"My wife and I, who have visited this area several times, decided for this trip to rent a house in the desert. We both are nature seekers and found this wonderful home to be exactly what the doctor ordered for winter weary bones. Deer, rabbits, an abundance of birds including raptors, visited our backyard vista on a daily basis. We became so familiar with the ten or so deer that we almost named them. One morning, my wife and I viewed a coyote very quickly traversing the wash that runs past the back fence.
If you are after quiet, a lovely home with a comfortable southwestern feel, then you have found your vacation. And the pool, despite the cool weather, was pleasantly heated and a nice place to relax."

"We loved Christine's place! The house is amazing - we felt so fortunate renting this vacation home! Christine was the ultimate hostess - everything we needed was right there. She made herself available when we had questions. The neighborhood was very green and lush - many nice trails for walking. There were humming birds everyday in the yard by the pool. The pool! So great! We spent lots of time swimming and hanging out in the pool area. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Close to Cave Creek, Carefree, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and not far from Sedona. We spent lots of time sightseeing, shopping and eating out at the many wonderful restaurants. We did cook in one night for dinner--everything we needed for the kitchen, and grilling was right there! So wonderful! We would like to rent from her again when we go back to the Cave Creek area. We've been there 3 times now--and so far Christine's place was the BEST!"

"We were visiting friends in Carefree for five days and wanted to stay close by so we were fortunate to find this condo at Rancho Manana Resort available on VRBO. The two bedroom lower unit was well furnished and stocked with just about everything you would need for an extended stay. There are three TV’s and reception is through Direct TV. The pool area was very pleasant and all the pool towels needed were provided at the pool. There was an onsite spa but it has been closed for over a year and according to the reception desk person there are no definite dates for opening a new spa. There is a golf course also onsite and it seemed to be very active. The onsite restaurant, Tonto Bar and Grill, had a great happy hour as well as great food for dinner.
There are also many restaurants within a short distance of the condo. If you are in to shopping for antiques, fine art and southwestern furniture, you will find several locations within the Cave Creek area. We enjoyed our stay and this will be our choice to stay, hopefully for more than five days, when we return to Cave Creek."

"My wife and I have been using VRBO for years and prior to this have vacation in Arizona we had stayed in Sedona and Oro Valley (Tucson).
Dealing with the owners Jerry & Lori was never a headache. They explained everything up front and were right on the mark with what was offered. This place is absolutely beautiful, the Kitchen, Living Room area is large and the appliances top notch. The TV with Bose speakers were unbelievable and with the house and patio wired.
We spent one day in Sedona, one day in the Oro Valley area and even took in a ball game at Chase Field in Phoenix. I only wish I had taken a little longer of a vacation this year to stay at the house and enjoy the property more.
We cooked on the grill several times, enjoyed the waterfall flowing into the spool and just relaxed in the sun looking at the beautiful mountains.
We were concerned about flooding as we had heard before we left New York about the situation but Jerry called us ahead of time and told us of no problems, then while we were there he reached out again asking if we had arrived and if everything was what we had expected.
I have dealt with owners and property managers in the past but Jerry made sure that everything was perfect…a real gentleman.
Cave Creek is close enough to Scottsdale/Phoenix but also far enough away that you feel country privacy.
I would definitely recommend this beautiful home and will be back!"
