Modern equipped condo on 5th Avenue one block off beach

This condo is right between the beach and 5th avenue, a 1 min walk to Coco beach and 5 min to Mamitas, off of 5th av. with an extremely vast variety of restaurants, bars with live music, boutiques, stands and shops! We are right between 5th Avenue and the beach in a new and trendy área. It really can't get any better!! This is THE perfect location, because it allows you to quickly get involved in the midst of Playa life, or take a breath from the crowd disconnecting in the apartment by the pool. No rental car needed here, but free parking provided.

Your apartment, called Estrella 4 in the condominium Luna Maya, which counts with 24 hour security, has a lush view to the gardens, without being exposed to any common area commotion. The apartment is not only fully equipped with all possible amenities that you need to have a pleasant and relaxing holiday. In any case I love making spoiling my guests and am always happy to keep adding to amenities that may be requested by guests.

Estrella 4 has been fully enjoyed by many visitors. Not one has left feeling anything but pleased! It's perfect a small family of 4 or a small group of friends. The fully equipped kitchen with a brand new refridgerator/ freezer makes it easy to tend to children 24/7, while your washer gets your swim wear ready for the next use. Amongst other ammenities of the kitchen, you'll find a toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, blender, cooking knives, all sorts of dishes and pots and pans to prepare any kind of delicious meal.

The two bedrooms, consist of one King size (can sleep two adults and one small child) and a queen size bed (sleeps two adults). Both bedrooms have their full private bathroom. Two sets of towels per person and shampoo and conditioner provided. Both bedrooms have their own large built-in closet with hangers.

All rooms in the apartment have ceilings fans and independent air conditioners.

The dining room sits 4 people comfortably in an open plan kitchen with a counter bar. Perfect to allow the whole family participate in getting dinner ready :)

The living room has one large sofa that sits 3 and one loveseat. A medium flat screen smart TV, allowing for a quiet evening watching a movie or having the children distract themselves with their favorite cartoon during "down time".

Following the living room, you get to the part where most people like to relax, having a chat and enjoying a drink of their choice - the balcony. If you want to get out of the kitchen, you may opt for a BBQ on the balcony.

Stepping out of the apartment, you have two choices. Turn right, walking down the street towards the beach, or turn left, passing the small parking lot and then walking through the gardens to the pool. Both options are the perfect choice. For the beach you can take some of our beach chairs and a cooler that we have in the apartment, or for the pool enjoy the sunloungers that are already povided on site and 90% of the time available

Clean and comfortable. Host is responsive and helpful. Access to condo is gated. Parking is not but it's basically right next to a police station. No issues with the parked car. Beach is just a few blocks away. 7-11 and restaurants really close. 5th Ave is just a few blocks away.

Great stay for family

Far enough from noise of 5th ave but close enough to everywhere. We really enjoyed staying here. Carolyn, the manager addressed what we need right away. We would stay again when we come back Cancun.

Perfect location & well stocked condo

We enjoyed our quick trip at PDC and this condo. It was easy to find, a block from the ocean and a short walk to 5th Avenue. It had everything we needed. The property manager was amazing.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Estrella 4, location is great 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks to the quinta. Short distance to tons of shops and restaurants. Jaclyn was amazing always quick to respond. Pictures give this lovely condo no justice its really comfortable and the extremely quiet which is great for a vacation to remember!

Spent 7 weeks here and loved it! Great location, great pool area. Very comfortable condo! Spent many hours on balcony having drinks and meals enjoying the view of Ave CTM and the 7eleven across the street. Feel very safe here! Enjoyed meeting other vacationers as well. Great Winter Stay!

We had the pleasure of staying at Jaclyn’s condo in January/February, 2023. The condo has the best location - very short walk to both the beach and 5th avenue. Overall we had a great stay! Personally, I loved that we had real keys to use (not pinpads that seem to malfunction any chance they get), and the condo itself was clean and neatly arranged and well equipped with functioning AC units, washing machine, and good showerheads. The biggest downsides were the smells (sewage stink outside, that varied in strength from day to day, and a strong musty smell inside); they could be avoided by closing all doors and windows and having the AC on, but you don't exactly want to have to stay cooped up like that on a vacation. We didn't use the pool or balcony much because of the smell outside. We did use the small gym, though, and that had AC (you just have to ask the security guards to turn it on for you), so that was great. Francesca, who works for Jaclyn, was very nice, and restocked some things for us very promptly once we let her know they were missing.

A peaceful retreat right in the middle of everything

My family enjoyed this home so much we returned from Maine, USA two weekends in a row. Close to everything yet quite and secure. The best hot water in PDC. We come to PDC often and no matter how nice the home or condo there is never hot water, and I don't mean enough hot water, I mean the water does not get hot. After SCUBA diving and playing in the ocean a hot shower is a luxury for the young and a must for the middle aged. And this place has it. My family can use both showers and we do not run out of hot water. We love it

A quite place near everything

My family and I visit Playa del Carmen multiple times per year and have stayed in just about every area. We had pretty much given up on the area between 5 Ave and the beach due to noise throughout the night and have, almost exclusively, started staying in Playacar. A few times we have even rented a house in Playacar Fase 2 for the peace and quiet and a condo near Playa Momitas for the food and atmosphere. Luna Maya has great access to food and shops, is right by a great beach, has a police substation in front, and was the first place anywhere near 5 Ave that did not have constant street noise throughout the night. It may have the best balance of everything the best vacation spot has to offer. Loved it

Perfect location

The location is perfect, smack dab in between the beach and 5th Avenue, where you will find shops and restaurants galore. 7-11 and pharmacy directly across the street with the tourist police in the middle, we felt very safe. Plus this is a gated condo! Pool was perfect and accommodations were a delight! Thank you Jaclyn! We hope to be able to come back sometime!

A gem in Playa del Carmen!

The description of the property is accurate. It truly is the best location in town! The property is clean and well maintained. Jaclyn, the owner, is only a phone call away and is great to deal with. Francesca, the property manager, is wonderful! She is quick to respond to any questions and concerns and provides excellent customer service. We would certainly recommend this property to others. There are good restaurants on 5th Ave. And even better ones off 5th Ave.!! The swimming pool at Luna Maya Condominiums is great, for both adults and children. The other vacationers and owners at this complex are fun and friendly.

great diving, great condo, great week

Excellent stay in Playa del carmen. The Condo was exactly what was advertised with no surprises. Small issues with the TV but it was fixed immediately. 7-11 store literally across the street and we walked everywhere. Pool was clean and necessary due to a seaweed bloom that has been plaguing the coast for the past 2 years. Also, if you are a runner, the 7am 5th street run is perfect with zero traffic and a few dog walkers. The Scuba Diving is great and I would suggest Scuba Libre. Honestly, our days are spent outside the condo and we were rarely there, but one rain day gave us a nice place to end up and it was very comfortable.

Our family stayed 8 nights at Jaclyn's condo in July 2018 and we enjoyed every night. Pros: Jaclyn and her assistant Francheska were quick to answer all our questions. Condo had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. Quiet condo with a nice relaxing pool and plenty of shade. We went swimming nearly every day. Short walk from 5th Avenue. Visit Salento's across the street for great Italian food. Cons: Early morning construction noise, but that is likely to occurr in many places in PDC.

I loved the place. It was clean and it fit my family of 7. Security 24/7. I felt really safe. Security was really nice and always answered any questions we had. Perfect place in playa

Estrella 4 is a great place to be in Playa del Carmen. It's safe, comfortable, and accessible to the beach, restaurants, and many places for entertainment. I stay with the whole family (6 people) for 6 nights and everyone felt comfortable in this property. The facilities are great.

Wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay! Jaclyn thought of everything. We even had chairs to take to beach. Very clean and well appointed. Walked to everything that we needed. Never needed a car. The condo is very light and bright. Pool area had shade, nice chairs and very clean . We love the area of town with all of it shops and restaurants. Jaclyn is a great hostess, easy to communicate with and quick to respond . We would definitely come here again!

Why they chose this property

We bought this property when it wasn't even built yet. The área was meant to be a new, modern and trendy place and there was no doubt in our minds 10 years ago when we got it. Playa del Carmen has not let us down. 5th Avenue keeps getting longer and people keep finding more and more attractions to do. Whether they are foreigners or locals, there is so much to do. However, although Playa del Carmen has grown over the past two decades, Luna Maya is conveniently close to the high pace life, but strategically hidden to allow the best of both worlds - action and relaxation!
