Beautifully furnished, five bedroom, single-level home with mountain views and views of ponds. There is a seasonal creek that runs along the backyard. Estes Park is a little 'slice of heaven' and we have created a comfortable, warm home to enjoy with your family and friends. The home is laid out so that there is nice separation when desired - three bedrooms and the living room on one end of the house and two bedrooms and the family room on the other end of the house with the kitchen and dining room in-between.
The family room has two leather sofas, another sofa, a large leather ottoman, and a big screen TV and DVD/VCR. The dining room table has 2 large leaves and expands to 144 inches. Wireless Internet.
The kitchen is has new maple cabinets, granite countertop, a beautiful wood floor, and table for enjoying coffee and those late night card games. The multi-tiered deck has new patio furniture for taking in the beautiful Rocky Mountain sky, mountains, and surroundings while listening to the seasonal babbling creek and a grill large enough to cook steaks and veggies at the same time.
The living room has a 27 inch TV, DVD/VCR, Stereo, Log twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath and another comfy twin daybed sofa (and views of the mountains).
The large master bedroom, 'Trees,' has a King Log bed and a TV w/ttached bath.
Bedroom two, 'Horses,' is the 'kids' room complete with two sets of bunkbeds, a TV, and PlayStation.
Bedroom three, 'American Flag,' has a King Log bed.
The other side of the house:
Bedroom four, 'Bears,' has a Queen Log bed and a set of bunkbeds.
Bedroom five, 'Moose,' has a King Log bed.
All of this and more makes for a relaxing and rejuvenating home to enjoy with family and friends.
New paved bike trail across the road! You can ride your bike to the the golf course, around the lake, downtown, and out towards Rocky Mountain National Park all on the paved bike trail.

Nestled in the Colorado Rocky Mountains...
The VRBO Bear stayed in this Fabulous home in the town of Estes Park, Colorado. The home has five bedrooms and three baths... Spacious and perfect for a large family! The views of the mountains from this home are incredible. The kitchen is modern and fully-equipped for the chef in the family. There are two living areas... The living room AND a family room with a big screen TV. This home is awesome!
Estes Park is full of fun activities and the Rocky Mountain National Park is also close by. Come and enjoy the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains!
Signed, VRBO Bear

Your home was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. There was plenty of room for the six adults and four children. We loved the fenced in back yard. It allowed us to let the children play outside while we would get ready for the day's events. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of space for the families to be separate or enjoy time together. The dining room was plenty big for all of us to sit together for our main meals. The kitchen table was a gathering spot for early morning conversations. The decks were beautiful and we found ourselves spending quite a bit of time outside. We were even able to have a picnic outside. It would have been nice to have the deck chairs available since the weather was so mild. Our son lives in Broomfield...the reason for our visit. He loved visiting and showing us around Estes Park. It was exciting watching the Elk in Estes. The weather was beautiful (70 on two different days). Thank you so much for the use of your home. It made our visit a wonderful vacation! Our only negative was that the hot water didn't seem to last long enough. We had to plan our hot water usage around each other.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy you enjoyed our home. We will have the water heater checked out.

A destination wedding brought us to Estes Park and a stay at this wonderful property. The layout of the home with the two "sides" fit our multiple families’ needs perfectly. We had LOTS of room and we were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here any time of year. The home is located in a private, quiet setting, but close to town and all of the activities offered in Estes Park. We had a great stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are glad you enjoyed our home. Please come back again.

We had a wonderful time and the house was all it was advertised to be. It was very clean, the kitchen was full and fully stocked, and the heating and hot water were easily regulated and very adequate. All four couples were more than happy with the accommodations. Thanks for providing what you said you would.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just had a wonderful 3 day visit to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The property was just as described -- a split house - 3 bedrooms on one side and 2 bedrooms on the other side. There were 2 living rooms and a great kitchen. The two decks outside were great for us to sit on and enjoy the scenery and nice weather. It was great to take walks in the morning and evening with our 3 year old granddaughter and see the elk and deer right across the street. The house was right along the lake and there were no traffic issues --- a big deal considering all the traffic that was in the downtown area due to the Elk Fest. We have been to Estes Park and stayed in hotels before --- renting this house was the way to go! It was very comfortable and just a nice place to come back to and relax at the end of very busy days. The kitchen was well stocked - plenty of plates and dishes, soap, trash bags. Having the kitchen, dishwasher, and laundry was great! We will definitely use this property again when we return to Colorado in the future. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Estes Park to consider this property. It was in a private neighborhood and just a great place to relax.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property with Grandma, 4 of our grown children and 3 grandchildren and could not have asked for a better layout. With bedrooms on both ends of the house we were able to have a "quiet side" and a louder side and not disturb babies napping. Loved the 2 decks on the outside and the easy access to the trail across the street for strolls and running. We will choose this property again.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your time. It is a good set up for family gatherings. Hope to see you again!

This home has plenty of space for families coming together who would like the room to spread out a bit. The two living rooms were really nice as the kids could relax and watch a movie while the adults were in the other living room. On the down side, the exterior landscaping was in dire need of some upkeep, and there were a handful of chairs on one of the decks that were unusable due to tears in the seats. That being said, this house offers great space and plenty of room for your dollar, and you're close to downtown Estes and Fish Creek Trail which you can pick up right across the street.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feed back. We will keep your ideas in mind. We just put in a brand new deck with new chairs, and have some plans for landscaping. However, the rustic/natural style is the norm here in Estes. Hope to see you back in the future!

We had a great time staying at this house. We had a big group (8 adults and 7 kids ages 10-19 yrs old). There was plenty of space for all of us! The pictures and description of the property are right on- we really enjoyed the new deck and spent most of our time out there. It was also nice having the walking trail right out the front door and the views of the mountains were great! We are already talking about returning next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hope to see you again next year!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this home and now I've experienced winter and summer. It's a wonderful home with all the ammenities and close to all the action in Estes Park. You can have lots of people but still have privacy because it is so large. If you want a view out your backdoor, look somewhere else. But the stars and comforts of this home make it ideal for a multi-family or family and friends getaway. You will enjoy it, promise!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We are glad that you came back and had a good time!
