"House was as expected after reading the reviews, quiet neighborhood excluding the chickens and train, functions very well as a home base when exploring Glacier and surrounding area I would use this place again when I go back."

"After careful consideration and review, I decided to rent this VRBO in Charlo, MT for 3-nights, to celebrate my 50th Birthday with my wife and two boys, ages 12 and 10. The description and photos and reviews were confirmed upon our arrival. This property has the following elements that we were looking for: 1) spectacular view from the East deck with a Table set for four -- I also came out on this balcony numerous times during our stay to take some pictures and to simply admire the view of the mountains, the willow tree, the cherry tree, and the beautiful landscape between the property and the nearby mountains -- we watched sunsets, moon rises, and stars. Loved it - absolutely loved it -- this property is perfect for this reason alone. 2) wonderful view to the West from the front entrance balcony -- again, photographed and admired sunsets toward the West through the Willows that form the property line -- running between East and West views through this rental home to observe the sunset light. 3) The property itself is clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay -- we were on a 28-day road trip from NY and this was our endpoint and opportunity to relax in one location for a few days -- we could have easily stayed here a week. 4) Missoula is nearby as is Glacier NP -- we visited both. 5) We also went to the local Amish/Quaker? Cafe in Ronin -- really fresh good food -- recommended. 6) We wanted a remote location to feel the real Montana -- this place has it -- the owners in their nearby residence concealed by trees left us on our own while also offering an opportunity to explore their 40-acre property -- wish we had more time to wander the property -- maybe next time. 7) Most importantly, we needed a place to celebrate my 50th Birthday, have a home-cooked meal or two, relax in a real home, and reset before heading back East -- this VRBO met every expectation and then some. Highly Recommended. We would definitely return to rent this home again. Cheers!!"

"This rental was of very high quality, clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and in an excellent location. Neighbours were friendly and helped out with common questions, directions, etc. Ample safe storage of ski gear just outside of condo. The kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking full meals, living space was cozy, and there were plenty of bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The best part was returning from a day's skiing and sharing stories in the shared hotub and sauna downstairs.
The ski lifts were accessed with a 5 minute hike, which was only challenging to the oldest in our group (80 yrs). The return home was a ski-in right to the front parking lot. Of course the skiing in Whitefish is excellent, offering great snow and many challenging runs for those seeking adventure off the beaten path.
Whitefish is a great town, and we visited to buy groceries and watch a movie in the local theatre (free popcorn with admission!)
Booking was easy, and the property owner was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly by e-mail.
We recommend this destination for anyone who wants to explore Whitefish as a ski or recreation area, or just as a quiet getaway for a while."

"This is a wonderful place for a ski vacation, located right next to Whitefish Village. I brought my older Great Dane and it was perfect for a dog that does not do flights of stairs easily anymore! There is plenty of room on the first floor, ample parking, and all the amenities are there in the kitchen. Wi-Fi works from the dining room and I was able to get connection from the living room as well. I'd definitely stay here again and especially since this was my first time skiing Big Mountain and the best parts of the resort were not open yet!"
