Even better than anticipated

This property is simply amazing. The views are even better than the pictures. The location is about as good as you can get - central to everything Florence related but off the path enough to where you’re not around too many crowds. Everything is incredible clean and the interior decorating makes you feel as though you’re living as a local. And lastly, the rooftop terrace provided the perfect backdrop for a surprise proposal. Cannot recommend enough!

Incredible views!

The apartment has the most incredible views! The balcony/rooftop are such a highlight and my toddler son just loved the little rooftop pool which was such a nice relief for hot days! We parked nearby at Garage Lungarno which was just a few minute walk but do beware that to get to the street the apartment is on you have to walk up a set of stairs - this was not a problem for us but May be difficult if you have mobility problems or a ton of luggage. The actual apartment has an elevator which is great. Would recommend this place to family and friends!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed the stay. I would suggest that anyone with heart issues consider a different location. The location is up hill, then the apartment is at the top of the building. We did not recognize the elevator (lift) at first so took the stairs with our luggage in the beginning. It was pretty rough coming in late at night. BUT that should not detract from the overall beauty of the location. If we’re doing a longer stay in Florence 3-4 days, I would definitely return to this property.

Nice place but VERY uphill

We were not told about the exact location that it was an extremely long walk uphill. Hard for taxis to get to the place. I curtains on the windows so no privacy. Everyone could see in. The location was good and close to everything it’s just the apartment was up a VERY steep hill.

Bellisimo!

Serena the host was great. The apartment is located on the top floor of the building, and there are two patios and a balcony all of which had such beautiful views of Florence.

Engagement Trip

I proposed to my partner on our trip to Florence and the rooftop view of this accommodation was so romantic and perfectly set the tone for our trip. Would highly recommend for the views alone!

Amazing views

Great location and views. Bed was comfortable, nice shower and bathroom. Kitchen small but never used. Views are worth the money.

Our stay in Italy was fantastic, we was close to everything and had great views of the city especially from the roof top. We will definitely be back!!!!

Beautiful oasis after a busy day visiting sites

The views from the property are wonderful - a camera can’t capture how close the Palazzo Vecchio and Duomo are. Lovely bathroom, and comfortable bed. We loved dining looking at the lights come on all over Florence. Communication was easy. Thank you Serena for an unforgettable stay.

Mother/son adults from Canada visiting Florence. Simply stunning views from multiple outside balconies. Beautiful new bathroom, host was easy to deal with. Would return.

A Beautiful Stay!

Our 4 days in Florence were absolutely spectacular...and to make everything even more perfect was our stay at this beautiful apartment. The location was perfect and close to everything. The views from the terraces were spectacular. The apartment itself was beautiful and roomy. And finally the communication from start to finish with Serena was seamless! Look no further for the perfect stay in Florence

Serena’s apartment in Oltrarno is one of the best VRBO experiences of our travels. First of all, the location is excellent. Located just steps from the Main Street with near by market to stock your pantry with breakfast items and local foods. Near Signorvino wine bar & bistro where you can purchase wine and enjoy a meal on the Arno. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with excellent views of the Duomo & Palazzo Vecchio. Easy walk across Ponte Vecchio to the historic center. Easy 3 minute walk to Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens. Three private terraces are perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning and wine for sunset. Serena is very quick to communicate and answer any questions about the area. The apartment is immaculately clean. There is a lift to the apartment to bring the luggage. There is a washing machine which helped as this was the first 6 days of our 25 day stay in Italy. The kitchen has coffee machine and kettle and all you would need to prepare a meal (we didn’t but it would be easy). The bed and bath are roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend this for your stay in Florence. It makes a great homeBase for exploring Pisa, Siena and beyond by train.

Amazing views!

I stayed at this apartment for 30 days and enjoyed every minute! The views from every room were picturesque! Serena assisted with translation and coordination of our lost luggage from the airlines and saved the day as well as cleaning service and all coordination needed for my stay. Kitchen was equipped with everything I needed and the washer/dryer worked great. The pictures don’t do it justice, more updates inside but they kept the original kitchen. Would definitely return! Keep in mind, there are steps or a hill to get to the entrance of the building. Worth it to justify gelato nightly.

Great spot in Florence

My wife and I had a great time. The apartments location is perfect steps away from the Pontiac yell and the Palazzo Pitti. Close to shops, restaurants and wine windows. The accommodations were perfect. If there was a problem, it was the mosquitoes. We couldn’t find where they were coming from. Views of the city from the penthouse were stunning. Thank you for allowing us access would definitely recommend.

Marvelous!

Absolutely amazing, jaw dropping views, from every room and outside on the multiple private patios. We had a wonderful two night stay in this beautiful apartment. Check in and out was so easy. There’s a lift to get to the top floor. Restaurants, shops, grocery, and all of the amazing Firenze sites are just outside. Bring your walking shoes and energy to hike, this is Italy after all! 😀 Last but not least, the apt has been renovated, and the pictures do not show it as of now, but it’s stunning and better than pictured.

Although the property has spectacular views and quiet neighborhood, the pictures in the listing need to be updated. The kitchen is the only room, inside or outside, with accurate photos. There is nowhere to place luggage besides the floor. The description of the sleeping accommodations is not accurate, for there is only one king size bed which is vey comfortable, but no linens available for the sleeper sofa. Instructions for the washer/dryer in English would be much appreciated.

False advertising with beautiful views

Pros: Some of the best views you’ll see Cute and quiet neighborhood Cons: Even though there are multiple pics showing a hot tub, there is NO HOT TUB. When communicating this, the maintenance person (not the owner) described that the hot tub is weather pending. This is not stated in the description, nor was it told to me by the owner. Eventually, the maintenance person I was messaging told me to “stop”. Communication was poor, waiting (at times), hours between responses.

Great location and clean.

When we booked places to stay for our trip to Italy, we were looking for great location, amenities, and outdoor space. This place was in a fantastic location, was clean, great outdoor space, however, it was advertised to have a spa tub/pool outside. When we arrived, we noticed immediately there wasn't one. When we asked the host about it, she stated that a previous guest had damaged it and it was being repaired. This may very well have been the case, however, my husband and I were looking forward to enjoying that during our stay in the evenings, as it was over 100 degrees while we were visiting. Again, everything was great, but it wasn't what was advertised, so that was a huge disappointment for us, that may not matter to others, I understand. You pay for something as advertised and it isn't what was provided. Otherwise, we had no complaints. We would stay here again.
