  • great for kids too

"We stayed here in aug with two small children. The beach is sandy and really great for kids. The house was good even though the decor was very 'Miami Vice". The kitchen is well stocked and the separate levels allow privacy for each couple. I would stay here again."

  • Great getaway

"We spent only 2 nights at this lovely home and I'm still daydreaming about looking at the ocean from the hot tub!! It was really well equipped and had great little travel details throughout that we enjoyed. Ed and Patti put such thoughtful details in their home that I can't imagine anyone would not feel at home. It was not difficult to find from the Kingston ferry but you obviously need a car to get around (although we walked to the Point no Point lighthouse. Be sure you take groceries from town, as the little store in Hansville is more quaint than well stocked. Thank you for sharing your space with us. We are looking forward to coming again."

  • Our Labor Day Family Weekend was a hit!

"Our four days Lynn's Family Home went exactly as promised. The setting on South Maury Island was terrific and allowed for walks down to Manzanita Beach, kayaking off the bulkhead, and boating from Dockton Marina. We had a mix of beautiful and crummy weather, what a treat to finally see Mt. Rainier jump out on our 3rd day. The accommodations, while not a high end resort, were very nice and reflects the love and care this family has given this home for several generations. I found it best to introduce myself to the close-in neighbors on both sides and were welcomed by them and they helped us best negotiate the tight shared parking. Sure there were things I might have wanted differently (like being able to watch the Mariners Channel), but our whole group of parents and adult children were just so very pleased to have a comfortable and stunning setting for our 'family fest'. I found Lynn to be conscientious and responsive owner. This place is worth considering."

  • Little piece of heaven

"My sister and I planned a trip to visit WA with our husbands and wanted something quiet and cozy. This house offers all that. Gorgeous views! Quiet neighborhood. Clean house. A ready to go hot tub :). Fully stocked kitchen. Binoculars for "whale watching". .....and much more. We stayed 6 nights. Coupeville isn't that big but we did go down to the main town and have dinner at both Toby's Tavern and Front Street Grill. Toby's is really laid back and Front Street has awesome views. The only draw back and something for us that wasn't a big deal is that you do have to walk down a lot of steps to get to the beach (may not be conducive for an elderly couple) and although it only has 1 bathroom it really wasn't inconvenient. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable. Your address is 2024 and we're hoping to make it back as couples that year. Thank you, The Murray and Stilwell Family, Ft Worth, Texas"
