  • #229557 Home at the beach!

"We could not have been happier with our week's stay at this location. Everything was as advertised - neat and clean. Had a small problem with the Wi-Fi that Lin was quick to become involved in correcting. We were ideally situated near the beach, grocery stores, and a wide variety of eating places. We would highly recommend Benny Pappa's (on Route 17) for Italian and Earnie Platt (off Route 17 toward Cherry Pointe) for steamed shellfish, lobster, and fish for take out. The owner required a small deposit up front to insure the property was left in decent order. This was returned to us almost before we got home. Loved it and out pets loved it!"

  • We didn't want to leave!

"We owned time share in the past, and this was our first time renting from an owner. I was so hesitant! I'm so glad we chose this unit! Julie was great about answering questions, and the condo was amazing! We had a small issue with the "in-house" phones upon arrival, and Julie kept in constant contact with me about it. She stressed about it way more than I did! We even got a mid-week email checking on everything! The condo was absolutely perfect! I was surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. I can't think of anything it lacked! Nothing felt "small". We had plenty of room to move around on our own, but there was plenty of space to hang out as a family. We traveled with my mom who has knee problems. One of the reasons I chose this unit was because I thought the small pier leading to the beach would help. As it turns out, the steps are very steep, and she struggled. BUT...we did some research and found that by exiting out the front on the ground floor, you can take a left and head to the beach via a golf cart parking area and flat sand! So, even that worked out! The resort was perfect for us. It is large enough to offer the amenities we enjoy, but small enough that crowds are not an issue. The indoor pool is small, but very warm and uncrowded. The outdoor pools were cool (we visited in October), so we didn't spend much time there. Still, they were beautiful, and well-maintained. The only thing I could possibly say that I would liked to have seen that we didn't have would have been a table on the balcony. But I can see where that would bring up issues with glass breakage, etc. It was amazing...and we will be back! Julie, thank you for all you do to make your guests comfortable! We appreciate you!"

  • Awesome vacation!

"Jeremy and Suzanne were great to work with! The condo is absolutely gorgeous inside and very spacious! My husband and I were so thankful for the water pressure in the shower! (It's the little things!) Everything was wonderful and very comfortable. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning and actually got to see a school of dolphins go by. The beach was not very crowded at all in front of the complex either. This was our first time staying in North Myrtle Beach. This condo is very close to all the places we like to eat including El Cerro, Hungry Howie's, Empire Fire and Benito's. I have saved this to my favorites and will definitely stay again if this condo is open for our next vacation! I will comment on one thing for future renters. Upon check-in, the rental agency warned us that the humidity often would set the fire alarm off in the condos at the beach. I had never had this happen. The suggested not to leave the balcony door open when outside to prevent this. Well, I was a little scared of getting locked out (don't know why) so I left it slightly open when we ate dinner on the balcony that night. I guess the humidity was just right and the slight opening was just big enough to let enough humidity inside the room. However, the fire alarm didn't alert, the doorbell kept ringing! At first we thought it might have been a prank, but my husband watched the doorbell and it was ringing on it's own. I called the after hours phone number, but it was so late that they didn't call back quickly. Fortunately, my husband found a screwdriver and unhooked the doorbell. When the rental company did call, I told them what we did and that we would hook it back up when we left. It didn't ring by itself anymore. I guess it had to "dry out." This was our only mishap, but these things happen when you don't follow the rules! It won't stop me from coming back......I already miss the breeze, sand and saltwater!"

  • Wonderful Condo and Location

"Ann, the owner, was wonderful to work with and very helpful. The condo is clean and well maintained, with everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to lock the screened area at the front entrance way and leave the front door open so we could get a wonderful breeze through the condo and the screened in porch. The entire condo area was manicured and well kept, and the beach was clean. It was pleasantly quiet with no noisy neighbors or loud music. The photos do not give the pool area justice as there is a large deck area with pool chairs with plenty of room to sit. It's a great location if you're into shag dancing since it's close to the old Ocean Drive Beach and Fat Harold's shagging club and Myrtle Beach for other entertainment. My family and I plan to return again and again."
