  • Very nice and relaxing place

"We stayed four nights, and wished it could have been longer! Jacqueline was most helpful with any questions via email and responded quickly. The apartment was easy to find with a GPS & seeing pictures of the complex before we left helped. Parking was easy and safe with a gated entry which you use a garage clicker to open. The apartment is cute, clean and comfortable with great views down the street of the beach and the mountains. We didn't really need to use the AC as the refreshing wind blows through and the ceiling fan in the bedroom kept us cool enough. There is sometimes street noise in the evening, but we travel with a white noise app on our phone so it didn't bother us. The bathroom is nicely done. We also were grateful to be able to use her beach chairs and just walk to the beach at the end of the street. What an incredible view! We also walked from this beach down and around to the paid Luquillo Beach; this too has some beautiful spots and a gorgeous lagoon just before Luquillo Beach. Jacqueline has provided everything needed for a fun, relaxing get-a-way and is an incredible host! I highly recommend staying here. We only had time to meet just before we left, which was a shame because Jacqueline was so nice & thoughtful, I could have spent a while visiting with her. THANK YOU, Jacqueline for sharing your darling home-we hope to be back someday!"

  • ¡QUÉ BONITO!

"“Beautiful” sums up our three weeks at this condo, and reflects our stay at many levels—the island itself with all of its diversity; the clean, sandy beach in front of the condo; the breath-taking view from the patio where we had coffee and wine; the ideal condo location with respect to historical and recreational sites as well as to close-by grocery stores, restaurants, and car rentals; and last but not least, the condo itself and Gaby, the gracious and helpful owner. This was a family vacation for 3 families, each coming one week to be with their grandparent. The three represented generations all voted it their favorite vacation yet! Beautiful, right?"

  • Great place for the right price!

"We stayed here for NYE 2014-mid Jan 2014. This condo is right up the street from Casa Verde and in walking distance to Ode to Elephant, Pools and Sandy beach. The property manager was also very accommodating and easy to access. This is a penthouse unit, which means you are one of the few units in this complex, with your own private terrace!! It is gated, clean, conveniently located, affordable and you have your own private 20x20 terrace with panoramic views of the ocean & mountains!"

  • Nice

"My 13 year old daughter and I stayed 4 nights over Spring Break. I wish we could have stayed longer. Cuneen made the stay seemless. The unit has everything you could need (beach towels, sunscreen, kitchen supplies, etc.). My daughter loved the loft. It has a porch off the bedroom and another off the living room. It overlooks the cluster pool. Except for birds and frogs, the place is very quiet. Usually we were the only people in the pool. There is easy acess to the beach and beach pool and we often had those to ourselves also. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. This is a great base for activities. El Yunque entrance is just across the highway. The ferry terminal for Culebra is a short drive. The bio-bay kayak tours are close. The food koisks are just down the road. If you don't feel like going off the resort there are restaurants, ice cream, bars and a casino down the hill in the hotel. We only used the ac at night, the breeze kept it cool most of the time. The second bathroom, was out front and was very clean, but we didn't need it. The beach near the pool has chairs and a small bar (open on weekends), but feels very private. We are already making plans to return with my wife and other daughter."

Arecibo Travel Tips

Arecibo Vacation Rentals Available in the Diamond of the North

One of the most interesting aspects of the Puerto Rican town Arecibo is that it is one of the oldest towns on the island. It was first settled in 1556 and was founded in 1616. Situated on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, this historical city is often referred to as "The Diamond of the North."

If you are interested in spending your time away in "The Diamond of the North," then consider making use of one of the available Arecibo vacation rentals. By staying in one of the Arecibo vacation rentals, you will be able to experience the town like a local instead of like a tourist.

Sun and Sand in Arecibo

In addition to enjoying the beautiful architecture in Arecibo, those taking advantage of Arecibo vacation rentals will also want to be sure to make use of the beaches in the area. Beaches in the area include Los Negritos Beach, Los Morillos Beach, Poza del Obispo Beach, and Las Tunas Beach. Arecibo travel plans should absolutely include time at the beach.

Instead of returning to a stuffy hotel room after hours enjoying the sun and water, enjoy the space available in one of the Arecibo vacation rentals. Kick your sun-tanned feet up. Lounge with a book and a good snack while your swimwear and beach clothes tumble in the dryer.

Glittering Nightfall

While the town lights may glitter in The Diamond of the North, spending a few nights of your trip in can be just as enjoyable as going out to dinner. The Arecibo vacation rentals come equipped with kitchens where you can try your hand at making local dishes using ingredients purchased from markets in town or you can prepare comfort food and family favorites. This is true for both privately owned rentals and villas that can be rented at Puerto Rico resorts in Arecibo. You'll also be able to relax over dinner, clear the dishes at your leisure, and thoroughly enjoy the evening.
