  • Excellent Vacation stay condo!!!!

"My friend and I rented this condo for one week starting march 28th 2015. It was our first time traveling to Puerto Rico and our first time going through VRBO. The manager Hebe and her Husband were both extremely very professional. Peca (Hebe's Husband) got us settled into the condo when we arrived and went above and beyond helping us get settled. His concern and care exceeded our expectations. By the end of the trip we considered him a friend! I would definitely recommend this property, it is exactly what you see in the photo's. Actually it looks better in person, especially when you enter the apartment and your greeted by the amazing ocean view!wow! spectacular It has everything you need, WIFI, Towels, Bathroom supplies. Nice bathroom, toilet and shower. wow! Anyhoo, this apartment is close to EVERYTHING! you will not need a car or taxi because the bus stop is 5min walking. It will drop you off right down in old san Juan. It's only a $0.75 bus ride. Take bus #53 Isla Verde Ave/San Juan or Bus T-5. Both will take you to old san Juan and, on the way back the last bus stop is YOUR stop right across the street from the condo so there is no worry about getting lost. Also if your renting a car the freeway is close to the condo and also a car rental place right behind the Walgreens in walking distance. There are several hotels next to the condo where you can be picked up for excursions. We got picked up twice from the Ritz Carlton during our stay. The price for the stay is extremely generous and the managers are great. I'm not sure why the last review was so long ago but, I wanted to make sure I wrote a review for 2015 because this place is an excellent stay home away from home. I would definitely go back, and if not for anything, at least to say hello to Peca and Hebe. Thank you."

  • Great penthouse apartment very close to the beach!

"We stayed here as a group of 7 girls and it suited us very well! We had a spot for everyone to sleep on the beds, couch, and futon. The view of the ocean and the sunsets are amazing and you can even open the windows to get a clearer look. It's a very short walk to the beach and there's plenty of necessities within walking distance such as a gas station, grocery marts and small restaurants. There is also a bus stop about two minutes away that we often took into the city and to Old San Juan. It's a very convenient location to walk around in and the locals were friendly. Fernando was a huge help always texting me to check in with us and ask if we needed any help. We even took advantage of a paddle boarding lesson through his shop. Overall we had a great stay and the apartment suited us very well!"

  • Balcony Heaven!

"This was our 1st trip to PR; my husband and I had a glorious 9 days. The apt. was 1st rate, near sights, the ferry, and everything we needed. It is in the only building in the Penamar complex with a direct view of the ocean. The stunning view from the balcony, accurately represented in the photos, looks straight out to Culebra in the distance and there was usually a cool breeze from the trade winds. We really enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and, although there is no beach in the immediate vicinity, we could hear the surf from the apartment in the quiet of the night. The apt. is on the 2d floor and very accessible to the parking spaces, which are two tandem spaces, so it is easy to get to the apartment without taking the elevator. Luis "Tony" was very responsive and easy to deal with. There was a little confusion on our arrival because we arrived late at night and only had Luis' daytime contact information. For later arrivals, we would recommend making sure to have all phone numbers and emails and a plan for how to get keys. The security person contacted the owner when we arrived and he sent someone right over to let us in, give us keys and offer some pointers about the apartment. We never had to wait for the security person to enter the complex. The apt was clean and well stocked with folding chairs, beach chairs, coolers, towels, tennis rackets and balls, kids' toys. The owner told us there were only a few starter supplies, but the apt. actually had many condiments, including olive oil & balsamic vinegar, paper goods such as towel paper, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, and toiletries such as suntan lotion and moisturizers. Some of these items appear to have been left by prior tenants so what is there might be different over time. We recommend checking the supplies before grocery shopping; there is a Walmart in Fajardo, which is open 24/7, so it is very easy to pick up what you need regardless of when you arrive. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable; didn't use the other 2 bedrooms. The apt is nicely furnished, with a gorgeous comfortable sectional couch. The table in the eating area is bar height. We would have preferred a lower table, but we got used to it by the end of our stay. Favorite beach-Seven Seas-5 minutes away. Fav restaurant-Ole Lelolai up the street. Always felt safe and very comfortable. All complex amenities excellent and uncrowded. We can't wait to return. Thanks, Tony!!!"

  • Great family rental!

"My family and I (husband, 7-year-old and 1-year-old) just got back from our seven day stay in this villa for our family vacation. We LOVED it! It was spacious, centrally-located (we spent our time in Luquillo, El Yunque, San Juan and Dorado Beach), and well-appointed. Tons of clean towels and three full bathrooms! They even had a baby crib and high chair which made traveling SO MUCH EASIER. The patio was a nice touch for relaxing after the kids were asleep. The pool and beach in the complex were gorgeous and although this villa does NOT guarantee you access to the Wyndham resort pool, we parked in the club lot and walked and spent two full days there where our older son enjoyed the water slide and we posted up on lounge chairs and relaxed with no problem. Jorge and his wife were so wonderful and gave us a tour of the place complete with ice cold beers when we arrived. We definitely recommend this place and next time we'll bring more friends and family with us!"
