  • Best spot in all of Vermont

"My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and had the most perfect experience! The owner is very nice and helpful. They left plenty of notes around the house and a binder full of tourist information. We had a wonderful time fishing off the dock, swimming in the lake, making s'mores in the firepit, grilling burgers on the fourth of July, and enjoying an amazing sunset every single night. If you are looking for a place to stay on Lake Champlain, this is the perfect spot. The house was spotless when we arrive. We could watch TV in the living room, and it has three bedrooms. We will definitely be coming back here! It was a picture perfect experience, and we have the pictures to prove it!"

  • Peaceful and Comfortable Retreat

"I stayed here for 2 months in the winter and found it to be everything that was advertised. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable - even elegant, light and cozy. There was more than enough room to spread out. Views were amazing, walks went on forever and Lake Champlain and Burlington were very close. I found myself thinking summer would be just as wonderful! There was always something to do. Owners were nearby, willing and able to help in any way. Truly serene and peaceful!"

  • Fall Get away with our family

"Warren greeted us with a tour of the property and a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers which were delicious! The property was spacious , great WiFi, and we enjoyed the big screen TV with Amazon and Netflix access sitting close to the gas fireplace on the two couches by the gas fireplace. It was unseasonably cold and the oil wasn't scheduled to be delivered until the next week but with the fireplace on with the fan, we were toasty in the evening. I wished the weather was nicer so I could have kayaked along the shore but everything else was wonderful for a lake cabin fall vacation. Note- the house is older than the photograph would one would think. Both bathrooms are downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs. It is a charming, classic lake home with lots of space for group activities and amazing views."

  • The start of a family tradition!

"We have just returned from a wonderful five day adventure in Vermont, staying at the Lake House at Mile Point for the first time. It couldn’t have turned out better. The mountains were filled with all of the colors of autumn while the views of Lake Champlain were breathtaking. The house was extremely comfortable with all of the luxurious amenities (including my favorite – an espresso machine!). There was even a wonderful collection of family board games from which we had friendly competitions each evening. It was a great time to introduce our granddaughter to the area, whether we pushed her in the tree swing or stopped to admire a magnificent red fox that strutted in front of us during a walk. We also visited the local sites including Lake Placid (only 90 minutes away) where we watched ice hockey action at the Olympic center. My son and I caught 54 fish off the shore one afternoon with nonstop action. One aggressive Northern Pike snapped my line after a two-minute valiant struggle. I'm sure I will be thinking about the one that "got away" during the upcoming winter months. We'll just have to return soon and try again!"
