About Gisèle & Rob Munroe

We are Canadian family, never thought we'd own a vacation home in Florida as we enjoyed seeing new places and traveling. In 2007, someone told us to check out Siesta Key as we loved going to the beach. Well, we fell in love with this part of the world and in 2010 bought our own vacation home. We used a management company for many year but have decided to rent it out on our own (as they rented it too much) and we wanted to visit more often. We love our piece of paradise and know you will too!

Easy's so close to the beach and a short walk to the village. Felt secure walking around day or night. Location, location, location. We enjoyed building the back yard oases. Everything you see there, we put in. We truly enjoy making updates and improvements every time we get to stay at our house. What makes this house unique

Great location, park the car and walk every where. Feel safe and secure in this neighbourhood. Enjoy the beach and if you forget something, it's just a short walk back to get it. Quite, relaxing, your own private pool. Come see for your self.

***We have undergone extensive renovations. We have updated the plumbing through out the house. Installed a new front door and two new sliders in the back. We have updated the kitchen, and installed a new tile floor through out the house with new carpet in two of the three bed rooms. The bedrooms have been refreshed as well as completely renovated both bathrooms. We are so pleased with the transformation and hope you are ready to enjoy it too ***

Charming & immaculate beach house was perfect for our month long stay.

Close to beach and Siesta Village. We walked or biked everywhere on the Island. House beautifully decorated and well equipped. Gisele and Rob were wonderful to work with!

The pictures do not show how fabulous this place is!

We cannot rave about this home enough. It was the perfect layout. Totally updated and could not have been in a better location. 6 blocks from town. 2 blocks from the best beach in the country. A couple things that were critical for us were a comfy bed, good shower pressure and good Wi-Fi. All were fantastic. The pool was beautiful and the house and yard are taken care of. We have already booked for next year. Rob and Giselle are the nicest people and were great about taking care of things anytime we asked.

Stay here. You won’t be sorry!

Perfect Location in Siesta Key

We really enjoyed our 2-week stay in November at Gisele's and Rob's house. The house was spotlessly clean, and well furnished and equipped, and the photos and description in the listing are completely accurate. Gisele was a pleasure to deal with, and the only very minor issues we had were resolved very quickly. The back patio and pool were very private, and the pool was kept at a pleasant 84 degrees. The beautiful beach was just a 5-7 minute walk away, and very handy for watching the great sunsets. You can also walk to Siesta Key Village in 15 minutes, with its several restaurants, shops, bars and grocery store, and there is a free, frequent bus service up and down the Key. Although we had a car, it would certainly be possible to stay here without one. The only possible minor downside is that we lost the sun in the back patio by 2-2:30 PM, but we were there in mid- to late-November when the sun is near its lowest point in the sky, and there is nothing the owner can do about this. All in all, a great stay.

Home from home in the sun

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 weeks stay at this lovely villa. From the moment you drive up to the property you know you are going to be impressed.lovely well kept garden at front.brilliant location 5 mins walk in one direction you are on siesta key beach. 10 to 15 mins walk in the other you are in siesta key village where there's lots of resturants and bars and shops.the villa is clean modern and large.we loved the pool. We sunbathed in back patio and when it got too hot we jumped into the heated pool. So good. Kitchen is well equipped but we ate out all the time anyway. Free WiFi.lovely big shower in main bathroom as we as ensuite. The location was great. 10 mins in car and you are in downtown sarasota. Lots of shops restaurant and bars.2 mins From there you are at the harbour with all the expensive boats.marina jacks bar does great lunch menu where you can sit outside and watch the boats on the bay. 5 mins further on you are in millonares row . St armands circle lots of boutique shops and restaurants. Next is lido beach then longboat key then 30 mins further on Anna Maria beach. Our favourite. Can't say enough good things about our time at this villa and Sarasota. We have stayed in Sarasota 4 years on the run and this was our favourite villa and location. Gisele the owner is lovely we had the pleasure of meeting her while we where there. We felt very safe while there and walking around. Everybody says good morning it's lovely. Here's to our next holiday next year and we will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Great spot, amazing area!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! Very clean and plenty of room for everyone. It was a short walk to an amazing beach.The kids loved the pool and my daughter loved riding one of the available bikes around the area.

A beautifully maintained property that exceeds the photographs. We have just left after an extended stay of more than 6 weeks and during the entire time there was not one thing we needed, that wasn't already there and provided. The location is exceptional. Two minute walk to the beach, 10-15 to the village. Quiet and beautifully serene, yet close to everything anyone could need.

Gisèle was amazing. I have rented many properties yet never come across such an efficient and kind owner. Always available for questions, yet never intrusive. In my opinion this property cannot be beaten. Start to finish, it was perfect. Thank you Gisèle. Amazing house, amazing service. Can't wait to return as soon as possible !!
