Our family of four stayed at this property over Easter weekend. We have stayed in downtown Denver hotels numerous times. This time we were seeking more privacy and space. This house was perfect for us and our small children: clean, comfortable, open floor plan with updated kitchen, three private bedrooms, and a beautiful fenced backyard. The off street parking was a plus. The location can't beat beat. It provided easy access for our visits to the children's museum, downtown, Cherry Creek mall, and Ikea. We took advantage of the numerous take-out dining options within close proximity. Without hesitation we would recommend this property when visiting Denver. Kym obviously takes pride in this home and it shows!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Our family of four spent Easter weekend at this charming property. After numerous hotel stays in downtown Denver, we wanted more space and privacy. It was perfect for two adults with small child: clean and comfortable, three private bedrooms, open floor plan with updated kitchen, and a beautiful fenced backyard. The private, off street parking was a plus. The location can't be beat - perfect for our visits to the children's museum, downtown, Cherry Creek mall, and IKEA. We took advantage of the variety of take-out dining options within close proximity. Everything was as advertised. Without hesitation we would recommend this property to anyone while visiting Denver. Kym obviously takes pride in this home and it shows!Owner response: I appreciate you taking the time to post your review about your stay at my vacation rental in Denver. Renting a home definitely has it's advantages over staying at a hotel. I'm glad you were able to enjoy everything and I hope to welcome you back again in the future.

The first thing my wife noticed was how clean the home smelled as we opened the door. She was also very satisfied as to how well it was stocked. Adequate dishes and cooking utensils. As she said" you can tell a woman set this place up. Location is convienant to all of Denver. Location was private and very quite. We look forward to renting during our regular visits to Denver.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.
Owner response: It was great to hear how convenient my home was to your family and new grandchild and that everything was up to your standards. I look forward to having you stay at my home when you come for a visit in the fall.

Thank you for a great stay... we had a wonderful time staying at your house. It was so comfortable, perfect location and really made for a fun trip for my family and I. We are actually moving out to Denver, and looking to move into the highlands/sloans neighborhood so it was great to spend some more time in the neighorhood while we're looking to live in.Did you find this review helpful? What a great little house! We had everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen which helped as I cooked in most nights. Its the perfect location to enjoy great day trips in the area. Definitely walking distance to shops and cafes if you dont get dumped on by a spring snow storm!! We especially enjoyed the nice little fenced in area in the back on the nicer days!! Nicely decorated with a modern flair but so enjoyed the old charm! We look forward to staying again!! Thanks KymRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This Bungalow is warm, comfortable, and well-maintained. The amenities (like shampoo, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent) were unexpected, but greatly appreciated. We had a wonderful stay near family who live in Denver. It was our granddaughter's first Christmas, and Denver had fantastic lights and decorations to show her. The light show at the Denver zoo was spectacular. We hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Great location and wonderful house! Sports Authority stadium is just a short walk away and we saved $75+ in parking by walking down there. The house has everything you need, including gaming systems in the basement to keep the boys busy while the ladies can sit outside in the nice patio area and chat. Enjoyed our stay and will be sure to book again next time!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We had a very nice stay in this home. It was comfortable and had a very nice backyard with a covered area with outdoor furniture and a grill. The kitchen was nice and had all the tools necessary to put together a meal. It was very convenient to downtown and the neighborhood seemed safe and quiet. The owner was responsive and easy to deal with. The only two small drawbacks are the single bathroom and the fact that it's an older place with creaky floors and doors. Hard to get around quietly after the others have gone to bed, but really isn't that big of a deal and the noise from outside was not a problem at all. All in all, a very nice place. KRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you for posting your review. I'm glad we were able to accommodate your last minute booking! Yes, this is a 1900 bungalow with original (refinished) wood floors! Sometimes keeping some of the best features of a home built so long ago comes with a few creaks! LOL! Hope to have you again in the future.

About the owner: Designer/Owner of The Gipsy Bag (high end fashionable handbag organizers for women), Love to travel the world learning about new cultures, architecture and meeting new people. Enjoy outdoor activities, working out, and trying new restaurants.
Why the Owner Chose Denver:
Grew up in Denver, but the beach was calling my name, so moved to sunny Southern California. Frequently travel to Denver to visit family and decided it would be great to have a charming bungalow in this sought after up and coming neighborhood. Next to downtown, all major sporting events, and easy access to the major freeways for traveling to the mountains or other popular spots throughout the State.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
With the home's central location we are able to enjoy biking, walking, running, shopping, dining, seeing sports event or concerts without ever getting in the car if we don't want to..
We enjoy driving to Boulder, Estes Park, and of course, the mountains for hiking, biking, skiing, etc. We also like going to Red Rocks just 20 minutes away for hiking or taking in a concert.
