Three of us stayed at the house while we attended a nearby knitting workshop. The house is lovely, clean and nicely appointed, quite comfortable for three ladies. The house location is convenient for walking to the grocery store, coffee shop and several restaurants. Parking on the street is allowed, but a caution to out of towers, to be sure of exceptions that will result in a parking ticket, park in the back, it is much easier! The owner was very helpful and prompt in resolving any questions we had during our stay.

Manager response: Thank you Jean for posting a review of your recent stay. I'm glad the house and location worked out well for you and your friends. And, yes, guests need to check for city street signs when parking on the street. I agree, parking in the back of the home where we have a 2 car space is much better!
Stayed here with a group of guys during GABF week instead of getting a couple hotells downtown. It ended up being much cheaper, and we had room to hang out. We took advantage of the nice backyard and seating area while we were there. The sleeping arrangements are fine, as long as you don't mind sharing the queen beds. I would recommend staying here with a small group of people, while visiting Denver. We were even able to walk to some of the local breweries, Prost and Denver Beer Company. You could walk downtown if you wanted to, but it was a pretty cheap cab ride. If you wanted to go to the Broncos game this is a perfect location, because the stadium is right down the block. Excellent place, and we will stay here again.

I would definitely do this again and recommend this property to anyone traveling to Denver. It was clean and comfortable. Great to be able to eat meals in and just relax. Close to many attractions. The owner was very accommodating and answered any questions immediately. I have family living in Denver and this house was great. Thanks, Kym

Family with lap dogs
We had an excellent experience at this vacation home rental. Kym gives very accurate description of home along with accurate pictures. The home is nice, clean, and very updated. It was great to have kitchen so that we could eat in when needed. It had well enough space for our 5 adults and our lap dogs. We really enjoyed having a pet friendly home. This home was perfect for our family as all of our activities were within 30-45 drive for us. It was nice to have off-street parking out back as well. It's also located in nice, well maintained residental area with great sidewalks and streets. Kym was easy to work with and very efficient with her replies. She made sure we were provided with all of the information we needed. There are restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 minute drive. This is our second experience renting vacation homes and really enjoy them over hotels. I have family in Denver area and plan to rent this house during our next visit.

Manager response: Glad to hear the home was conveniently located to everything you wanted to do in Denver and out the outlying areas. Having quick and easy freeway access to just about everything was one thing that attracted us to that area. Especially being next to Downtown, all the sports stadiums, etc. I'm pleased to know the home worked out for your family (including pets). Hope to welcome you again in the future.

Great Area, Gorgeous Home
Great Area, Gorgeous Home
My family stayed on a recent visit to see my sister. The owner was so helpful and very accomodating considering we were coming from PA. The house looked like the pictures for the most part, the "man cave" was a bit smaller than I anticipated however we spent very little time down there. The owner was available by email as my sister did send her a few messages. The home was clean however towards the end of the visit ants did begin to appear in the kitchen (possible due to the weather?) It was really close to Bronco's stadium and Sloane Lake. Very short drive to the airport and close to I-70 which we used quite frequently. This is a great place for those on the go, and families. Very close to the local supermarket which was quite helpful due to forgetting things and purchasing food. We walked there every morning for breakfast. It was 20 min from the Colorado Railroad Museum, and about an hour drive to Roxboro State park which was amazingly beautiful! We did not get to go but it's also a short drive to Red Rocks. I would def recommend this to a friend to stay if they were planning a trip much more comfortable than staying at a local hotel and also closer and more affordable. We would have loved another bathroom but that's just being picky. Again the owner was so easy to work with and seemed like a genuinely nice person. We had an AMAZING trip!

Manager response: I always appreciate the responses from my quest, so thank you for your input. Yes, those pesky ants can come out during the summer when it's really hot out there. There should have been ant spray in the laundry room for you to use. The "man cave" area is definitely on the smaller size, but cozy for sure! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at my bungalow and the area. Denver has so much to offer and it sounds like you sure took advantage of that!
great accommodations and location

My family (4 adults) recently stayed here for 3 nights. The house is much larger inside than it looks in the picture. Great area outside for entertaining or just hanging out. We also enjoyed the porch in the front. Would definitely recommend this for a group of 4-6 and will likely be a repeat customer!

Manager response: Thank you for posting a review of your recent stay. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the backyard entertaining area. I love sitting on the front porch as well, especially in the mornings while drinking my coffee! I look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
We really enjoyed our time at the Highland's Bungalow. The home was very clean, well kept, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for my family of 6 to stay while they were in town celebrating a graduation. We enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen and relaxed in the back yard in the evenings using the patio furniture and grill. The beach cruisers were great for bike rides around the neighborhood and nearby Sloan's lake. We recommend this bungalow to anyone looking for a nice place to stay during their visit to Denver.

Grew up in Denver, but the beach was calling my name, so moved to sunny Southern California. Frequently travel to Denver to visit family and decided it would be great to have a charming bungalow in this sought after up and coming neighborhood. Next to downtown, all major sporting events, and easy access to the major freeways for traveling to the mountains or other popular spots throughout the State.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
With the home's central location we are able to enjoy biking, walking, running, shopping, dining, seeing sports event or concerts without ever getting in the car if we don't want to.. We enjoy driving to Boulder, Estes Park, and of course, the mountains for hiking, biking, skiing, etc. We also like going to Red Rocks just 20 minutes away for hiking or taking in a concert.
