This cabin is very fun we had a group of 4 of us all of us got horrible horrible infections from the nasty hottub. Woke up The next morning (eyes swollen shut) and got horrible rashes on whole body. Developed horrible internal infections which doctors tested and it was commonly found in hot tubs. Awful experience... Couches were also dirty
Owner response:Wow, so sorry to hear of this problem 3 months later. We try to keep hot tub clean but guests go back and forth from river making keeping clean difficult this year I plan to install drain making it easier to clean. If any suspect of lack of cleanliness just contact my manager and the issue will be addressed

Everything was great! It was so private and nice. It was a great place to bring kids; they had a lot of activities there with pool, ping pong and playing in the river. We brought tubes and they tubed down the river which was great fun. We definitely want to rent this cabin again!

My wife and I honeymooned at the cabin for a week and loved every bit of the tranquility, seclusion, and natural beauty surrounding the snow basin cabin. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a getaway. The property is well maintained, and I could not have asked for a better service-friendly owner.

To all those who are considering to stay at the Isle of view, We just wanted to say that it was incredible... We told Joe that pix's just cant do this place justice it is so much to take in that the camera cant capture the full view. The island is surrounded by mountains and the Ogden river that sounds so amazingly relaxing. We lit a bomb fire and reclined next to it and let the cares of the world melt away! It was the first time that My husband and I left our 4 kids home for this long as well as my Husbands cousin and her Hubby that has a 5 month old and and 3 other kids and we only stayed 2 days. It really felt like home we pouted when we left. I have a phobia of hotel blankets and towels but I didn't not fear it at this house. It was very clean and comfy. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking gadgets ans the store is about 10 minutes away. We went out to dinner at the Mayan in South Jordan and we all thought when we do come down again next time we are not moving from the house it was to much to take in we hope to go hiking next time. We had a really cool storm that we got to see come in through the skylights. The bridge and a tree lights up at night with rope lights and the the house at night just sparkles. They have gone above and beyond for their visitors to experience and incredible mountain cabin stay, We are all still in awwww. Joe is an amazing person and we would like to all thank him for allowing us to have a parents get away that was very needed. We look forward to renting next yr if Joe will be permitting!

We stayed for one week arriving on January 11th- Family Friendly. Just as described. This home is nestled off Ogden Valley Rd - on the river. Breath taking scenery. Close to Snowbasin ski resort. Hope to return in the future.

AWESOME! You get what you see in the pics. This was a great place to stay. Quiet enough to relax but close enough to stores if you need something. Near waterfall, reservior, hiking trails... Catch fish right off the deck or the backyard. We plan to stay again in the spring/summer. Thanks Joe!!

Very cute and private home for a quick or long get-a-way! We had a great time during our stay! If you're like me, and hate taking your kids to a hotel and confining them in a small space then you should really check this place out! The home offers a very comfortable living space with kids, also extremely close to very popular Reservoirs for some extra fun on the water...fishing, boating, rafting, etc (or ski resorts during the winter). It's private, outside of town but also close enough that if you forgot something at the Grocery Store, it's just a hop, skip and a jump away. Great shopping, eating, scenery, and wildlife! My family and I had a blast! I intend on renting again in the future! PS. We left some sand/water toys and some child rafts for someone else to enjoy. I hope everyone that rents this home will have as much fun and be as relaxed as we were. Thank You very much for letting us stay!

The weekend was great and the cabin was terrific. It's nice waking up to a moose looking at you through the bedroom window. That doesn't happen everyday. Great little place to stay and play. It'd be a great place to stay if we were to go back and do some skiing next time.

We stayed in the house Thanksgiving week and had a great time. This is a real find, such a unique place right on the river, the water is unbelievably close right out any door or window; we saw a lot of big trout from the front porch. The house is quite large for a 2 bedroom, 2 baths; it must be over 2000 ft2. It is an old redwood summer house with lots of windows and a high open gabled ceiling. Joe has made a lot of improvements, including good insulation and heat to make it a year round place. Probably the most unique thing is the suspension bridge you have to walk over to get to the house, it is on a small island in the river, the only house on the island and there is no road or car access to the island so it is very private. Parking is only about 100 ft from the house across the river. You can’t see another house from it.The location is great, very close to Snow Basin and not far from Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley. A good and unique location for skiing. We will rent from Joe again.
