Beautiful apartment in the historic center of Florence, a stone's throw from Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi Museum, Ponte Vecchio, Bargello Museum and 5 minutes from the Duomo. Located opposite Palazzo Vecchio (8 Mt), it is on the third floor without a lift with 72 steps. The fully air-conditioned apartment consists of a triple room with private bathroom, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a double sofa bed in the living room with 160x190 sizes and two other bathrooms. The ceilings are wooden coffered and the terracotta floors. Maison Charlotte will help make your holiday special.

Michele is a wonderful host. He carried our (many) suitcases up the stairs and even came to let us in when we inadvertently locked ourselves out the first afternoon. He also arranged a taxi for us to the train station. Wonderful host. The apartment is quite centrally located- couldn’t get any closer to Palazzo Vecchio. A slight smell of dampness in the back room but due to the age of the building.

Wonderful apartment in perfect location.

Maison Carlotte is a charming apartment in an excellent location. Michele was an excellent host who was very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location and even better host

The property was very comfortable for our family of 5 and couldn’t have been in a better location. Central to all major sites in Florence. Michele was super accommodating and an amazingly gracious and helpful host.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence!

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location in Florence! Michele is so lovely and helpful. He is such a kind person and made our check in and out so smooth and easy. He was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival and helped us get transportation to the airport upon checkout. We really enjoyed the location of the apartment and it was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend! Thank you Michele for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful home!Grazie mille!

Wonderful!!

We had a great stay in Michele’s apartment! The location is perfect and Michele could not have been more welcoming, kind and accommodating. He insisted on carrying our heavy luggage up the steps when we arrived and brought them down when we checked out. Don’t hesitate in booking this wonderful place!!

7 ladies have discovered Florenz

We spent 7 wonderful days in Florenz. The apartment was really nice and very central situated. It was very clean and all things you need for a stay were available. All places of interest could be reached on foot. The 72 steps upstairs to the apartment were not a problem for us. Alessandra has organized our transfer from the airport and welcomed us personally and gave us good information. All time the assistance we got from Alessandra was excellent. We warmly can recommend this nice apartment. Thanks for the time we could spent in Florenz

Perfect location

The location of Michele’s apartment could not have been. Better for us. He met us upon our arrival and carried our luggage up the stairs for us. So grateful. He was very helpful with local recommendations and was a perfect host. Our cruise port was changed at the last minute due to flooding in Ravenna and Michele heard this on the news and called us immediately so we could alter our train tickets. We also needed printed luggage tags for our cruise and after contacting him, he brought us printed tags including scotch tape ! We’re happy to recommend this property. Thank you Michele

I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this lovely apartment and especially Michele. The apartment is so charming with plenty of space for my family and very tastefully decorated. We especially appreciated having the washing machine part way through our trip with our baby. The location is perfect and easily walkable to just about any place you'd like to visit. And Michele is such a warm welcoming and gracious host. The apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift so he helped us with our luggage despite our protests and was just overall so kind and helpful throughout our stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Super gelegen und mit viel Charme

Die Wohnung ist absolut zentral gelegen, in zwei Minuten steht man auf der Piazza della Signoria, in drei Minuten erreicht man die Ponte Vecchio. Bars, Cafés, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind reichlich in der Umgebung zu finden. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Bestens geeeignet, um die Stadt ausgiebig zu erkunden. Nicht geeignet ist die Wohnung für Leute, die viel Ruhe brauchen (durch die sehr zentrale Lage ist es ziemlich laut); behindertengerecht ist sie nicht wegen fehlendem Aufzug. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

Fantastuc stay in Glorence

The apartment was excellent and had plenty of space for our family if 5. Fantastic location right in the heart of Florence with easy walking to all the main attractions. Air conditioning was welcomed at the end of each day as the weather was quite warm. We would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Florence.

Florence getaway

We, a family of 5 adults, thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Alessandra. She had arranged for Elly to meet us and provide all the necessary info about the apt as well as directions with a map for getting around. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the third bathroom. We were up on 4th floor (5th by our standard) and at first we thought that was a bit much, but we adjusted quickly. We used the washing machine which was a nice extra. We did find mosquitoes to be a challenge in both Venice and Florence so take bug dope.

Great Apartment, Great Location.

Easy walk from train station or bus depot. You can take a Gondola right up to the front door practically. As a base for site-seeing you won't be disappointed. Everything in listing was included. Only downside was the third bathroom was not usable during our stay. We would stay again!

Pretty apartment in the perfect location

Just returned from 3 nights in this apartment. Location was perfect, the Uffizi and Duomo within a couple of minutes walk. Elly was a fantastic meet and greet person. She took time to talk us through the workings of the apartment and gave us loads of good tips on places to visit during our stay. Thank you Elly. Highly recommend this apartment. People in general were very friendly and helpful, added to the whole enjoyable city experience.

Well equipped, great location!

The apartment couldn't be in a better location...right behind the palazzo Vecchio. It has three bedrooms (don't forget earplugs for the front two rooms - the back bedroom is quiet), and mosquito repellent in the Spring. Three full bathrooms. For us, spoiled Americans, all it would lack is a clothes dryer but our hanged wash dried up well overnight. The neighborhood is very safe and the place is clean and well equipped. Just next to the building there's a nice trattoria (Buzzino, owned by friendly Alessandro)...eat to your heart's content with no worrying about calories: the 3 flights of stairs to the apartment will burn them. Just around the corner is the popular Antico Vinaio for a tasty 5-Euro san (go early to avoid long lines). We travel quite a bit and for us, the best part was Alessandra, the owner: the most pleasant, accommodating, helpful owner we have encountered - a real GEM of a person (speaks excellent English). This was our seventh stay in Florence (first at Char;lotte Maison) and we will make sure to book it for our next time. We highly recommend it - Great Value!!!

A very nice apartment in a terrific position

We were 3 getting on a bit guys visiting Florence for a fashion trade show. The apartment is in a fantastic position for all the main sights in Florence. Considering the inflated prices that hotels charge during these periods, the cost was very reasonable. The only downside (apart from the stairs, which we knew about) was quite a lot of noise from the property above. Why people need to move furniture around at 7 am every morning beats me.

Perfect little apartment in the Middle of everything

We loved the apartment. It was a great location close to everything. It was very clean, tidy, and cute. It was great for a family with kids. The staff was super helpful and sweet. I would stay again.

Beautiful place, perfect location

Charlotte appartment is a beautiful refurbished old appartment in the center of Firenze. Is as nice as it seems in the photographs and at walking distance of Piazza dela Signoria, Duomo, Ponte Vechio, etc. The owner provides with a lot of very useful information about restaurants and amenities. We followed the adviced and eat wonderfully all days. Perfect stay.
