  • Mesmerized

"We were mesmerized here by comfort and beauty indoors and outdoors. Two hundred or less steps to the beach path which has a shower for comers & goers alike. Across a bike path that can offer you a whimsical ride anytime you want. (Note, down on Dania beach before the pier is a handicap blue mat that is unrolled out to the edge of the sand.) Going to the beach and going back to Las Casas, multiple times on a daily basis offered much beauty in both environments. Airy, spacious, sky (rooftop terrace), ocean views peace & quiet. You can catch a sunrise & sunset from the roof. Coffee & wine times. If you can get out of thee most comfortable beds or? a tub that resembles something out of the Wild Wild West yet made for Lovey Howell. Bike to Hollywood Broadwalk to eat, or walk to Dania Pier for a bite. Bike to John Lloyd State Park or up over the Sheridan St. bridge to Ann Kolb Nature Center. These are short rides on not needed gear bikes which there are four of to use. As well as beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. Here is where Hollywood Beach meets Dania Beach (not crowded at all) luxury meets simplicity and heaven meets earth. I hate to say it, but, 'wicked'! nice. Back to Boston we went to return for sure. Oh, and the elevator in the house for every need. And can be used as a dumb waiter or to transport a smart waiter. And at the Custer st. beach path on Fri, Sat and Sun from 3p-7p, this section of the beach is opened for all dogs to run free. We didn't have a dog but went for the entertainment. Worth every bit of no cost unless you bring your dog then there is a tiny fee."

  • A business trip, and pleasure

"I traveled to Hollywood for a conference but decided to make my trip into a vacation too. I booked this great beachfront condo, and it was perfect. I needed something really quiet to do my work and this place was great as it is at the end of the hall and only has one apartment next to you, and I never heard any noise. I was able to swim in the heated pool, it was never too warm, and I had tons of choices as to restaurants as Aventura is nearby with an abundance of places to eat. Overall, I was really happy that I chose to stay here instead of a hotel. Thanks again for a great trip."

  • Great way to bring in the New Year!!!

"My family, which included 4 teenagers, stayed at this villa over New Years. The villa was amazing and even more beautiful than the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable. If we needed anything, we simply called and it was delivered. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to spend some time on Hollywood Beach. The bikes were nice to have for riding to the Broadwalk and the villa was only a few houses from the beach."

  • Great Condo on Hollywood Beach/Broadwalk….WHAT A VIEW

"My husband and I, our teen age son and my sister stayed a week in this condo at La Playa on Hollywood Beach/Broadwalk, We had an excellent experience. The condo was clean and well equipped. All necessary kitchen items including toaster, crock pot, blender and all major appliances were available as well as all needed linens. The condo also had some beach chairs and boogie boards. We LOVE the view from the living room and master bed room…straight out to the ocean. There is a pool in the building which we used and it was never crowded. When we did run into other tenants in the building they were all friendly and helpful. The owner/manager Mindy was very good to communicate with during the booking process and even during our stay. We had a little difficulty getting on the wifi but she was quick to respond and we got it all figured out. A bonus is that a parking permit is included. It is down the street about 1/2 a block but parking is a premium in that area and to stay in a parking garage or elsewhere would have been more expensive and less convenient. As for the location to the beach and area attraction, the location is PERFECT. We took walks down the boardwalk to do some souvenir shopping and to access many good casual restaurants. About a block away is a little pavilion area with a water pad for little ones. You can get to the nature trails, kayaking, and the Dania Pier in just a few minutes in the car (or bike ride). We would love to go back to LaPlaya again."
