Twelve mile Grace Bay Beach was voted #1 beach in the WORLD by "Conde Nast Traveler Magazine". It's white, powdery beaches & sparkling turquoise waters will take your breath away. TCI has the third largest coral reef system in the world and was voted best snorkeling site by "Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine" readers. This destination is perfect for beach lovers, scuba divers, snorkelers, golfers, couples and families alike.
The Royal West Indies Resort is located on the northern shores of Grace Bay Beach on the island of Providenciales, just 20 minutes from the airport. It is an elegant beachfront property consisting of eight, three story buildings with British Colonial design. It has two pools with kiddie area, bridge, gazebo, jacuzzi, water falls and private dipping areas. Known for the most beautiful landscaping in the country, walking through the property is like touring a botanical garden, at every turn there is a glorious sight or smell. You have complimentary use of hobie cats, kayaks and bicycles. The front desk has a computer and lending library with books and DVD's. The Pelican Bay on-site restaurant & bar offers a friendly and inviting gathering place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Their diverse menu features local Caribbean, European and Asian inspired dishes. Bar service is also available at the beach & pools.
The Queen Ann Suite offers easy, elegant caribbean living at an excellent price. This first floor, end unit consists of 1,004 square feet and has a great location in building 2, just steps to the beach and pool. From the patio you have incredible views of the ocean & gardens. The suite is tastefully decorated with custom furniture and fabrics. The living room has a 40" flat screen TV and large sectional sofa which pulls out to sleep 2 more guests. Twelve foot sliding glass doors open to a covered, wrap-around tiled patio with eycalyptus furniture. The suite also features a fully appointed kitchen with granite breakfast bar, dining area and laundry. The master bedroom is bright and airy with king size bed, caribbean shutters and flat screen TV. You have no resort check-in lines and can be on the beach one hour after arrival.
Within walking distance is shopping, restaurants, nightlife and the new gourmet IGA supermarket. For the vacationers that feel lucky the Casablanca Casino is a 2 minute walk and nearby is Provo's Golf Course & Country Club with 18 holes, driving range and tennis courts. The course is owned by the water company, so the greens are pristine. The owners will supply their recommendations for car rentals, restaurants & excursions. My husband, Fred and I had so much in common, like the love of travel. Our first trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands we fell in love with the white powdered beaches, turquoise waters and friendly people. What an incredible island! We scheduled an appointment with a local realtor and after one day of viewing properties, we wanted to make an offer on a one bedroom condo at The Royal West Indies Resort. The resort was only 3 years old and absolutely gorgeous. The architecture, grounds, beach and of course the condo, WOW! Ralph Finkle was our low key agent and said there was no rush but I, (Ann) being a realtor wanted to sign immediately. The next day at the pool, we started the process of purchasing the vacation home of our dreams. Three and a half years later (7/7/07) with over 90 guests attending, we were married on the beach in front of the Royal West Indies Resort. We open our doors to you so you may experience the Turks & Caicos Islands we fell in love with!

This is a long overdue review from my stay in August of 2011. Anyway, Fred and Ann's condo was absolutely perfect in every way. From the fully stocked kitchen to the decor to the location, I want to thank Fred and Ann for letting me stay here. Our 10-month old was with us so it was important to have easy access to and from the condo to the beach. It is literally seconds from the beach and the pool!! It was perfect. The staff at RWI was great as well. Location is also a key point on this condo as the complex is walking distance to a bakery and a quick bike ride to grocery store and restaurants. Everything from the beach to the condo was perfect. Lastly, Fred and Add's wide selection of beach toys and snorkel gear is icing on the cake!! Without a doubt, we will be back!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved this island, complex and condo. From the pictures of the actual building that Fred and Ann's condo is in you can't tell that the beach is right there. You actually have a great view from their condo's patio - just a wonderful quiet location but near everything. Absolutely agree with the previous review, Royal West has the best location and most beautiful grounds on the island. We also visited a few other complexes and were also convinced we picked the best. We loved this spot so much, we are going back again next year (2012). Thanks for sharing your place Ann and Fred.

Hi Ann, Thank you so much for allowing us to use your condo. We had a fabulous time. Linda and I travel to a different island every Feb. By far, we both agree this was the best. The condo was very clean, large, comfortable, and in a very good spot in the resort. We met some people who were staying in the hotel rooms. Our spot was much nicer and had good value. We liked having the kitchen to prepare breakfast and snacks. Royal West has the best location and most beautiful grounds on the island in my opinion. Hi Ann & Fred. The condo was gorgeous and all the extra ammenities that you put into the unit were wonderful (i.e-blender, coffee pot, nice cookware/untensils, dish/laundry detergent). The unit was so well-equiped, so nicely decorated and leaving us a pay cell phone was so thoughtful. The snorkeling gear & rafts were a definite bonus! We really enjoyed our honeymoon and are looking forward to booking another trip! Thank you!

Hi Ann, I was so pleased with our entire experience with our stay at the Royal West Indies Resort. Your unit was just perfect in every way. We can't stop talking about it with family and friends. We will certainly return when the opportunity presents itself to do so. I have to give all categories an EXCELLENT rating. We celebrated our 1 yr. anniversary on Sunday of our stay. Could not have foreseen having such a beautiful setting to spend the occasion with my wonderful wife. She did so good for us finding your location and all the other venues we explored and to part in. Our Return trip to RWI with our teenage kids was truly "AWESOME" ! We proved to our kids they can still have fun with their parents on vacation . The well equipped RWI "Queen Ann SUITE" cannot be beat for location and amenities and their friendly helpful staff . The maid the owners provide does a "great" job , and will clean whenever you like .The Hobie sailboats and sea kayaks were throughly enjoyed by all and most other Grace Bay properties do not provide these great toys . Fred & Ann's list of island recommendations is very helpful . We went diving , fishing , snorkeling , exploring , dining , sunset watching along with Joe Joe the dolphin watching , and none of us were ready to leave after our week was up , would like to stay longer next time and their will definitely be return trips to the "Queen Ann Suite" ! We all agreed no more Florida vacations , T&C are "AWESOME " !!!!!! Many thanks to Fred & Ann for the truly great rental experience , so much better and cost effective compared to booking outside of VRBO !!!!!

Fred and Ann, Your place is absolutely amazing. The picture's can't begin to show how awsome the unit is. The location is excellent, the grounds are immaculate, the pools are great, and the unit was stocked with everything we need. We also enjoyed the floats and other pool/beach items. Finally, we can't say enough about Grace Bay. The food is amazing and the water is unbelievable. Thanks for the opportunity for an amazing vacation. We hope to return!

Wow!!!! Your condo is beautiful! It's even better than the pictures and so well stocked. The entire complex was really nice, and we had a great stay. Michel picked us up at the ferry dock which made our arrival so convenient. Hopefully, we'll be able to rent your condo again for a longer period of time as we definitely want to return to Provo. We really appreciate your professionalism throughout and especially with our last minute plan change. Our entire trip was absolutely fabulous!

Hi Ann-We just wanted to let you know what a great vacation we had at your condo on Grace Bay. It truly was one of our best!! From the moment we arrived, right up until we left Royal West Indies,things were perfect. The resort grounds are beautiful, the beach and crystal blue water are stunning. Your condo is so pretty and comfortable (great mattress) we were sad to leave. One week is not enough. Grace Bay is absolutely gorgeous and a big thanks to Eddie & Russell at the beach-always ready with loungers,towels,& umbrella. They were terrific!
