The perfect beach house!

We had a great time here. We used the bedrooms and the futon in the 2nd floor living area. The bathrooms and showers are fantastic. The pool was a great size for playing with kids. Elevator was very convenient in a 3 story house. Enjoyed biking and walking through the plantation and getting seafood and icecream in town.Only con is it isn’t a straight shot to the beach, but it isn’t that far. Those staying in the upstairs bedroom said the water didn’t get hot, but on the 2nd floor and kitchen we had no issues.

Our experience renting Back To The Beach was excellent in every respect. Wendy, the owner, was great to work with. Communication was very proactive and detailed both in advance of and during our stay. We had 4 adults and 2 young children and the layout of the house was perfect for us. The house is located on a quite nice large shaded lot across the street from the beach, with very good views and easy short walking access to the beach. Additionally, the owners really want to make their guests stay as enjoyable as possible and provide beach chairs, a beach wagon, bicycles, etc., all of which were in very good condition. We had stayed at St. George Island many times, but this was our first time in the Plantation; the Plantation is more scenic, much more private and better maintained than the rest of the Island which is still quite nice in itself. Bottomline, our experience in renting Back To The Beach was excellent in every respect.

We loved this house! Lots of beds. Lots of space. The house was probably the cleanest rental I ever been in and very well stocked. The location was great. I especially loved the downstairs screened area. Would stay again.

My husband and I absolutely loved this home! Jim was very easy to work with. I have no complaints. The house is in a great location. It is just a short walk to beach. It was well equipped, beautifully furnished and decorated. Most importantly, it was clean! Thanks for allowing us into your home! Given the opportunity, we will definitely be back next summer! If you like a lazy beach week, this is the place to be. St. George Island is wonderful for taking in the beauty of nature, the quietness of a secluded beach, and genuine quality time with your traveling peeps.Add “Vitamin Sea” to your trip and you’ll have everything you need. Steps to the beach or pool. You can take in amazing views from the covered porches. (My favorite time is in the morning when you can see A LOT of dolphins).The house is equipped with everything you need, and has lots of cabinet and pantry space!! We had a few raining days and enjoyed the large living spaces to hang out and play games. The management company was always prompt in answering any question that I had. We are ready to book again!

We loved our visit to SGI and this wonderful cottage on the beach. We would definitely return.

Loved the dog friendliness, pool, and convenience to the beach. Appreciated the beach cruisers and wagon. Kids enjoyed the bunk room and play room.
