"We looked at so many rentals on the big island, I am so glad we picked this one for our stay! The condo was all and more than we had hope for. Had everything we needed. And when we had a question, they got right back to us with the information we needed. My wife and I spent a lot of time relaxing and having dinner on the lanai. The sunsets each night from there were great. And falling asleep to the sound of the waves just outside every night is so great. Not only will we think about going back, we are planning on it. If you are looking on this side of the island, look no further, you will be glad you found this one too."

"What a fantastic place to stay, really I can not fault it in any way. We are a family of 4 and we were in Kona for the Ironman. This condo was just perfect for what we needed and in a ideal location. The view from the front of the Condo was just stunning and the condo itself was very well equipped and very clean and tidy. definitely time and money has been spent to keep it looking so nice. The only bad thing about staying here was that it was so hard to leave! Thanks for helping make a trip of a lifetime so special.

"Had a wonderful 10 days at Kahaluu Reef condo. The beach is right across the road. Perfect for snorkelling and surfing or just relaxing. Also a short walk to Magic Sands if you want to try out the boogie boards. The pool area is wonderful after a long day to relax and barbecue. Also the Kona area has the best weather so a great place to stay. Thanks Bob for the hospitality and Paul for making it so easy to book."

"What a lovely condo. Our family, ranging in ages between 90 to 17, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was open, well appointed, and very clean. With all the windows and fans, we did not miss AC and the fact that the condo is on the second floor meant we could leave windows open all day and night and feel completely safe. This condo is perfect for a large group and encourages socializing. We played games at the dinner table. The lanai was excellent for breakfast. The kitchen is well appointed and although we chose not to BBQ, the grill was available. The views are lovely and the birds were delightful but never an annoyance even in the morning. The three bathrooms made morning preparation stress free. The assigned parking spot was right by the stairs leading up to the condo. The one flight of stairs was no problem for our 90 year old. She took it easy going up and once in the condo bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room and lanai were all on the same floor. The spacious loft with its own bathroom was reached through a round staircase perfect for the teenagers need of privacy. The condo is located minutes away from beaches for swimming, snorkeling and sun bathing. Its location is great to enjoy all of the west side of the island especially Kona coffee area. The grocery store is conveniently nearby as are many businesses including a movie theater. The condo did have snorkel gear, water shoes, chairs, umbrellas and lots of towels. Since we were a large group we rented snorkel gear as well. A three minute drive over to the Sheraton Kona Resort took us to Rays on the Bay for dinner. The highlight was seeing manta rays come into the cove at night sometime after 9pm. The manta rays are easily seen from the bar area. We had dinner but clearly many people come just to see the manta rays, free of charge. It was a pleasure to work with Wayne, the owner. He responded to all questions and followed up to make sure we had no needs. The damage deposit was refunded promptly returned through a check in the mail. Without a doubt, we enjoyed our stay and would happily work with Wayne again. Aloha!"
