  • Amazing view!!

"You're really on top of it all in this house. The view is just incredible. The home is really nice, all wood everywhere. Lots of blankets to snuggle up with, games downstairs, a nice big kitchen table for gatherings or rocking chairs on the porch. I was a little worried about all the stairs (we have 3 year old twins) but they are treated such that they are not slippery at all. No problem for the little ones. I'd suggest getting to the house during the day. Not a fun experience at night when you can't see all the little street signs. The only reason I give it 4 starts instead of 5 is that, for the price, I wish a few little extra amenities would have been included. I know we were told ahead of time but it was still a pain to have to buy dishwasher detergent and a scrubber for dishes, laundry detergent and paper towels. Also, I dropped a diamond earing down the third floor bathroom sink cause there is no cover for the drain. Luckily I was able to unscrew the pvc pipe and pull it right out. The towels are a little like hotel towels too. Overall, my "cons" are minor compared to how great this house is. A ton of people would be comfortable staying here, as were we, a family of four. It's about 1/2 hour away from Gatlinburg, and about 10 down to the "strip". Jan is quick to respond to questions or needs. She's really on top of things. I highly recommend this house!"

  • Mountain bliss

"My husband and I just returned from four days of rest and pampering in this beautiful cabin! I have used VRBO many times and this property was one of the best. Owner was fantastic to help us on such short notice and Cleaning service does such a wonderful job that I would love to have her closer to me! Cabin was spotless, extremely well furnished, and the perfect place to enjoy the mountains! If you are planning a trip to this area, this is the perfect cabin for you!"

  • Perfection! Will Definitely be Returning!!!

"The photos do not do this home justice. It is so spacious, beautifully appointed with antiques and rustic touches. There were more than enough beds for our girls' getaway and the huge living room with 2 couches and 3 chairs was perfect for conversation and relaxation. We even spent time together on the front porch, where there was also plenty of seating. The kitchen table is large and the kitchen is furnished with dishes, silverware, microwave, oven/stove, refrigerator and very nice sink. The entire house was spotless. The AC is powerful (the wi-fi is not) and the tv is both large and easy to navigate. The parking area behind/beside the house has room for 3-5 cars. The Price family is gracious and accommodating. They were genuinely concerned that our visit be pleasant. There were even bottles of water waiting in the refrigerator! I felt so welcome. Although their home is next door, we had complete privacy. Because both doors require going up steps, I don't recommend it for anyone with mobility concerns. There are occasional sounds from farm equipment, but nothing that disturbed us. Just remember to bear right when you turn off of John Sevier! We will definitely be returning for another ladies-only weekend."
