"This was our third year in a row at the cottage, and we can't wait to go back next summer. The kids came down to visit again, and the grandchildren loved it. They had been talking about going to Delaware for months. The dogs had fun in the ocean, and so did we (at the beach every day...thank you for the great weather). The house has everything you need on vacation, and the neighborhood is quiet. Rose was very helpful. Visited our favorite restaurants again (Parkway Tavern and Patsy's in Bethany Beach, Charlie K's barbecue in Ocean View) and tried a new place that was really good, Northeast Seafood Kitchen. And don't miss going to McCabe's Gourmet Market, they have great food and pastries (try their aged balsamic vinegar). The end of summer peaches and corn in southern Delaware are the best. Too much to see and do in the area, but great for R&R."Guest: Jim and Lu Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 7, 2014View listing
"We were a group of family and friends looking for a relaxing week at the beach. The Sand Trap was exactly what we were looking for in a beach get a away. The house was spotless when we arrived and was very well maintained. The house is large, with 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The main living area is up on the top floor so you can take advantage of the view of the ocean. This area is composed of a large kitchen with everything you will need to prepare your meals, a dinning area with table and chairs for a large group, and a living area with a sectional couch and three recliners. We always had plenty of room for everyone to gather. It is literally steps to the beach, cross the street and you are there! My favorite area was the crows nest where I went every morning to catch the sunrise.....just beautiful. The Sand Trap is centrally located, just a few minutes in the car and you can get to Rehoboth or Ocean City. Also important to us was the neighborhood, it is a very quiet, family oriented area."Guest: Debbi D. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 1, 2014View listing
"We rented this house with two other couples and 2 kids and it was great. Very charming house with lots of character. Plenty of places to hang out. Kitchen is small but open and big peninsula. The view of the bay was lovely and the sunsets were great. It was very comfortable and felt like home. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. The house is located at end of South Bethany so beach was never crowded. The owners were very accommodating, answering multiple questions by email and being very flexible with check in and check out times. I would recommend to anyone."Guest: Sheila Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 20, 2014View listing
