Location, location, location! Enjoy this 1-bedroom, 1-bath, ground -level condo, which is just a short walk to the Westin and Mammoth's famous Village, with its numerous shops and restaurants. You can leave your car parked, and take advantage of the town's free shuttle which stops just outside, or ride The Village gondola to Canyon Lodge, a nearby amenity that makes this location almost ski-in/ski-out!

The master bedroom offers a Queen bed with a 32" flat screen high-definition TV. Additional guests can use the available full size futon (VERY COMFORTABLE!) in the living room. Additional bedding is provided. Enjoy a home cooked meal in the fully-equipped kitchen and relax in front of the warm pellet stove while you watch a movie on the smart TV. You'll appreciate the living room and deck views onto undeveloped woods where falling snow and local wildlife will help you forget the city life, and fully engage in the beautiful Eastern Sierras. Complimentary password protected WiFi and cable/satellite TV are provided during your stay.

Great place to stay for the quick ski trip

Great close location to the village. It was a bit cold when I first arrived, but after the wall heaters got going there was no problem. Perfect place for myself to stay before heading up to Tahoe.

Compact and clean

Our stay was for three nights which was perfect for this condo. It was small enough for two adults and one 11 year old. I’d say the kitchen wasn’t supplied to cook a large or complex dinner, but it was certainly clean, even the coffee maker/pot was spotless as well as the refrigerator. The electrical heaters and wall heating kept us warm during the snow storm end of February. The location was just right. We enjoyed our stay.

Aside from the lack of central heating , it was fine. Very barebones and utilitarian, but for the price it worked. Property managers were responsive with extra towels and pellets for heating unit

unfortunately we had to cut our trip short, so did not get to fully enjoy the stay and the amenities. but the property was as described - easy to find, check in, and walking distance to the gondola which takes you straight to canyon lodge. very convenient.

Have some type of rug or grip inside door entrance. Very slippery after walking through the snow from the car to the door. Only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5. Great place other than that.

It was not worth the charge-it was small, the "dinner table" was small and the stools were uncomfortable as was the "couch". The final straw was the LIST OF 16 POSSIBLE FINES ranging in additional charges of between $25 and $500 if you didn't turn out the lights when you left ($25) to $400 for smoking in the unit. The fuse blew out our first night and we could not turn on the heater. We will think twice about VRBO for our next trip.

Place was quite small. There was not enough room in bedroom for suitcases so had to put them in living room. Couch was horribly uncomfortable. After sitting 20 minutes on Couch ended up with very nasty backache. I sat on folding chair the rest of the stay. That Couch should be burned. It was never told to us that there was bear issues until we mentioned to office and then they said there had issues . A heads up would have been nice. I would not recommend this place to others

NOT ski in/out

I normally am very positive and look for all the great things in a property and err on the side of "they were trying to explain it properly" but, bottom line, this is blatant misrepresentation because this is in no way a ski in/ski out condo as it was listed in VRBO. It is a half-mile 10-minute walk just to get to the village gondola. I honestly felt very cheated. The condo itself was clean, the process easy, and the parking was easy - the unit inside was fine - but this is not ski in/ski out and the price reflected that. Very unhappy.

Cozy and convenient location

The condo is great for a couple or small family to get away and enjoy the mountain. Easy walking to the village. Property management was very responsive and helpful. The only negative part of our experience was with the overall complex maintenance crew. We were there when a big storm hit and a lot of snow had to be plowed or shoveled to allow cars to exit the complex. There was one gentleman with a push-plow helping, but he was alone with the one piece of equipment. The crew of a few other gentleman with shovels prioritized shoveling out the dumpsters and the pool area (during a snowstorm) and we moving the snow into the driving paths, causing issues for cars trying to exit. When we approached them to ask if they could relocate the snow to a location that wouldn’t interfere with cars, they responded negatively and continued shoveling snow into driving paths, causing multiple cars to get stuck. I borrowed a shovel from the gentleman with the plow and had to dig a path out from the back corner of the complex. The crew also, quite literally, buried another gentleman’s truck in snow while trying to clear the pool area and even acknowledged that they were doing it when the gentleman confronted them, but continued to do so anyway.

Perfect location but needs some TLC

I appreciate reviews as I book places based on reviews. Should have read more reviews on this place. So here is my pros and cons list:Pro: Loved short walk to the village. We walked everywhere Short drive to canyon lodge liftQuiet area Had bare essentialsShower warm Fridge worked goodCons: Pellet heater seemed to only heat living room area. Took awhile to heat up. Condo essentially was cold, even with wall heaters and portable heaters. Had wall heater on as well as 2 portable heaters 1 night and was still cold sleeping. The 1 Couch was very uncomfortable Barstool chairs for kitchen table not ideal or comfortable Can’t imagine if we had 4 people. I guess they’d have to sit on folding chairs that are in closet.There was pee at the base of the toilet. The 2 pans I used to cook were dirty. Be careful & I’m surprised no one has reported falling. If you are walking in from snow with wet shoes, you might fall. We cleaned our shoes off but we’re still damp from snow. We both slipped 2 times on tile. There is not mat inside the door. LONG list of to dos before you leave and the charges that go with it is crazy. Like 25 bucks if you leave lights on! Shower door was nearly impossible to slide.Didn’t like that the box spring is not covered. Place needed TLC for sure. Patched together. Overall if you want bare minimum for a place to sleep but not necessarily be cozy or comfortable then this is your place. Unfortunately, this one will not be a rebook for me.

Great location

This place is perfectly situated near the bus stop and all the local spots. It wasn't as clean as I expected. Their was a dirty bowl and spoon in the sink when we walked in. Not to mention the bed sheets had a hair on them. They expect you to leave the place prestine but yet when we arrived it was anything but prestine.

A nice little cabin close to the lifts

Thank you for letting us stay at this property. We enjoyed our days up in Mammoth and had a great time on the slopes. Re the property, all was as expected and we will be happy to recommend it to friends, when asked. Just two comments as constructive feedback: - The property was very cold when we arrived -- and given that this was late at night, it took as some time to heat it up. May be good to give a heads-up to guests - In the kitchen we only found two frying pans and missed to at least have a pot to be able to cook pasta. May be worth stocking up on this staple cooking utensil. But overall, thanks again for a great stay. Kind regards, Roland and Family
