  • Great place to stay

"The house is better than the pictures show. Owners respond immediately with answers to questions and extra information. It's just a wonderful place to relax and be with your family."

  • Family friendly, well stocked kitchen

"Obviously a well loved property. Will definitely consider renting again. Location was great. The rooms were clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils etc. We loved hanging out down on the dock in the hut. The house is reasonably toddler friendly, just had to move a couple of things out of reach, I just wish I had brought my baby gates to close off the raised deck so we could hang out there also. Obviously a well loved property."

  • A perfect family lake house!

"Don't expect the usual vacation rental house at King's Cove. Expect to feel like a guest. It is as if we were in my sister's home. No corners are cut for the renters. There are plenty of towels, comfortable bed linens, and bathroom tissue! :) Things like hand soap and paper products were the type I use at my house not the cheap things one usually sees in the typical beach or lake rental. The kitchen was well equipped, once again, with quality items, and the decor is an eclectic mixture of well loved treasures and comfortable furnishings. There is ample seating in the living area and both eating areas so that all the group can be together in the same space. The mix of beds worked out well for our multi-generational group and though we did not use the loft space, it is huge and perfect for older children to sleep and play. Outside, the porches are one of the best features of the property and have plenty of chairs and ceiling fans. We loved the furnished stone patio near the water and the sunshade on the dock. It is also nice to find a home with space to park several cars and a grassy lawn that is level enough to set-up yard games and big enough for the littles to run and play without fear of them falling into the lake. King's Cove is large enough for our extended family but cozy enough that I could (and might!) come back alone and not feel lost. There is not one thing about this lovely home that was not absolutely delightful!"

  • Great Getaway for a Church Youth Group

"My wife and I took our church youth group of 9 people. We came as a weekend getaway for our youth after a long week at church camp. The cabin is great for a large family with children and/or teenagers. There is plenty of room for gathering in the living room. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds. The group had a great time during our stay. On Saturday we rented a pontoon boat from a marina within minutes from the cabin. The group went out on the water for the day, and had a great time jumping at Chimney Rock. The following day we went down by the dock and caught some large mouth bass. Thanks for our enjoyable stay!"

Families longing for the cultural will find much to celebrate with the Tuskegee Repertory Theatre, which proudly shows African American plays and tells of their history within the area.
