  My family and I very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is comfortable, tastefully decorated with two full bathrooms, laundry, kitchen....all the comforts of home. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable....I've never had a sounder sleep! Although on the 2nd floor, there is an elevator which makes it convenient for moving luggage or, as in our case, a baby stroller. Access to the beach is directly across a beautiful, live oak-lined street from the condo. In fact, the setting of the condo among a forest of live oaks adds to its beauty and appeal. We very much enjoyed the many walking trails through the park-like setting of the resort. Add in the charms of the nearby town of Fernadina Beach and you have the making of a relaxing vacation thats hard to top. In sum, a great property in a great setting!

  The condo is charming, clean and a comfortable spot to relax after a day at the beach. Our young kids loved the short walks on the wooded trails to the beach, Omni hotel, golf course and Nature Center. Mom and dad appreciated the kitchen, which enabled us to prepare full meals, and the balcony overlooking the pool. Two full bathrooms came in handy, as did the cable TV and Internet access. Amelia Island is a wonderful destination...we’ll be back!

  We had a wonderful time at the condo. It was very clean and was quiet at night. Great view from the balcony of the pool and wooded areas. The condo is just down from the Ameilia Island Plantation Hotel which puts it in a very high class, nice area. There is a beautiful walkway over to the beach (only a few minutes) and wooded trails throughout the area for walking, etc. We took our dog and she loved it! The owner is very good at giving you all the information you need. This was so much better than staying at a hotel like we did last year.

  Recommended for: Pet owners.

  My husband and I spent a week at this charming condo. It was perfect. The beach is just a short walk across the street. We spent most of our time just relaxing and taking long walks on this beautiful beach. The condo itself was perfect: Cozy living room with balcony. Full kitchen stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Washer and dryer. It was a home away from home, the perfect get away. We will definitely be returning. Charlie was so wonderful to us. When we told him my mom was under hospice and we were uncertain if we would have to cut our vacation short, Charlie agreed to refund us for any night that we didn't use. We did not have to as my mom passed away June 27, but I will never forget Charlie's kindness. I highly recommend this condo to everyone...you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you Charlie!!!

  Three gals on vacation to visit family also staying in the area and this condo was just PERFECT for us.... location to beach, family. It had everything we could have needed/wanted. We didn't use the pool there during our stay because were at our familie's pool by Ship Watch but the store "Debby" kinda limited our access anyway. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Charles!

  We stayed here for 10 days and totally enjoyed the location,loved the quiet surroundings, and found that the condo offered exactly everything that was described. The closeness to the beach was unreal...and we chose this condo because we travel with our dog> What a dog-friendly, PERFECT locale for your pup! The neighbors in this villa were lovely, and travelled from faraway to have wonderful R&R with their dogs. The town on Fernandino is not only an historic treasure, but it offers great restaurants and shopping. The condo location...in the Omni Resort...is terrific! shopping and dining within walking distance. When we return to Amelia Island, we will definitely choose this condo again. The owner/landlord was a pleasure, indeed.

  The condo ended up being everything advertised and more. The view of the pool and golf course were very nice. The short walk down the wooden walkway to the beach was no problem. The location also offers runners the opportunity to run on the beach, or on miles of paths under the canopy of trees. The bedrooms and living area were spacious and the furniture comfortable. I do not know the date of the oven, but it worked just as we needed it to. We definitely plan to use it again!

  We stayed in the first week of October and of course the weather was heavenly. The condo has pretty much everything you need including wired internet. It is in a good location relative to the beach access and the amenities of the Plantation. The upfit and appliances of the condo are quite old and could use updating and although reasonably clean on the surface the place is not sparkling clean. But compared to paying $200 a night through the Plantation it's a cost-effective tradeoff.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Owner response: I am the owner of the condo. I do not totally disagree with the FIRST EVER slight criticism of the experience, but just want to comment. The stove is old and will be replaced soon. All of the other appliances, including tvs, etc., have been replaced within the last 3 years. Our cleaning lady does a spotless cleaning job, so I'm not sure what this renter is referring to. A comparable rental of the exact same unit from the Plantation would be more in the $300 per day category. Our place is cozy, clean, well situated, and a high percentage of our renters are repeats. Since we have had the unit rented back to back for almost the entire year, a full top to bottom cleaning (washing the walls, etc.) will now take place. Come see us!

  What a beautiful spot to spend a holiday. Between the ocean and the pool it was ideal! The condo was clean and tidy and met all of our needs. I would not hesitate to return here and would recommend to family and friends! Thanks Charlie!

  This is our second stay at this condo and it won't be our last. It was much more comfortable the second time because we knew where everything was and what the condo offered. The owner is very accessible with any questions or concerns. It is everything that he states and what the pics represent. We love staying at Amelia Island Plantation and love knowing we have a place our family can call home. We stayed lasy year in June and loved our trip this year in August.
