"Casa Betita is a wonderful, conveniently located home -- carefully thought-out with meticulous attention to detail. We were there with my teenage son and his friend -- both avid snowboarders. The mountain is about a twenty or thirty-minute drive away, and downtown Taos is only a five minute drive. Cid's Market -- the local equivalent of Whole Foods is close by, as is Love Apple, which was our favorite restaurant in town.
The house itself is perfectly outfitted -- the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. The art and decoration are tasteful and welcoming without being fussy. While it's only two bedrooms, they're very private and the house feels spacious. The bath in the master suite has a large soaking tub and opens to a patio and private yard with a garden. The beds are comfortable with plenty of extra bedding -- blankets, pillows, etc. There's a washer and dryer, a dishwasher -- everything you need for a wonderful vacation. In short, the house is ideal and the owner is very accomodating and prompt and thorough in her replies to emails. We're looking forward to returning to Taos and Casa Betita."

"Casa Azul is wonderful! I can't say enough about Denise's attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond for the renter. We loved our stay in this casita and would highly reccommend staying here if you're in ABQ. It's nestled right in Old Town, so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. We travelled to Santa Fe, Santa Rosa, & Abiquiu during our trip as well. Having a comfy, cozy, clean, and comfortable place to relax after a long day was our goal--and we definitely accomplished that! We loved the decor and all the artwork in the home as well. We can't wait to stay at Casa Azul again...soon!"

"The location of this house blew us away. The setting is exceptional in the beautiful foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The expansive views from the patio and the large picture windows in the living room, dining room and den are truly breathtaking - a pleasure to wake up to each day and enjoy while having morning coffee. We found the house to be very comfortable with its open layout and it was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. All the appliances are modern and clean and the gas barbeque, washer and dryer are brand new. To say there is so much to see and do in the area is an understatement. Santa Fe is only a 10 minute drive from the house and is full of unique museums, wonderful cafes and restaurants, historic buildings, interesting shops and art galleries. The plaza is always lively with buskers and vendors selling native artwork. Venture a little further and you can explore many amazing pueblo ruins, cliff dwellings, an historical ranch, a ghost town, picturesque villages, a super caldera and wonderful hiking trails. We attended a Feast Day at a local Pueblo and had the privilege to observe sacred dances. The house is centrally located to all the attractions in the area and it was lovely to return to this beautiful and tranquil property at the end of each day."

"We really like this rental but there are a few things that need attention the fan in the ensuite to the Master bedroom did not work and the ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work and it was very hot while we stayed we ask the manager if there was A.C and he said he come over and check things but never arrived.I slept in the second smaller bedroom where the fan was working but a very small double so it was to hot to share, no bedside light in there and very poor linen.Being where it is the water pressure is very low so showering takes a bit of time.the Kitchen is so well equipped everything you need when you search through the untidy cupboards the barbecue was dirty its not now as I had to clean it and the tools
We would have liked to sit on the deck for breakfast but the parasol was broken so there was no shade
When we arrived the Manager had broken a window to get in as he had no key? And the former tennants had left the key inside and lock the door, he promised to fix it but we never saw him again and he left the broken glass on the deck
Although there were a few problems we loved the property and the area be aware the drive up is very steep and there are a lot of steps up to the property and you need to go well provisioned as the is not much in the valley
Recommend the Bath house,Highway 4 coffee, the drive to Fenton lake through Gillman tunnels and best of all Caldera National park"
