The condo ended up being everything advertised and more. The view of the pool and golf course were very nice. The short walk down the wooden walkway to the beach was no problem. The location also offers runners the opportunity to run on the beach, or on miles of paths under the canopy of trees. The bedrooms and living area were spacious and the furniture comfortable. I do not know the date of the oven, but it worked just as we needed it to. We definitely plan to use it again!

We stayed in the first week of October and of course the weather was heavenly. The condo has pretty much everything you need including wired internet. It is in a good location relative to the beach access and the amenities of the Plantation. The upfit and appliances of the condo are quite old and could use updating and although reasonably clean on the surface the place is not sparkling clean. But compared to paying $200 a night through the Plantation it's a cost-effective tradeoff.
Owner response:I am the owner of the condo. I do not totally disagree with the FIRST EVER slight criticism of the experience, but just want to comment. The stove is old and will be replaced soon. All of the other appliances, including tvs, etc., have been replaced within the last 3 years. Our cleaning lady does a spotless cleaning job, so I'm not sure what this renter is referring to. A comparable rental of the exact same unit from the Plantation would be more in the $300 per day category. Our place is cozy, clean, well situated, and a high percentage of our renters are repeats. Since we have had the unit rented back to back for almost the entire year, a full top to bottom cleaning (washing the walls, etc.) will now take place. Come see us!

What a beautiful spot to spend a holiday. Between the ocean and the pool it was ideal! The condo was clean and tidy and met all of our needs. I would not hesitate to return here and would recommend to family and friends! Thanks Charlie!

This is our second stay at this condo and it won't be our last. It was much more comfortable the second time because we knew where everything was and what the condo offered. The owner is very accessible with any questions or concerns. It is everything that he states and what the pics represent. We love staying at Amelia Island Plantation and love knowing we have a place our family can call home. We stayed lasy year in June and loved our trip this year in August.

My elderly parents, husband and self (plus the little dog, of course) had a wonderful week @ this condo. It is situated in a beautiful private setting overlooking the pool. The pool is visable, but far enough away to avoid any noise from same. It is a very comfortable unit and we appreciated the arrangement whereby the two bedrooms are separated by the two bathrooms, which affords a great deal of privacy. The condo is well equipped with the necessities, is well maintained and clean. The manager/cleaning person is nearby and is immediately available should any emergencies occur. The owner is also readily available, as well as, kind and generous. We appreciated the "extra" courtesies extended by him. Would highly recommend this property to anyone! Amelia Island is beautiful and surrounded by other wonderful places and things to see. Thank you again, Charlie! Patsy

We stayed in the condo in mid September 2010 and found it to be all it was represented to be, an exceptional value. True, the condo doesn't have the granite kitchen counters, but the rooms were clean, comfortable & provided for all our needs including internet access for our laptop. The beds were comfortable and the proximity to the Amelia Island activities was excellent. The beach is a short walk away with the intimate pool just around the corner from your door. The owner is also very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns. If you are looking for good accommodations in the heart of Amelia Island this is the place for you.

Totally satisfied. All descriptions are completely accurate. Short walk to the beach and to the pool were very convenient. Right on the bike paths and such a beautiful location in all the live oaks. So nice to walk away from the beach and the sun to then be in a shaded, quiet wooded area. Internet access is a must with teenagers too. We hope to rent here again and will recommend to friends for sure.

My family throughly enjoyed our week at this condo. It was a convienent walk across the street to the beach and to the shops. We had everything we needed in the unit and the pictures were an accurate reflection. The owner was wonderful to work with. We are planning to contact him again for a repeat visit next year.

We stayed at this condo in early June and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Emelia Island. The listing description and photos accurately reflect the appearance and location. The condo is an easy walk to the beach and convenient to other amenities. The owner is easily accessible and very helpful. I will recommend this property to family and friends.
