Townhouse Tennis III

Our family really enjoyed staying here. The house is really nice, lots of space for everyone (we were 7 adults). Lovely patio space to sit outside. We used the nearby pool and the tennis courts. Inside Shipyard is both secluded but at the same time not far from Pope Ave and everything that's there. Would rent again.

A wonderful trip. Property is close to Coligany Beach / Plaza and Shipyard Golf. Great walking / biking trails. We had 7 adults and were not on top of each other. Loved the view out back with pond and gold course. Host Mary Ann is so nice, easy to communicate with, and helpful recommendations. Pool 2 minute walk, beach 10 minute bike ride or adequate free parking at Coligany Beach.

Comfy villa in an ideal location!

What a beauty of a spot! Gators, turtles and birds to enjoy from your backyard, and then a quick bike ride to the beach for evening strolls! Comfy beds and a well equipped villa - exactly as listed. We loved our stay!

Good location for our golf trip. Location of the home was in a quiet location but within easy reach of shops, restaurants and everything we needed. Property had good space and everything we needed for our week. Owner was very helpful during booking and check in process and we had no problems during our stay

Lovely, Serene, Location

This was a great stay and located in a nice central location of Hilton Head Island. It was very relaxing, private pool area, has an absolutely beautiful lagoon setting, grounds, golf course view, the host is exceptionally accommodating. The 4 bedrooms was perfect for our family. We would definitely stay again at this location when we merge with family since it is spacious.

Relaxing Shipyard Stay

Overall great experience. Mary Ann was very easy to communicate with. 6 of us stayed for the week and condo was very spacious. Location is great, quick bike ride to Coligny Plaza. Highly recommend.

A delightful and satisfying location

This was our second visit to this property and our experience was even better than the first. Very little had changed since our first visit three years ago and we were delighted since we had enjoyed it so much. The clean large bedrooms and bathrooms, the comfy living room with a brand new, crystal clear TV, the well equipped kitchen and the beautiful vuiew out of the rear patio windows all added to our successful vist to Hilton Head. Also the location is perfect and the Shipyard Plantation is beautiful.

Great location and access to amenities

Love the location and spaciousness of this property. We have eight adults in our family and this was perfect for us. It’s close to everything, beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Also, love that the clay tennis courts and swimming pool were just a few steps outside the front door, but the place was still really quiet. Host was very easy to get a hold, friendly, and attentive to any questions we had. Would stay here again,

Quiet and serene

We enjoyed our stay. Condo was spacious and had everything that we needed. Great view from back patio. Enjoyed watching the wildlife. Check-in/out process easy. Was our first time staying on Shipyard and we loved it. Much less busy than Sea Pines which was a plus for us.

We prefer Shipyard over Sea Pines as well from the standpoint of it being less crowded and it is easy to get in and out without long car lines. My in-laws absolutely fell in love with the pond view and nature watching...one of the main reasons they purchased this unit.

Christmas in Hilton Head

We had a great time in Hilton Head again! This was the second time we stayed at this place and I hope we come back again. This unit is close to both the public and private beaches as well as restaurants and shops. The house has very spacious bedrooms and everything we need to cook and spend the week. Mary Ann is attentive and very responsive. I highly recommend staying at this place.

Nice area

Had never stayed in shipyard before . Although we did have to drive to the beach each day the location was in the middle of everything and the bike paths were awesome! I had to contact the owner a couple of times and she was amazing to respond and answer any questions we had.

The perfect set-up for 3 couples, one with 2 young children.

I host this villa for my mother-in-law who lives in Maryland. She and my father-in-law purchased this villa in 1990 as a second home. They both enjoyed playing tennis and would come down for 6 weeks at a time throughout the year. They chose this villa over several other locations for many reasons. They loved the location as it is centrally located to so many wonderful restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues. They felt a spacious villa with large rooms for extended family and friends was more desirable than a cramped condo in a multi-level situation. They wanted a quiet area, scenic view, tennis courts, nice pool and a low density area. We feel they made a wise choice and my children have many wonderful memories spending quality time with them over the years.
My mother-in-law is no longer able to travel and only began renting it after we lost my father-in-law and my husband a year apart. I have handled and continue to work on updates between renters. My father-in-law was a 20 year Navy veteran and had a wonderful career in the State Department which took them all over the world. Some of their unique finds remain in the villa.
I live in Aiken, S.C. and come down between renters to handle maintenance and repairs and my adult children who live in Aiken, Charleston and Charlotte, N.C. are able to visit some as well. I have been a Realtor in Aiken for 35 years and enjoy interacting with people from all over the globe. It is my pleasure to host the villa and help guests with any tips and recommendations to make the most of their vacation on this beautiful island.

This home was purchased by my husband's parents in order to make great family memories that will last a lifetime. The layout of the villa offers 4 private bedrooms with no connecting walls and 3 full bathrooms. It also offers wonderful outdoor space to wind down, watch the wildlife, read a book , enjoy your morning coffee, etc.
The villa is an easy bike ride or stroll to the beach, many dining options, live music venues, grocery and pharmacy stores, movie theatre, putt putt, etc.
