"I thoroughly enjoyed the Red House on Center Hill Lake. The owner, Lisa, was very helpful and accommodating. The house was clean and well stocked. It was also a great layout for entertaining friends. I had a large group of friends come out for a cookout and they all thoroughly enjoyed being at the house. I have three teenage children and they brought along several friends for a portion of the stay. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and the kids enjoyed the basement game room. I enjoyed getting up every morning to see the sunrise over the lake from the upper level deck (OK I went back to bed after watching the sun come up.) If you like your morning coffee watching the sunrise this is the place for you. The view is amazing. I took a picture every morning. I also walked down the the boat launch one evening and it was amazingly serene in the cove. Unfortunately it was quite a hike from the house. I look forward to going back soon."

"Our son married that weekend and we held an outside rehearsal dinner at this beautiful home. The 180 degree views pulled the newlyweds away from the wedding venue to have most of their outdoor wedding photos taken at this home instead. Perfect stay, perfectly breathtaking views, perfectly professional and accommodating owner and staff. We will be back!"

"Having a creek run through the front yard is awesome. We put chairs (bring your own foldout chairs!) in the creek and talked for hours. Better than the beach because you're in the shade w spots of sunlight if you want a toasty time. There's a rock beach near the entrance to the property that's nice and sunny.
Don't take your sandals or sneakers to the cave. Do take flashlights (real ones; not your iPhone) and rain boots if you want to explore far because the ground gets delightfully muddy. But the cool temp feels great.
A dog comes w the property. She's harmless and friendly and a hit w the kids. But you can locate her purely by following her smell.
Our kids want to come back. They had a blast. The adults had fun too, but we're unsettled by a poisonous snake seen the last day in the creek. But take heart: other guests reported seeing the snake, yet no one reported being bitten.
Also, for grocery needs, there's a SuperWalmart 4 miles away. Ask Suri about it."

"The house was great for my husband and me and 4 daughters and 2 sons in law. The kitchen and living rooms were spacious for all of us. I especially loved the master bedroom and bathroom and the porch. We watched the storms come in and listened to the wildlife and watched the hummingbirds and moths.
The owner Mike is very easy to work with. I have already recommended this home to others. And we are considering returning next year."
