"My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing vacation this home. Very short walk to the beach and the view from the patio was spectacular. There is a very nice pool for use at times that the tide is high as the beach is short due. There were many restaurants to go to in Palmas or you can go out of the complex to other areas in Puerto Rico. You can also go the Walmart, which is a short drive away, for groceries (although there is a small store within Palmas). There are lots of activities just a short drive away - San Juan, Luguilla, El Yungue rainforest. There is a AAA map in the property and I would strongly suggest you take that with you as GPS/cell service can be spotty on the island. This property was very nice with pretty much everything you needed. You could stay at Palmas the entire time without a car - but you would need a golf cart to get around the huge complex. Had a great time!"

"We recently spent about a week at this beautiful home in Rincon. This was our 3rd stay at this exquisite villa, and it gets better every time! The house has such a welcoming feel, it is hard to believe that we were just renting! There is everything one could possibly need, right down to spices in the cupboard if we wanted to cook! Most often, however, we chose to eat at one of the local restaurants. The owners provide literature and menus from many of the area restaurants. The house is fabulous! The views from either veranda are incredible, and there is plenty of seating both inside and out... comfy couches inside, lounge chairs on the veranda, and table seating are all readily available. Even the daybed downstairs was heaven to sleep in! The home is open and airy, so much so that it wasn't even necessary to turn on the AC. The neighbors were so friendly, and the property manager was so helpful. He even dropped off fruit from the property for us to enjoy. I would recommend this house highly and am already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you, Maria! Our stay was fabulous!"

"My wife and 2 kids (ages 6/8) stayed here for a week in February.
The condo unit itself is very nice, clean, and well kept. It has a master bedroom with its own bathroom. The kid’s room has two bunk beds. There is a kitchen, eating area, a small living room, and a balcony looking over the grounds and pool. The living room has a TV and the master bedroom has a TV. Each bedroom has an in-wall A/C unit, which we did not use at all. A washer and dryer are also in the unit. The kitchen is fully equipped. It was terrific to wake up to the sounds of the birds and the treefrogs.
The grounds are well kept. It has gated access and has a security guard who is either at the gate or roaming the grounds. The guards were very helpful and very nice. In the middle of the complex is a beautiful large pool alongside a two foot kiddie pool. My kids loved going between the two pools.
This unit is a corner unit, 2nd floor. It is a mere 30 steps from the pool and pool house. The gate to the beach is at the opposite end of the complex and is about a 1 or 2 minute walk (kid’s pace).
The beach is spectacular. You have no reason to go to any other beach on the island unless you want to kayak or something like that. You pretty much have the whole beach to yourself, palm trees and all. Warm water, soft sand, great walks on the bay. A couple of the days had big waves which were excellent for boogie boarding (2 boards in the condo).
In February, the condos are very quiet and you get the feeling you have the entire place to yourself.
Carabali Rainforest Park. A 10 min drive away has horseback riding, ATV tours, and go-kart track. We did the 2 hour horseback riding tour. The kids loved it and he horses are super easy to ride.
El Yunque Rainforest. A 15 min drive to the entrance. A great day trip. Check out the visitor center, the tower, and the waterfalls. Bring a lunch in a cooler (in condo) and eat at the second picnic area. The picnic area has huts all over the trail, each with its own picnic table. Bring a swimsuit, hike to La Mina falls and swim in the waterfall! The hike is about 30 minutes to the falls.
Grocery store: about 5 minutes away on route 3 West is a full-size grocery store.
Dining: go to the Luquillo food kiosks for lunch or dinner. About 5 minutes on route 3 East. It looks like a long grungy strip mall from the road. Upon closer inspection you’ll find some of the best food and drink. Our favorite was Beach BBQ #25."
