House sleeps 10 to 11 people. Cabin sleeps 2 to 4 people. This dynamic mountain home and cabin with huge decks face southwest, with awesome views of the mountains, meadows, and sunsets! On a secluded 4.25 acres which borders over 1000 acres of parkland, you will feel like you’re the King or Queen surveying you own domain! You will enjoy the peace and quiet, the mountains, trees, wildlife, and huge rock outcroppings. Colorado Dream Vacation provides quiet privacy coupled with proximity to Denver, night life, Ski Resorts, Gambling, Red Rocks, & other major areas of interest. Local activities include hiking, biking, motorcycling, climbing, fishing, ice skating, wildlife viewing, golf, tennis, swimming, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, shopping, dining, musuems, theater, and more, or sit back, relax & do nothing at all! House is 2000 square feet & exceptionally appointed "Colorado Style" with a hot tub perched among gorgeous rock outcroppings. Master bedroom on main level boasts handsome King Suite with TV/DVD, private bath with shower. Also on the main level is a half bath, Laundry Room, Living Room with grand 2 story vaulted ceilings and wood stove. Dining room is open to kitchen and living room, table seats 10. Custom tiled breakfast bar seats 3. Two upper level bedrooms, (1)Jarrett's room, has twin/full bunk bed and sleeping loft with queen bed accessible by rolling library ladder! And TV.(2)Guest bedroom has distinct Southwestern flair, with huge pine poster Queen bed set with copper. The open loft upstairs between the bedrooms has a sleeper sofa, fourth TV/DVD, X-Box, & board games. Ceiling fans in all three bedrooms. The cabin is 900 square feet and has a wonderful 442 square feet deck with hot tub! Slate and Aspen walls in the bathroom. Copper vessel sink and Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures. 21 feet tall windows make you part of the outside! Terrific views! Loft Bedroom. Sleeper sofa in Living room. Handmade wrought iron spiral staircase. Separate parking. What choices! House or Cabin, or both? Wow!

The bear loves the spiral staircase up to the master bedroom loft VRBO Bear stayed here - 05/20/2007 - on site review: My adventure story experiencing the "Colorado Dream Vacation" still feels like a beautiful dream! I arrived in Evergreen at 9:30 at night in the wilderness dark. It was so fun and exciting to follow the solar powered lights to the magnificent home and cabin on this mountain. It was even more gorgeous than any of the pictures I had seen of this "get into the woods and away from the city" vacation site. The first sight was the Jacuzzi. It was so warm and cozy. Then I pounced into the amazing cabin and when I looked up, I saw the tin ceilings; and when I looked straight ahead, I saw this huge all natural mountain rock built into the family room. I couldn’t believe it! Then, as I turned to my left, there was this tall spiral wrought iron staircase that let up to the master bedroom. I couldn’t wait to see what was up there, so I climbed as fast as I could, and it was pure Colorado. It had tree trunks for night stands and a big comfy bed and a light with antlers. I felt just at home as any bear would here. Did I mention the terracotta color slate tiles on the walls in the kitchen, bathroom and on the floor? They were so unique and wonderful, I just loved them. But my favorite was the view out these huge windows at the unforgettable Colorado Dream Cabin. I could see the tops of the trees and the moonlight - and in the morning - the blue sky. The owner explained to me that there is a honeymoon package available including champagne, strawberries, and massage available for the most romantic getaway.
