This beautiful adobe home sits between the Taos ski valley and plaza in the prestigious Los Altos community off of Taos Ski Valley rd. Panoramic mountain views bless the home's front and back yards. Stained glass sky lights, saltillo tile , hand carved doors and viga beam ceilings compliment the home's large open floor plan. This home has large picture windows to capture 360 degree views of the mountains. Every direction affords a stunning vista. Because the home is in a culdesac , the home's back yard is very private with no view of other nearby homes .
The main living area is 2975 sq. ft. with an optional 1100 sq ft. second floor ( total of 4075 sq ft). The main living area sleeps up to eight guests in 4 beds in 4 separate rooms. The apartment sleeps up to 4. The entire home will sleep up to 10 guests comfortably.
Master suite has a King-size bed, fireplace, walk-in closet. Over-sized shower, TV with DVD and Sat TV. All beds have 500 thread count luxurious sateen linens.
The second oversized bedroom has a king-size pillow top bed, fireplace and TV with sat tv and dvd.
The Guest bedroom has queen-size bed , a dresser, and three drawer night stands for clothing
The library has a queen size pull out bed and tv/ dvd
The second floor apartment sleeps 4 . Pull out couch and king bed or 2 twin beds, tv with Sat.tv and DVD
Cooks will enjoy a gourmet kitchen with décor cook top & convection oven. Large refrigerator , Dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and cooking utensils.
Mountain bikes, tennis racquets , board games, and a DVD movie collection are provided. Wireless internet.
Community indoor pool, tennis court, steam room and basketball court.

Our family (consisting of three different households each from different states) met at this vacation rental property for a 1 week vacation (just a few weeks ago). This home looks nice in pictures, but they didn't capture the beauty completely. When we arrived at this property, we could hardly believe how absolutely beautiful this home is...both inside and outside. This home is beautifully decorated in southwest decor. It is nestled in the country but yet so very close to shopping, dining, etc. At night, we enjoyed the peaceful evenings watching the stars (which shined like diamonds) out on the back patio or upstairs on the balcony. Our week vacation went by way too fast & we were sad to leave such a charming home. Thank you, Ron, for describing your property perfectly. In addition, we appreciated having a wonderful and comfortable home to spend family time together. We're hoping this property is available again for our next vacation!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I have never seen it rain in the valley and be snowing on the tops of the mountains at the same time, it was simply amazing. The Casa was beautiful and peaceful. The views are breathtaking. The beds are very comfortable with wonderful sheets. The pool and steam room are very clean and look just like in the pictures. We had a wonderful time and would reccommend Casa Encantada to everyone.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family was already talking about coming back before we even left. I would most definitely recommend this house for a vacation! It was absolutely gorgeous, as were the sunsets and starry skies. The mountain views were wonderful around the home, they took your breath away.The home was also very spacious.We will definitely return to Taos very soon. It was our first time on a ski trip to Taos . The house was great. It had 3 cozy fireplaces, beautiful décor and comfortable furniture. It also had incredible scenery all around the home. The community club house had a heated pool which was great for the kids . The staff was very helpful , and answered all of our questions. We really had a great time and look forward on returning. This home was incredible. It had everything we could ask for. It had beautiful décor and amazing views all around the house. The fireplaces were a great comfort after a long day of skiing. We really couldn’t have asked for more. The staff was great in all aspects, by making sure we had everything we needed. They answered all of our questions. We will definitely come back in the near future to spend more time in this lovely vacation home. This is the vacation home to be at if you want to go on a great ski trip. Couple of friends and I spent the time of our life skiing, and enjoying this amazing New Mexico home. Huge spacious rooms with fire places, incredible views all around the house, "it was great". We whent swimming at the community club house. The satff was excellent and very accommadating. Thanks a bunch ! We will definitely come back and i will definitely recommend the house to everyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
