SHORT WALK TO THE FAMOUS SIESTA WHITE SAND BEACH & QUAINT ISLAND VILLAGE.

Enjoy this ‘Old Florida Charm’ beach cottage. It has two bedrooms (one king and one queen) and two bathrooms (stall shower in one and tub/shower in the other.) The large living room has French doors leading onto a screened-in porch, which overlooks the brick walkway in the gardens. It has a large kitchen and bright dining room surrounded by windows, which have a view of the canal. The master suite has a beautiful bay window for gorgeous views of the gardens and a separate additional entrance for privacy that leads to the outdoor shower. Across the street is the canal and a dock for boating, kayaking, and fishing. It is only a short walk to the famous Siesta Key beach and village for all your shopping needs.

Pets are welcome with a refundable pet deposit.

Our stay at Canal place was beyond our expectations! We were close to the beach, shops and restaurants (nightlife). If you are an active and outdoorsy person this is the place! The photos do not do any justice in my opinion, Rich was very hands on any help or questions I had he was available to help. This was a true beach home which was very clean and had a nice open layout. The lanai was my favorite room with the canal access. I definitely will be going back.

I just returned from a 3 week stay at Canal Place. The weather was wonderful, the cottage very comfortable and appointed with everything you could ever imagine. The beautiful Siesta Key Beach is a 7 minute walk although I did drive over sometimes in the 5-7Pm hour just because I was lazy and wanted to maximize the quiet time on the beach to read. There is a kayak out the front door and 3 bikes in the back. It's a 7 minute walk in a different direction to the hardware store, grocery/wine store, shops and all of the restaurants. It is a very safe and populated neighborhood but you might want a flashlight if you are walking home after dark. Ali and Rich could not be nicer and more helpful. Book early, these cottage go fast. "Cold in Buffalo"

We are Ali, Rich and Chloe Jane Light. We moved to Siesta Key in 1997 and have never looked back. We absolutely love living here and sharing our paradise with our guests. We have been renting our six cosy bungalows since 1998. Ali is an artist and has drawn inspiration for colors and design of our bungalows from our travels to Hawaii, Ireland, and the British Virgin Islands. Rich was a custom design home builder and landlord for many years in the Philadelphia region, so together we have found the perfect match for having beach rentals.

Why they chose this property

When we moved to Siesta Key in 1997 we knew that we wanted to be able to share this gorgeous area with others and having rentals seemed to be the perfect way.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefit of staying at our properties are the ability to walk right to the beach and village, or we provide bicycles so you can explore the island. We are always available and live just a few doors away from most of our places. We are always excited to share our favorite places and restaurants so even our single guests feel like they have family here. Pets are welcome with a refundable pet deposit.
