Our family of four enjoyed a relaxing winter getaway to the lake. Kids were tired at night after hiking on the ice and playing outside. Nordic Mountain for downhill skiing was just minutes away which is nice. House was spotless and clean. By far the nicest place we have stayed on Irogami Lake. We will definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We rented this summer before last. It is a beautiful house and just as comfy as can be! It is too bad that the lake sucks. It is so shallow and weedy that you cannot swim! Too bad the house couldn't be moved somewhere else. If it wasnt for the lake we would have come back every summer!
Owner response:My wife and I have three children, ages 7, 5, and 8 months. We purchased this home recently because it is great for young kids. We have enjoyed the lake for the last 10 years at a relative's lake home - pontooning, jet skiing, tubing, fishing, and swimming. The kids love playing in the water and we are comfortable that they're safe because of the shallow depth. There is some vegetation in the water, particularly in the center of the lake - a great spot for fishing. We're confident you will enjoy both the house and the water!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.
