Built in 1994, this lakefront home has four sliding glass doors displaying stunning views of the lake and mountains. There are two large decks overlooking the lake for sunning, relaxing, and outdoor dining. A private sandy beach and boat dock allow access for water sports, fishing, and swimming. You may arrange to bring your own boat with the proper permits or rent from one of the local marinas. A 16 foot canoe is provided for your use.
The house has central heat and air conditioning. The four bedrooms have ceiling fans. Three have queen beds and one has twin beds. The upstairs bath has a tub/shower. The complete kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. The large laundry room has a washer, dryer and laundry sink along with an iron and ironing board. A telephone and answering machine are provided for local calls. A High speed internet connection and WI-FI are available at no charge. A 27" cable TV, DVD player and VCR are found in the great room along with a gas fireplace. The lower living room has a queen sleeper sofa and 27" color TV. Well behaved pets are welcome for $10 per day. Please, no smoking in the house.

This house is owned by my mother, Carolyn Henderson, and ever since the passing of my father in 2008, I have been helping her maintain, rent, and enjoy (as much as we can) this wonderful house on Lake Lure. This lake house was absolutely my father's dream.......the view, the neighbors, the tranquility, and most of all the pleasure and excitment he saw in each of his seven grandchildren when they came to the lake for a visit. Priceless!

This house is wonderful!!! When I was there outside on the water was a floating trampoline. The house is very comfortable and I felt like I had never left home. I brought along some friends who have got their family thinking about going. The decks are a very nice extra to a house like this. There is also a grill that has been provided and works very well. The water is great and so is the canoe that was provided. I didn’t want to leave!!! The furniture is to die for. The beds are very soft. The bathrooms are very clean and the kitchen is amazing. When you first walk in you are afraid to touch anything, it is so nice and neat. I can’t believe that the person who owns this house is not there every chance they get!!! The kids loved it and they girls had enough space to play baby dolls while the boys played space ship. My grandparents went along loved this house and I never wanted to leave! ! ! !.

Well, we are home safe and sound back in the flat land. Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at the Lake. Your home was perfect for our needs and the view was fabulous. I have lots of pictures of the view from the deck at various times of the day. Also the wifi internet connection was a great addition, as we were able to keep up with news at home. Thank you so much for that it will definitely be a selling point for rental. We all had a wonderful time and would recommend your VRBO to anyone wanting to gather with family.

I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at your Lake Lure house last week. The house fit our needs perfectly. The rooms were warm, comfortable, and accommodating. The beach was a great place for my 17 month old granddaughter to enjoy her first experience with the sun and sand. The views were amazing and your decks provided the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. I would definitely recommend your place to anyone.
