Welcome to "Blue Bayou"... your home-away-from-home (only without the worries). This beautifully-decorated, soundfront unit with wonderful sound, ocean, and pool views has everything you need to make your stay wonderful. The beach chairs, beach games, kitchen gadgets, etc. are all included. All that is missing is you! You have to see this one to believe it.
The reverse floor plan offers two bedrooms on the first level, both with access to back decks overlooking the breathtaking sunsets of the sound. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with TV, alarm, large walk-in closets, and huge bath featuring a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower combination. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed. The upper level affords the best view of the ocean or the sound, as well as star gazing with the unit's own telescope.
The living room has hardwood floors and offers a pull-out sofa for an additional sleeping area. The dining room comfortably enables seating for six. A washer and dryer are included, as well as a grill and an extra freezer. A private community pool is directly in front of the unit and a private ocean walkway to a secluded beach is directly across the street.
What is there to do on Topsail Island? Everything or nothing, and that is what keeps people coming back. You can spend your days lying in the sun or hunting the beach for your own private treasure. In August, September, and October, you can watch the stars as you "baby sit" a turtle nest that is ready to hatch. Whatever you choose, there is something magical about Topsail Island and "Blue Bayou" that keep you coming back!

For our first visit to Topsail Island, me and my husband, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and niece rented this lovely townhouse. As soon as we walked in we felt it would be a great week! The place is very clean, and tastefully decorated in beach decor and colors. The beds were comfy, too! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out without feeling crowded. We spent a lot of morning and evening time on the front and back top decks. Use of the pool was a welcome relief from the beach one very windy day! The walk to the beach bath was quick and simple and at the end of that path was the sand! It only took a minute to get there! The owners were kind and very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend renting this townhouse. We ate at Rick's and really enjoyed the great food and fun atmosphere. Island Delights was another place we would recommend for great burgers. There is a much to do on Topsail if you desire, but we went to relax - and that we did! We all hope we can go back to Blue Bayou sometime soon! Thank you, Jack!

Jack and Heather's townhome is a great place to stay in the peaceful, residential community of Topsail Island. From the back deck you can watch the beautiful birds of the sound. This home is just a few steps to a mostly vacant beach. There is plently of room for a family of four and it is always clean and well managed. The pool is a nice addition to a summer getaway at the beach when you want a change from the sand and surf. We love to stay here. This summer will be our third visit. We love hanging out at the beach or kayaking in the sound. The local seafood is amazing! The atmosphere is perfect inside and out. The people in this community have been extremely polite and friendly during both of our visits. The owners are great people too! I highly recommend "Blue Bayou"!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
