Nestled in a pine and aspen forest, this is perfect spot for a quiet getaway, conveniently located between downtown Winter Park and Arapaho National Forest. During ski season it is a short drive to the Winter Park and Mary Jane base lots or you can catch the free shuttle to the Winter Park Resort base from the end of the driveway. The recently added summer buses also provide access to downtown Winter Park and Winter Park Resort summer activities.

Our cozy 850 square foot, two-story town home unit has a modern, fully stocked kitchen which is situated next to a private tranquil patio. The front room has a queen-size fold-out couch, wood burning fireplace, and a newly remodeled 3/4 bathroom.

The upstairs offers two bedrooms. One with a king bed and a private deck, the second with two bunked full size beds and a twin trundle bed. The full upstairs bathroom has also been renovated. High speed cable internet with free wi-fi access is also provided during your stay.

An easy half mile walk up Vasquez Road is the entrance to Arapaho National Forest with access to multiple hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing trails. For summer rentals, an outdoor tennis court and basketball hoop is just up the hill.

Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake are 30 miles north. There are three public golf courses within 30 miles of the condo.

About The Owner

We've had so many memorable days in Winter Park that we decided to make it our second home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Why The Owner chose Winter Park

Hideaway Village is a great little spot tucked between the Arapaho National Forest and downtown Winter Park. It's easy to head up the hill to the national forest hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing trails or down the hill to the downtown Winter Park restaurants and shops. There's plenty to do nearby with easy access to the ski area via the brown route on the free Winter Park shuttle.

What makes this townhome unique

You can park your car and never have to use it again if you don't want to. Town is walking distance with plenty of restaurants and some shopping, the national forest is walking distance and the Free Shuttle to the ski area is right across the street!

Great condo

This was a great condo for our family ski trip. Cozy condo with comfortable sleeping arrangements and full stocked kitchen. Right on the bus line. Great stay for the price. The only thing I would mention is though there is sleeping for 6, but only counter seating for 4 for eating. Wasn’t a problem for us. Will stay there again!

Great mountain condo!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. My husband and I and 2 adult children had room to hang out, eat and sleep comfortably. This condo had everything we needed for a great ski weekend. It was close to Winter Park ski area, but not in the village. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. We would totally recommend it to our friends.

Can't beat this hideaway

My family had a great time staying here for our ski trip. The condo is centrally located between Winter Park and Fraser, and a short drive to the mountain base. The condo was in great condition, stocked with everything we needed, and the perfect size for our family of four. We also enjoyed sitting on the three patios to watch the fireworks on New Years Eve. For those who don't mind walking, the condo is a short distance to the Main Street and restaurants, bars and shopping. The owner Kevin was also very accommodating to offer a comp'd pass to the Fraser Rec Center upon finding out the condo's rec facility was closed for repairs. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need

Comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, wii, books, games, nice tv with cable, grill, pool and hot tub access. Nicely remodeled. Location is close to town but up in the trees too. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome hosts - always ready with answers and help when needed!

An oversight caused our unit not to be ready when we arrived, but a call to host Kevin, and the crew was there immediately to clean. We also had a problem with the doorknob working properly and again, Kevin was very quick to have repaired and have a key waiting for us. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for me, my husband, adult daughter and our granddaughter. The hosts provide a binder in the condo with all kinds of info, coupons/discount card. Also, I would recommend guests check the bookcase for books about the area - unfortunately we didn't until the end of our stay. Kevin's wife, Gemma also responded quickly when we couldn't figure out the (inside) pool location, but when we found it, our granddaughter loved it AND the hot tub! There's even a ping pong table! We also used the laundry there as well. We really enjoyed watching the chipmonks devour sunflower seeds on the patio and we filled the hummingbird feeder which provided more entertainment. All in all, we would definitely want to stay in this condo if/when we return to Winter Park!

Great location from town. The building is older, but this unit is updated, well maintained and well stocked with anything you could need. Loved their choice of products for personal use; soaps, shampoo, etc.
