  I rented this house for one week last May (2012) and we still remember our time there fondly. We have great memories and some beautiful pictures. We had never visited Lake Lure and didn't know what to expect. The house was great. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming. My husband and I spent the entire week and our adult children came and went as their schedules allowed. Our then 5 year old grandson loved having the lake at the back door. He swam and fished with his dad. We all enjoyed the canoe. We were a bit disappointed with the limited availability of good restaurants but we made do. I doubt we go back regularly but would love to revisit this house sometime in the future!!!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

  This house is wonderful!!! When I was there outside on the water was a floating trampoline. The house is very comfortable and I felt like I had never left home. I brought along some friends who have got their family thinking about going. The decks are a very nice extra to a house like this. There is also a grill that has been provided and works very well. The water is great and so is the canoe that was provided. I didn’t want to leave!!! The furniture is to die for. The beds are very soft. The bathrooms are very clean and the kitchen is amazing. When you first walk in you are afraid to touch anything, it is so nice and neat. I can’t believe that the person who owns this house is not there every chance they get!!! The kids loved it and they girls had enough space to play baby dolls while the boys played space ship. My grandparents went along loved this house and I never wanted to leave! ! ! !.

  Well, we are home safe and sound back in the flat land. Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at the Lake. Your home was perfect for our needs and the view was fabulous. I have lots of pictures of the view from the deck at various times of the day. Also the wifi internet connection was a great addition, as we were able to keep up with news at home. Thank you so much for that it will definitely be a selling point for rental. We all had a wonderful time and would recommend your VRBO to anyone wanting to gather with family.

  I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at your Lake Lure house last week. The house fit our needs perfectly. The rooms were warm, comfortable, and accommodating. The beach was a great place for my 17 month old granddaughter to enjoy her first experience with the sun and sand. The views were amazing and your decks provided the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. I would definitely recommend your place to anyone. Thanks for providing us with a wonderful vacation house for the week. Susan
