Designer One-Bedroom - Eiffel Tower & Rue Cler Street Market
- Minimum stay:3-4 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
This air-conditioned, exclusive apartment seems to have it all. This 1-bedroom apartment of 50 sq meters is on the first floor with elevator and can accommodate 4 guests. Not only is it located Rue Monttessuy, just steps away from the Eiffel Tower and the rue Cler street market, but it is also sports a true four-star interior. The style is decidedly contemporary, yet with a timeless elegance. The clean lines of the design are complemented by crisply contrasting hues.
The beautifully appointed double living room is exceptionally spacious and with its two full-length French windows, it is bright and airy, too. The hardwood parquet floorboards and ceiling mouldings give a natural authentic charm that is enhanced by the opulent furnishings.
The living room has two distinct areas with a large arched passage acting as a separation. The first part of the living room has a three-seater sofa, an upscale TV / Hi-Fi / DVD entertainment center, and also a table and chairs for enjoying meals at home.
The second part of the room, beyond the archway, has the feel of a cozy study, with twin bookcases, a large comfy sleeper sofa, and a leather armchair. This arrangement means that use of the sleeper sofa does not interfere with the first living/TV/dining area.
The bedroom, facing the courtyard and very quiet, is at the end of the corridor and features a color scheme of beiges with sharply contrasting raspberry red. The queen-sized bed has a stylish high-backed bed head with matching cushions. An elegant bench is trimmed in matching suede next to a custom-integrated closet with ample room for all your clothes.
The kitchen is beautifully designed and incorporates all the equipment and amenities you would wish for (fridge/freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, ceramic hob, extractor, dish washer, clothes washing machine and integrated dryer). You will have everything to hand for preparing all the foods that you can find in the local open market on rue Cler, barely five-minutes away on foot.
The bathroom is conveniently located near the bedroom. It is also well equipped with a large shower cabinet, wash basin, and towel heating rails.
Thanks to its special location, striking designer lines and luxurious amenities, this apartment is without a doubt a great choice for a truly memorable and special stay in Paris.

Clean, secure, tastefully decorated. Very much enjoyed my stay. Everything needed within walking distance. Carole was always available by email for questions and really made my first experience renting in Europe very pleasureable. Would recommend this unit as a great value for the money.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Just a few weeks back we had the wonderful opportunity to stay in this well appointed, well cared for apartment. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to stay here. The explanations of the apartment are quite accurate. The taxi service was perfect. Our flight was late and the taxi continued to wait for us with no complaints and complete understanding. On the return flight, the taxi arrived 15 minutes early again providing peace of mind. Location to the Eiffel Tower was phenomenal; we strolled there numerous times just to soak up the ambiance of the evening light show. Rue Cler was also a short walk away, as well as various RER/Metro options. Thanks, Carole, for the hospitality. We appreciate the wine and fruit. And we love the various literature options you provided in the apartment.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We enjoyed a delightful week with our grandson. Carole was so easy to deal with and answer our questions as well as arrange for pick up at the airport. The apartment was very comfortable...queen size bed felt newer. Modern bath. Loads of towels. Our 14 year old slept on the sofa bed ( not sure adults would have found it too comfy). The welcoming fruit bowl and wine was such a nice touch. The down side of Paris in August is that several establishments are closed for holiday. Would love to return at another time of year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a truly beautiful apartment in the 7th. The hardwood floors, the comfortable linens, and the gorgeous decor stand out from a standard rental. We loved the floor to ceiling windows, too. We walked in to a lovely bottle of wine and bowl of fresh fruit from the owner--what a nice touch. The street is one-way and quiet. There is a little market next door, a pharmacy, several restuarants on the street itself. The Eiffel tower is a 2 minute walk away!!!! You can see it from the street! We walked to the Metro daily--about 10 minutes easily strolled. We also loved the Rue Cler market and the Rue St. Dominique for restaurants--both 5-10 minutes walk away. This is a perfect place to stay for 1-4 people. We easily fit our family of 4 here, and we loved the central location, the cleanliness, and the space of this apartment. I would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks, Carole, for making this such an easy vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our arrival was greeted by a fruit bowl and bottle of wine and the apartment was an oasis from the travel hassles in getting to Paris. We found the apartment charming and relaxing during our stay, but nothing can beat the location. Our children were excited to play in the park (Champ de Mars) and with it being only a block away, they did frequently. They loved riding the pedal cars and watching the marionette show at Champ de Mar, as well. We enjoyed the nearby Rue Cler street market and some of the restaurants only steps away. Going out to climb the Eiffel Tower stairs and come back to relax in comfort was a nice benefit of the location. The apartment was quiet and the only street noise was from chanting Euro 2012 fans making their way home after a match, but that only added to the charm of the city.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Great apartment just steps from the Eiffel Tower! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days in this very stylish and comfortable apartment. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and truly felt like a 'home away from home'. Located on a relatively quiet side street - literally around the corner from the Eiffel Tower - this apartment has it all with easy access to the RER/metro, just a 5 minute walk to Rue Cler, lots of restaurants to chose from and shops to explore. We walked a couple of doors down to the corner almost nightly to sit outside with a drink and watch the lights twinkle on the Eiffel Tower. The owners of the apartment have taken great care to ensure your stay is comfortable with a well thought out guide to the apartment and surrounding area. The welcome basket of fruit and wine is a very nice touch! We look forward to another stay here in our 'Paris home'.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The location couldn't have been better and the spacious living rooms were great. We also appreciated the linens - good quality and refreshed. However, we felt the apartment needed a bit of a facelift. Many of the decorative items were dusty and aged looking, along with there being too much "stuff" around. We found the kitchen a bit lacking in equipment, no cooking for me. The hard part, had I decided to cook other than the light breakfasts we had, was the awkward dining arrangement. Not much pleasure in sitting on 2 rickety chairs facing the wall at a narrow bench like table. Most difficult was the locking system. The key was impossible for me to turn it was so hard. Thus, I was unable to go out on my own. My husband also found it very difficult to work the key. We do ask that you update the information folder you provide. The markings on the map were not always correct, for example, the postoffice is in the opposite direction. Information on how to use the remote light control would have helped. A phone call was needed to get us out of the dark. We did enjoy our Paris stay. Johnson'sRecommended for: Tourists without a car.
Owner response: Dear Florence, I'm glad the apartment and location generally fulfilled your expectations. Regarding your suggestions: - The apartment was in fact fully repainted and generally refreshed just 3 months ago, to keep it perfectly clean and fresh. - The table is in fact unfoldable, for those wanting a larger table. I will make sure this is more clearly indicated. We thought it best to leave it folded by default, to leave a great sens of space. - I will contact you privately to know which kitchen equipment can be added in the kitchen so that the stay of future guests can be optimized. - I will also have the key system checked/oiled/adjusted and our guide booklet updated to keep it accurate (I should say that most rentals don't offer a complete and thorough guide booklet at all). - Concerning the decorative items, actually it is quite deliberate. The style is "brocante (antique flea market) chic", with many items meticulously arranged. This is to give a warm welcoming feeling. The items are exactly as per photos. I hope that these issues didn't detract from your enjoyment. Kind regards, Carole

We had a fantastic time in this apartment which was situated just minutes from top Paris attractions. Each morning we strolled around in the park by the Eiffel Tower and also dined near the Rue d'Cler. The apartment was very comfortable and warm (it was quite cold outside). It had all the amenities we needed and was very well decorated. We would definitely stay there again if we came to Paris and recommend it to anyone. It is near a metro stop and the RER. We took only public transit during our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 7:
This upscale neighborhood, located in the 7th district, and overlooked by the Eiffel Tower, contains some of the most beautiful architecture in Paris with buildings proudly displaying their gloriously grand stone carvings. The airy, wide open avenues and boulevards are the antithesis of the somewhat cramped streets of the Marais. The Champs de Mars park, behind the Eiffel Tower, offers a stunning setting for reading, strolling, or just letting the kids vent their energy at the playground. The Place du Trocadero offers one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to go there at night when thousands of twinkling lights sparkle at the top of every hour and the rotating searchlight crosses the Paris night sky.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The bright, airy living room features two distinct parts, separated by a large archway. The interior style is decidedly contemporary, yet with a timeless elegance. The hardwood parquet floorboards and ceiling mouldings give a natural charm that is enhanced by the contemporary furnishings. The bedroom, finished in neutral tones with sharply contrasting raspberry red highlights, is courtyard-facing and very quiet. The queen-sized bed features a stylish high-backed bedhead with matching cushions. An elegant bench is trimmed in matching suede, next to a custom-integrated wardrobe providing ample storage space.
