eat. Monterey aquarium is only a short walk away and the entry passes provided by the owners were much appreciated. The owners were helpful and there were lots of information leaflets about local spots to eat and places to visit in Pacific Grove and surrounding area. We chose Pacific Grove over Monterey itself as we thought life there would be a little slower and more relaxing, which proved to be the case and we all loved it. As well as the Aquarium in nearby Monterey, there are also lots of boats offering Whale watching trips. We didn't see any Whales but we did see a pod of Dolphins with some babies so it was worth the 3 hours we spent looking for them. Also, the boat company that we used gave out vouchers for another (free) trip, that had no end date and that were transferable if they couldn't find Whales for you, meaning that if you (or anyone you know) are lucky enough to holiday in the area again, you can have a second try. I would recommend this property to anyone, I don't think we could have found anything else that suited us so well. A great time was had by us all.

  We spent 3 nights in this charming cottage and loved it! The location in the heart of downtown Pacific Grove is close to everything - the beach, the Aquarium (2 free passes were provided), restaurants, a bakery and other shops. In fact, we didn't use the car at all, walked to everything, even the 17 Miles drive! The house was very clean, well equipped and we were greeted with a bottle of wine upon arrival! The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has plenty of dishes and utensils. We especially loved the cozy little backyard for a quiet breakfast. Overall a gem and I'd recommend it to everybody, even better than the pictures show.

  My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. This cottage was the perfect choice for us. It is right on the main street, just steps from the restaurants, shops and stores. The ocean access is a block and a half away, too! The neighborhood is fun to walk around as well, with charming cottages and lovely large homes to see. The house itself is decorated tastefully and charmingly, with a nice sized kitchen, a full sized refrigerator (not that we used it, the restaurants are divine!), and each bedroom was large and inviting. Having 2 baths is wonderful for a family! This place is absolutely ideal for a get-away, and my only hesitation in recommending it is that it won't be available the next time I want to use it! Neat, immaculate, with modern furniture, a nice TV, dining room, hardwood flooring, and location location location!

  We just returned from a five night stay in this cottage. It was perfect. Owners were very easy to deal with, everything went off as planned. Upon our arrival we were greated by a family of deer. Every morning our three teenage sons would wake up early, grab binoculars and walk over to the bay to watch the wild life. Sea Otters and Harbor Seals all around. As for the cottage it is fully stocked with all you need. Comfortable bedding, games for family nights and kitchen great for cooking. We walked to the movies across the street, coffee shop next door and restaurants a stroll away. Aquarium, warf, downtown all easy drive. ALL IN ALL WE LOVED IT! IT'S A GEM ;)

  Excellent location. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The owners were EXTREMELY helpful and offered great suggestions as to where to go/what to see/where to eat in the area. We hope to return.

  Our house is being remodeled, so our life has been chaotic for 6 weeks. I feel fortunate to have found the Copher's house in P.G.! I have stayed in P.G. a dozen or so times, but never have I felt as comfortable as I did while in this little place on 12th and Lighthouse. The location is PERFECT! 3 blocks from the beach, right down the street from downtown P.G. and a block from what is now my favorite coffee shop in the monterey area! Michele was wonderful to deal with. Easy to communicate with and set the house up for us with a very personal touch! The house is so charming. Ikea stuff galore, simple but so pretty and the back deck was awesome! We had deer in the front and otters in the back of us all week! We are hoping that the Copher's don't retire in the near future and allow us to return once a year! It was a perfect place to stay in P.G.!
