This 350 square feet one bedroom apartment has been completely renovated in January 2004. It is on the first floor (2nd american floor) of a very nice 17th-century building with beams, stones, and magnificent Venetian stairway. Spacious and comfortable, it is also very quiet thanks to its own private courtyard.
This apartment has also been designed to give you the maximum comfort.

It features state-of the art brand new decoration, electrical appliances, and the best bed you can ever dream to sleep on: the great swedish Tempur Pedic® mattress system. The best comfort for sleep and for sensitive spines. Give it a try!

It is located on rue de la Huchette, one the nicest and typical pedestrian streets of the Latin Quarter. It is a three-minute walk to Notre Dame and the Seine River.

It is a very quiet place, perfect for resting and enjoying the most lively and typical area of Paris. The studio is centrally located and close to public transportation, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, churches, bakeries, and banks.

The apartment features a nice living room with sofa bed, a separate bedroom with mezzanine (queen-size bed), and single bed below for a fifth person. It has TV, VCR, stereo, telephone, and air conditioning. The full kitchen features a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and washer/drying machine. Full bathroom. All linen, cookware, and kitchen utensils are included. Free cleaning service once per week.

History of the Latin Quarter: In the Heart of "Quartier Latin" and very near to St Germain des Prés, The Rue de la Huchette is a typical narrow and lively street, with book shops, cafes, and many restaurants. It leads to Quai St Michel.

Two churches, Saint-Séverin (1489-94), Gothic and humble, and Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre (1165 - 1220), which belongs to the transitional period between the Romanesque and the Gothic, rise from the tangle of streets. The square in front of the church offers one of the finest views of Notre-Dame de Paris. Home since the 13th century of the Sorbonne, the Quarter has come to evoke bookish Bohemians scribbling works in-progress in attic apartments and corner cafes.

The apartment stands in the Heart of the Latin Quarter, four minutes away from St Michel station and a three-minute walk to Notre Dame and the Seine River. Most demanded and visited area in Paris by foreign visitors, the Latin Quarter also houses the most typical and nicest apartments in the Heart of the French Capital.

  • We truly enjoyed our stay at the Huchette apartment. What an amazing location! We walked everywhere from the spot with our 5 and 7 year olds and they never complained. We loved the scene outside our door with the restaurants and vendors, yet it was quiet in the apartment for resting. And our kids adored the loft in the apartment. They thought it was their special Paris clubhouse. We had a great, great time and would recommend renting the place to family and friends.

  • I stayed for a month in the Huchette apartment in January 2009. It's the second time that I've rented from Pascal, and I can't say enough good things about his listings. There are NO surprises and he's great to work with. The Huchette apartment is in the middle of everything. In about three minutes a fast walker can be in Notre Dame, and you're only about two minutes from the St. Michel Metro stop. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. I was surprised to find free wifi and telephone service back to the states, which wasn't even advertised! There's also a Monoprix just a five minute walk away, so you can easily save money by eating in for one of your daily meals. I wish I were back there now.

  • The Rue de la Huchette apartment is the find of the century! It is located dead center of everything- less than 100 yards from the Seine and 200 from Notre Dame. It is on a busy, hip, happening alley, but back in the apartment it is oh-so-quiet. You have comfortable beds for four (we stayed there with our 8 and 10-year old daughters for nine days), laundry in the apartment, a very workable kitchen, WiFim TV, the works. We were able to hit the Paris sights hard, then be home in time to relax and save money making meals. Pascal and Christian were VERY helpful with ideas and responses to our needs. Stay there- you won't regret it!

  • This apartment is a real find. Perfectly situated on a busy street, the unit itself is extremely quiet. The beds are very comfortable, and having a washing machine with a dryer was a surprise bonus. Don't be turned off by the building's hallway the first time you get there, as the pillars date back to Louis XIII. Pascal and Christian are extremely helpful should you need anything

  • We had the most wonderful stay in Paris at Rue de la Huchette. The apartment was clean and neat, it is located in a vibrant area close to many jazz bars, restaurants and cafes. It is a moments walk to the Seine and Notre Dame and the Metro is a few minutes walk away. We would love to return to Paris and would stay in the same apartment again. Thankyou Pascal.

  • I agree with all of the positive comments about Pascal and Christian. Our stay at 11 Rue de la Huchette went to our complete expectation. The rooms were neat and quiet. No problems with the amenities. Unbelievably central location. Great people to work with.
