Just off the 5th hole of the famed Harbour Town Golf Course, this gorgeous and spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home has large open spaces, a fully equipped kitchen and an inviting back yard with a large pool, hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating. A very private setting with a brook running right behind the house.

Having just undergone some major improvements, this home has a brand new grand master bathroom that is fully handicapped accessible. New renovations include a brand new kitchen with handicapped accessible counters and cabinets and an open floor plan into the living room. Both guest bathrooms have been updated as well. The whole place is light and airy. Gorgeous features of the master bathroom make it a luxurious addition. The old bathroom was converted into a large walk-in closet. A new fourth bedroom can be used a a den or guest bedroom for great flexibility.

The large great room is open to the kitchen and the dining room and overlooks the pool and patio area. The master bedroom and one guest room have king size beds while the third bedroom has a queen bed and a twin trundle bed. Each bedroom has its own private bath for wonderful privacy. There are now brand new sliding doors from the living room to the pool area.

The home is a short bike ride to the beach or guests can drive and park at the beautiful Sea Pines Beach Club where you can enjoy casual dining, arts and crafts, water sports and a gorgeous beach. Or stay at the house and enjoy the refreshing pool and spa. Or ride your bike a short distance to the famed Harbourtown yacht basin where you can climb the lighthouse or do some shopping and enjoy the view.

Battery is a quiet cul-de-sac where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful home and a wonderful vacation.

Repeat visit

We stayed at this property before and really enjoyed our stay, but since its recent renovations including a totally new kitchen, we really thought it was wonderful. The kitchen's new white cabinets and open concept into the living area made the house bright and spacious. There were flatscreen TVs in each room and although it was a little chilly for the pool, the backyard was spacious for and we did use the hot tub which was a nice treat after playing golf. The location was great for us as it was at the end of a cul-de-sac on a quiet road in Sea Pines. It was close to Harbour Town, Sea Pines shopping, and the beach areas, and within 1 mile of 4 golf courses. The property managers were very helpful and very attentive. We especially enjoyed several of the restaurants just outside the Sea Pines gate, as well as a few others in HHI. I don't know if I could mention this here, but if you like Jazz, the Jazz Corner (restaurant) is a must , but you need to book your reservation way in advance. We would definitely come back to this property, especially since the renovations, and plan on booking our next HHI stay here very soon.

Sea pines

The house was in a good location, however, they could use a new cleaning crew/linen provider. The pillows in the master bedroom were old and nasty and the sheets had hair all in them. Had to wash them before we could even sit on the bed. The base boards and doors were also not very clean. The back yard was nice including the pool. The kitchen could use some updating as well to match the nice laundry room and master suite. The coffee maker also didn't work very well.

Overall, we enjoyed it even though we had to be evacuated due to hurricane Irma. We did get a refund for the time we were supposed to have left, so we were grateful for that.

Owner's Response: I wish this guest had let us know that there was cleaning issues when they arrived because we would have sent the cleaning crew to the house to take care of it. On a positive note, the house is currently undergoing some renovations including a new kitchen! Stay tuned for new and updated photos.

Mediocre House, Great location

Our families have been coming to Sea Pines for six years & this is the 3rd house in which we've stayed. We loved the location and the pool! The four bedrooms were great and nicely accommodated our family of 9. The Master Bedroom was so nicely remodeled, it didn't fit with the rest of the house! We were less then thrilled with the overall quality of the entire house, though. From the looks of things, we must have been the first rental of the season (mid-June). From the visible dust bunnies under the furniture to the black mold in the spare bathrooms - which they took care of immediately - to the very old and dirty shower curtains and the overall musty smell, it just wasn't what we expected for paying $4000 (with taxes and fees). As another commenter stated, the linens were something you'd find at Comfort Inn. The kitchen was supplied with what you'd consider a mix-match from yard sales. It was very basic indeed. The pool was lovely and a huge hit with the kids but it was odd that in order to use the hot tub we had to call the rental agency and give them our credit card number for the propane to have it heated!

The overall lack of attention to cleanliness and the amount of deferred maintenance (IE - the amount of scratches and dings throughout, the missing or broken wood blinds, dining room table with the bubbly wooden veneer, or the freezer door that was broken on the inside) made the stay less then stellar. I felt like we were staying at a last minute AirBnB rather than a Sea Pines Rental.

We won't rent this house again, but will try a new place next summer.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that things weren't perfect for this guest but this is the first we heard of any issues from their visit. If they had called right away, we would have sent the cleaning service right over to take care of everything. The owner has been updating the place as noted by the master bedroom comment and the bedrooms and den have been updated as well. There are plans for a complete renovation of the kitchen and replacement of some of the furnishings over the off season. We have never had any complaints about the decor of the home and we have many return guests.

The house was very nice and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The house is clean and well maintained. It is not far from the Sea Pines Beach Club. The backyard is private, and the pool is very nice after a hot afternoon at the beach. We had 6 members in our party including 2 teenagers and 2 grandmas, and everybody enjoyed the house.

Wonderful Family Gathering Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay in Hilton Head!! We arrived with our two adult children and found the spacious setting perfect for time together and privacy. We also had plenty of room to entertain our extended family quite comfortably!! Each bedroom came with a private bathroom which we found clean and well appointed. The house is set on a quiet cul de sac and very private. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We had our whole family to stay here for our first vacation since our daughters all married. We were nervous about being together all at once, but there was so much to do and room to be together and yet be separate. The beach is not very close, but is within biking distance and Hilton Head is definitely a biking place to be. The location of the house also insured that we could bike or drive to Harbor Town. My husband and I, who had stayed in Hilton Head many times previously, had never stayed in Sea Pines before this trip. It took us a little while to get our bearings, but we found a grocery just outside the Sea Pines gate and a CVS, as well. The pool was great and our kids had a great time with it.

We were missing linens for the pull out bed when we arrived, but when we contacted our rental agency, they were quickly brought to us. The only real complaint I have is that the bedroom with the trundle bed was very warm. My daughter and her husband checked the vent for this room and the ceiling fan, but it still was hard for them to sleep in this room. They ended up going out and purchasing a standing fan to help them.

We had our granddaughter along (2 years old) and she did not want to sleep in the trundle bed, so we were able to locate a rental agency that brought over a travel baby bed, which helped a lot.

It is a very quiet location, not on the main roads and we enjoyed this immensely.
