Walk through history

A wander down through the 5-mile historical town trail brings you past a fascinating museum, the old Athenaeum movie theater, a long-standing cemetery and the 19th-century Sorrento Park, along with many other historical buildings. Any season is a good season

During the summer months between December and January, families descend upon the town for the holidays. Be warned, the temperature around this time can soar and is best spent in and around the water. A more comfortable and quieter time to visit is during fall between March and May.
