  • Wonderful house and spot on the lake!

"Best stocked home that we've ever rented. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We left a tackle box and they sent it the next day. Would stay again!"

  • Perfect for a Guy's Getaway Weekend

"A friend of mine is getting married, so we rented the Lost Creek Retreat for the weekend. Part of our weekend was a tour of the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg and this place was only about 10 minutes away, so the location was great. Secondly, we had 8 guys and everyone had a place to sleep. There was satellite TV for watching football (with surround sound), a gas grill for steaks, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. We brought our own kayaks for the lake, but the owners graciously offered theirs as well as extra life jackets and paddles. Speaking of the owners, they were great. Very accommodating. They were very responsive with my inquiry and offered great advice for the area. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Hospitality to the max. I would highly recommend this lake house for anyone. All you need to bring is your food, the rest is provided."

  • Nice Lake Getaway

"Two families rented this house for Memorial Day weekend. It was a nice place to stay, but not without some flaws. To start, the location was perfect. It's in a nice secluded cove away from the main lake traffic. The boat dock and lift were perfect! There was even a paddle boat which the kids and adults enjoyed. Moving on to the house, the basement was perfect for a group of 8 kids - a place for everyone to sleep comfortably and a place for them to hang out. Moving on to the upstairs, the kitchen is small and tricky to maneuver when preparing food for 12 people. The cabinets were very disorganized and the oven is very old and burned some of our food. We did most of our cooking on the grill, which worked great, but was under the deck. The main floor shower had no cold water, so the basement shower had to be shared. Thank goodness it was just a weekend trip! We had the kids "shower" in the lake - bar of soap and bottle of shampoo - works great! An outdoor shower would be a nice addition to this property."

  • Lake house

"We stayed at the lake house under stressful conditions due to a death in the family. I was able to book the lodging which allowed our family to stay in one location and what a location!!!! We enjoyed our stay tremendously. There were many areas to have what I called "me" time. And also plenty of room to enjoy family, grilling, swimming, fishing, and games. Something for everyone. Thank you Thomas for a great place."
