"We had a nice time at the cabin as it's close enough to Seattle attractions but we were able to escape the city. The lake is nice, but it can get crowded (this summer is unusually hot and dry up there, so that may be a factor). We really liked the kids room - we have four young children and they all slept fine in there. The deck is great as well. My only complaint was due to workers being at the house throughout the day for 2 of the days we were there."

"This place was just what I was hoping for! The lakefront has nice large grassy area, and the deck has so much room including a patio tent-cover for part of it, so when the sun gets hot (or if you get a little rain) you can still enjoy the outdoors sitting under cover, plus there are trees for shade too. The no wake zone in front of the house goes for a ways in either direction, so you don't have all the noise of the big boats and jet skiers. That also makes it perfect to paddle around in a kayak or the paddle boat without the worry of watercraft suddenly approaching you, that is a great feature to me. But if you want to do the skiing or large boating, it's just a small ride to get to the larger parts of the lake.
The home was clean and comfortable, the dishes and cooking ware were all good quality too; with a really nice BBQ (sometimes you rent a house and all they have is really old worn out stuff, not here!)
I think for anyone wanting a nice lake house, with all the fun things to do, this is a very good choice. We were there mid week and it was so quiet and peaceful. So I'm not sure what it's like on the weekends, but during out stay, we heard mostly sounds of birds, ducks and a few frogs, and you could hear a pin drop at night, such a nice break from the city life. The house is only 10 minutes or so to get to town, which is convenient if you need anything or want to go out to dinner.
The owner was very attentive to our stay and comfort, really appreciate her communications as we planned this great trip.
I would love to rent this again for a longer stay!"

"Very homey property with fabulous views. After several days of touring Whidbey Island, it felt just like coming
home at the end of each day. The house is well-stocked and includes most of what is needed for cooking. You
only need to supply the food. Very comfortable bed in master. We slept like babies. It was helpful having 2-bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for three adults. It's all one level, but there are 2 steps up to the front porch. I'm sure we will stay here again on the next trip to Whidbey Island."
