I wanted to let you know again that we had a great time at the house. There are few times where the place you stay is more memorable than the location, but the China Mountain House is one of them.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We so enjoyed staying in your fabulous house. I hope that one day our paths will cross again. Maybe in London or even down in Devon. Thank you for making our time in Oregon so memorable. We did everything you suggested and loved it all. The highlights of our American trip were eating at The French Laundry and staying at your house!Did you find this review helpful? Although the photos of China Mountain House are striking, they do not convey how lovely this home truly is. There are views from every window which give one the sense of being part of the natural environment. It's a great house from which to watch the changes of weather, and the panoramic views of the coastline are breath taking. The interior of the house is bright and airy. Every amenity is present. We felt fortunate Jennifer and Gary agreed to share their beautiful home with us.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our second stay at CMH. We love it, it is secluded but not desolate. The modern feel on the coast is what we are looking for. Bring your iPod and favorite DVD's the audio/video gear rocks. They also have a nice selection of DVD's and CD's. We'll be back, if you'll have us!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We're extremely picky and have a difficult time finding places that meet our expectations for style + value but this house did not disappoint. We were primarily looking for something close to Bandon Dunes that would afford privacy and spectacular ocean views. The website photos are fantastic but the real deal is impossible to portray in a snapshot. Sure the house looks fantastic but you will not believe how good it feels. You'll be plotting your return before you leave!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

WWWOOOOWWWW!!!!!! I'm so often disappointed when I see a property having originally finding it on the internet. As great as your pictures were, your house well exceeded my expectations. This is a first for me. We truly enjoyed our stay and we WILL be returning.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I just wanted to say how much Stan and I 'LOVED' staying at China Mountain House, it was 'better-than-excellent'. What a wonderful place you have created, it was quite special for us and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there. After departing, we continued our trip by cycling in Oregon from around Ashland to Crater lake to Bend on the Cascade highway, tough cycling but wow, what a beautiful state. Incredible. Again, thank you for opening your home to us and we'll be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We loved the house and the open design was just fantastic. We spent lots of time with our dog on the beach and also ran up the fire road (China Mountain) – quite an uphill run! And of course the views were outstanding.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
